It's cool you're having fun and all, just sometimes show the respect to the artist. All of these men are college graduates. The guitarist Brian May is a Doctor of Astrophysics and works with NASA when he's not touring the world... yes, Queen is still rocking. Freddy Mercury is no longer with us, but he truly is a music legend. He grew up in a time when it was illegal to be gay and he died just a few years before we discovered adequate treatment for AIDS. It's truly worth listening to their music, and getting to know them... not to mention you probably already have heard several of their songs... I think what is lacking in generations beyond GenX is the ability to hear lyrics of ANY song and interpret them properly. I can hear this song and 100% know what it means. I can hear "Enter Sandman" and 100% understand what it means. I can hear "Dream On" and 100% know what it means. I could tell you what WAP means. I could tell you what any song I hear on the radio right now means. Somehow, that skill has been lost.

Wow, you sure missed the ball on understanding what a musical masterpiece this is. It was created in 1974 and still easily stands the test of time. Way better than most music that has been made since.

FYI: this was one of the first music videos to sell a song..way before MTV..no auto tune ever used by Queen...their songs are well known and used in commercials, t.v.shows, movies, sports...many artists including rapper's and hip hop artists have taken from Queen...their music lives forever and by the way this video has had over a 1.5 billion views

This is Rock from the late '70s the album (a vinyl record) is called Night at the Opera and the song Bohemian Rhapsody is sung like it's a Opera, Rock style.
Basically the story is he killed someone without thinking of the consequences, living his life any way the wind blows and being thoughtless, nothing really matters. He wish he was never born because there's no way to correct taking someone's life, and now he's gone and through his life away. His mama is crying for her son and he is pleading for his life to be let him go, but they will not let him go.
So he's taking a life he can't give back. Now nothing really matters he can't change what he has done. He did not live life strong, mindful and responsible a wind could blow him in any which way it goes.
    Operas are stories of tragedy.

Written/Composed in early 1970’s, Queen was so strong in their convictions of having this released as a single yet, their record company refused, saying it would never be played on the radio. Queen walked away from their record company. To date, Bohemian remains the greatest Rock Opera and is still played on the radio.

This song was written by Freddy Mercury and its 3 different parts of different songs he encouraged them to merge together. Everyone was against it...but as we can see... it shows Freddy's genius. Anytime Queen or Temptation song comes on in the car, I will not leave the car until its over. THAT IS THE RESPECT I give to such masterpieces.

Enjoyed this video so much. You guys are real. Bohemian Rhapsody was composed as an "Opera" grand scheme - sweeping sets of color, light and performance of inner angst and just flipping fun. All Opera is farce and tragedy and light. Listen with your eyes closed to the harmonies. All voices in the very beginning are Freddie Mercurie's voice. He is also the composer. Boho is a performance piece. Freddie was first and foremost an artist who insisted that performance is part of the piece. All that being said, never listen just once - and never break up the piece for anything other than your reaction's - which are priceless. Thanks for the entertainment.

That entire opening sequence of harmonies were all done by Freddie Mercury alone by layering multiple tracks of himself. The man was a musical genius.
