Nice leather strap.. But for now I really love the bracelet that comes with the prx.. that is why I purchased it because of how awesome the bracelet is.. I can never think of any strap that sa good as the stock bracelet..
@@zacyazz1809Tissot is so incredibly slow with the release of their strap options… Black is still the only option available when it comes to their rubber PRX straps
Thanks man! I think all things being equal I prefer the steel bracelet. But I think I’m a bracelet guy o begin with. It’s nice to have options though. I wish my dad was into watches. I’m inheriting nothing 😂
@@burbinghard My dad is very elderly & I bought him the watch for his 89th birthday & only found the OEM leather for sale direct from Tissot in Swiss cheese land. So got that as well. I think he found it awkward with the deployment clasp design but I'm only guessing.
I love the look of this timepiece, however with the design flaw (to my mind, anyway) of the non-articulating first links, the 40mm dial version wears too big for my 6 3/4 inch wrists. The 35mm wears great but the dial is way too small. Do the leather strap versions wear a bit smaller than the (lovely) bracelet?
I am hoping in 2023 that Tissot offers a 35mm black dial PRX with leather strap options. Powermatic 80 for 35mm would be great as well 😊 Tried the blue dial 35mm PRX the other day and it is perfect for thin wrists like mine.
Did you really need to use the tool to change the strap? How hard is it to use your fingers? I keep my nails really short so I wonder if I’d be able to do it without any tools
Nice vid! I've been meaning to make the video on this for my channel; I got the straps and ordered the bracelet so opposite what you did Not a fan of the quick release, it sits too embedded so it's nearly impossible to do with bare fingers and they didn't include the assisted little bar with my bracelet purchase for some reason Some needle nose pliers will make this a breeze though
I did remove both half links on mine as well. I am wearing 10 full links on each side. I tried 9.5 and 10.5 and it felt a little bit too loose. That just depends on your wrist size and on your preference. Half links are there to be removed or added if needed, just like the regular links
The strap for my blue-dial PRX disappointed me. It's much to dark, almost black and do not match the dial. The strap is too stiff and they didn't even bother to put a butterfly clasp on it, so it will soon be showing wear and tear.
@@burbinghard i know but originally it was the bracelet, the leather strap only came later to give people options but I think the bracelet on that particular watch is the way to go.
@@franc101978 It does look better on the bracelet, but I think it's a comfort thing people are finding out about. I have the green model and the bracelet is a little sharp and the butterfly clasp always digs into the wrist. So, to wear the watch as an everyday, people are looking for the other options or else the watch will just stay in the watch box..
I think it really depends on the person and their personal style. I don’t think it’s a bad value, but personally I wear it on bracelet. I might actually spend more to get the Delugs leather quality if I was a leather strap guy.
I am glad I bought the leather strap too. It is comfortable and made with quality material.
Thank you for this video. I always go to my watch guy, but couldn't wait. Wow was it easy to change the band.
4:50 to avoid him babbling and actually get to changing strap…
thx for the video. I bought the new white T603048463 strap for my tiffany, looks awesome

excellent! can’t wait for the oem prx chrono straps
Great video thanks buddy!
Now if you want it even more in the sports look, there is the Delugs Rubber strap...looks amazing, but $165
Tissot has released the PRX with black rubber strap yesterday. I'm waiting for the blue one.

Hey Burb great video - I did the strap swap for my fathers PRX. He likes the leather strap over the steel bracelet.

Very nice and easily to do it.
Very clean, Thx for sharing... Very clean piece.
Appreciate it 👊🏻
Appreciate it 👊🏻
Looks great man 👏
I’d love this with a deployant clasp.
I can’t find the steel bracelet in Tissot website, is it not avaiable ?
I got a Tissot PRX in ice blue with an additional black leather strap, but it was not a good choice for black leather.
Do they sell straps for the 35mm one? Can you help with the lug size on the 35mm?
👍👍👍
What do you think of the leather strap, is it worth buying?
Where i can purchase the strap

yea it does, i have both of them, the leather strap will shorten the lug to lug by a bit

I’m glad they’re offering 35mm though. Great move by them IMO.
So if I want to buy a strap on Amazon I should search for 12mm strap?
Hi.Is changing to strap changing the lug to lug size due to construction of the bracelets first link?
They lay very similar. The leather is a bit more flexible but the center link is about the same length.
Did you really need to use the tool to change the strap? How hard is it to use your fingers? I keep my nails really short so I wonder if I’d be able to do it without any tools
In the end I used a tweezer. It's not a easy as Burbinghard makes it look. :-)
@@jkfatamala absolutely, I scratched my watch during the bracelet swap! And yes, tool is required
Absolute headache to change, I JUST uploaded the video on my channel
What happens if you unscrew those screws from the spring bar? Does the spring bar come apart?
im guessing they prevent the spring bar from separating from the bracelet itself, and at the same time allow the quick release system.
Definitely prefer the bracelet.
Overall, I definitely wear it on bracelet more.

update, posted my video, changing the strap is a headache lmao
I am confused between black and blue. How does black look to you in reality?
do you know if they will release a rubber strap?
Being released in June
You take both half links out of your Tissot bracelet?
That’s just how it fits me.

looks much nicer than on bracelet
I’m definitely appreciating both right now.
Could I know the width of buckle side?
It looks like it tapers to about 18mm at the buckle.
Do these straps work for the 35 mm version?
The full size (40mm) strap wouldn’t fit the right case width for the 35mm versions.
@@burbinghard Thank you, it'd be great if Tissot release some.

sur les 35 mn ya pas d’autre bracelet..
🖤🤌
Man dont lay and press it on the table🥴 This aint a Yuppi watch
It’s pronounced Tee-So.
In French, yes.
here in Germany we say Tissot
10 times faster and easier to just use your nails/fingers
It’s easier to see what I’m doing with a tool, but yes you can use fingernails
Just pinch your fingers together to take off the bracelet bruh
It should be that easy, but it was pretty difficult when new.
This watch was made to go on that bracelet, leather strap ruins the look of it
To be fair, Tissot sells them on your option of metal bracelet or leather.
