Someone did a fan crossover of Star Trek, Star Wars, Halo, and Mass Effect universes. With the whole fiasco being because Dr. Who made a whoops in the Tardiris. Galactic Battles is the title.

I like Prodigy, its so underappreciated. Yeah Lower Decks is supposed to be slapstick silly, but Prodigy, although cartoon really does pickup the baton as true "Trek".

I agree. Prodigy could generate a huge number of good new episodes, since so many of the actors can still do their voices, plus animation doesn't need any extra special effects budget.

For a show aimed at Kids... Prodigy captured the absolute best of Star Trek.

It seems aimed at younger viewers but every scene of this show feels like true Trek, whereas Lower Decks is more a parody.

@@WarGrowlmon18 and you should at least try it. even as a more comedic show, it's still more Trek than most recent shows, their season 3 DS9 episode is trully a great follow up to the events of the series

@@WarGrowlmon18 same here voyager got me to star trek but DS9 made me a true star trek fan. If voyager made you feel like part of the crew. DS9 will make you wish that Quark was your next door barkeeper. Give it a chance, finish the first season the characters will grow on you, by the end of it the theme music alone will get you exited.

I always thought that solar panels on the GG bridge road was extremely limited thinking about what 2380 would be like. There is endless other land for panels. The GG bridge should just be a large, long park.
I am certain at this point, the Solar Panels is more as museum. "The Golden Gate Bridge Solar Plant Museum" or something like that.

Vulcans may not have emotion our they may burry them however somewhere in the briefing notes somone should warn them, dont piss off Janeway, look what she did to the Borg.
How do they know its an alternative future. I mean I guess every future is alternate, but how do they know?
There is a department in the Federation called "Temporal investigations." so even the basic Starfleet officer at the time of the Protostar would have some basic knowledge.
My best guess: in Startrek Discovery, there’s an episode where Dr Kovich says that when people cross over to our timeline from another time and from an alternate universe: their molecules are unstable.
I guess that Chakotay’s transmission would show similar signs when scanned.

Starfleet's been dealing with this crap since Captain Archer's time. I would hope after 300 years they'd have some idea how timelines work.

It does have rather a TCW-esque vibe to it beyond the visuals anyway. The first two episodes in particular felt like they could easily slide into the SW universe with only minor tweaks.

Worst prodigy ep ever. lazy writing by far. such an epic part 1 and they just threw together the part 2!
First of all, if all it took to save the day was to simply destroy the Protostar AFTER it infected starfleet ships, why did the " Ensign Vindicator" leave the Protostar in the hands of the crew- just in case they DID decide to scuttle the ship?( and i thought Jangkom tried to destroy the Living Construct, in every way possible and couldnt destroy it !
(it looked like it has adaptive and defensive abilities). for all we know the Living construct has Metaphasic shields and somehow survived the supernova!( similar to the Borg Drone on Voyager named "One") Oh and How could Murf POSSIBLY get into Starfleet( as one of the 5) ?! He doesnt talk! How can you be a mute and join Starfleet Academy.?! for a plan hatched 50 years in the future. one would assume that the planners of this mission to destroy Atarfleet would figure once a ship was infected, it would infect others by itself alone ( without the protostar. And the crew was pretty damn smart, why didnt they simply make a shuttle and get off the damn infected Protostar anyway from day one?!? Makes no sense. and also the shuttle was made by the Protostar( which was infected with the construct!) wouldnt that shuttle ALSO be a starfleet killing weapon? wouldnt the makers of the construct PLAN on that contingency? ) just LAZY LAZY WRITING. it makes no sense. All of it. such a shame..... perfect season ruined by the ending... here we go. its Enterprise "These are the VOYAGES all over again! F U Parmount!!! This was all set to be the best Trek since Lower Decks, DS9 and TNG and they blew it in the last 22 min"
1. Ensign Asencia was unaware of the fact that the virus written into Janeways code had been purged.
2. He tried in every way except destroying the ship. By the time they found out about the construct. They'd already bonded with Janeway. Destroying the ship meant destroying her and their only reliable way to federation space. Plus Janeway had that virus in her code.
3. You realize that people who are mute exist... right? We haven't heard him speak, but we've heard him sing. Plus he clearly understands language even if he can't speak. If they can help LaForge see. They'll find a way to allow him to communicate.
4. The original plan was for the Vau N'akat to retain control of the Protostar after activating the weapon. The Federation couldn't destroy the ship. Had they retained control, they weren't going to destroy the ship. So it didn't matter if that's how the weapon could be stopped.
5. Janeway wouldn't let them destroy the ship because of the virus in her programming and there's an entire episode devoted to them trying to leave the ship behind.
6. The destruction of the construct means even if the shuttle was infected. The weapon was neutralized.
7. They had multiple contingencies in place. The weapon was practically indestructible, the weapon would engage automatically whether the Vau N'akat were aboard or not and Janeway had a virus written into her code to get that ship back to federation space and keep it from being destroyed.

Why would someone who's mute not be able to get into Starfleet? Mute people can do anything anyone else can. We've even seen mute diplomats on Trek before, a role typically defined by the ability to communicate. It would go against the entire mission statement of the franchise if one kind of disability was too far. I'm not sure if Murf is an adult or not and that may affect his chances, but I don't know if that even matters. There's no reason they couldn't join as far as we know. Plus they didn't actually join Starfleet, they're basically being tutored by Janeway. That would solve any inconsistencies if there were any to begin with.
