I was so excited when i saw this video, then went to their site and BOOM $165 for a rubber strap??? I'd rather buy another original bracelet and have the one as a daily scratcher.
The finishing on it does look very very refined, but yeah, fucking expensive. I just much prefer the look of the rubber than the original bracelet. With the bracelet it’s almost too retro for me
Looks great, but the price is absolutely crazy (and it doesn't even come with a deployant clasp - at that price it should). I mean, it's almost 2/3s of the price of the quartz PRX lol. When and if Tissot releases an official rubber strap it will probably cost 1/4 of that one. There are various premium FKM straps out there being sold for less than 100 (not for the PRX obviously). Even Isofrane, that is usually considered one of the best rubber straps ou there, costs way less than this one. I don't doubt the quality and I appreciate the work and effort, development costs, etc, but it doesn't make sense to me.
I just ordered my green strap from them! I’ll be waiting patiently. I don’t really need the lug to lug to be smaller but the versatility and fun it offers is awesome
For 165$ you get some of the most high end leather straps from serious luxury brands... or you waste them on a rubber strap that gets molded for less than a dollar for a watch which entire steel bracelet costs less (99$) than said rubber strap. Nonsense
From my experience, the buckle is only being held onto the strap by a thin layer of silicon. Eventually, that will fail and you replace the strap. Repeat until you can no longer find straps. #TagHeuer
I really love this strap but why does it have to be so expensive, delugs straps looks amazing but they’re alittle overpriced. This strap alone cost as much as some automatic watches
If Delugs use the same quality of rubber strap from their Tissot PRX here on something like a Cartier Santos rubber strap or Vacheron Constantin overseas rubber strap, then the price will feel more than worth it. It’s easy to feel like this rubber strap is expensive since the Tissot PRX is only like $650 or roughly a 4th of the cost of the Watch.

Its actually an homage to a tissot model from the seventies called the seastar automatic i believe it was produced from 1970 - 1979, but they re-released this model definitely because of the popularity of the AP and its similarites with it.

I've never liked rubber straps on any watches except for g shocks. It's either leather or bracelets for me.

Yes you can . The strap /. Bracelet has a quick release spring bars that requires no tools to use . Very easy to remove
