You know who Queen is. You just don’t know you know. We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust. All four members of the band wrote massive hits.
Before you can truly understand and respect Queen, you need to know their history. Queen was the first band to cross genres, they revolutionize music videos, changed rock and roll, and Freddie was the greatest show man that ever was! Their music has been played more over the years then any other band.

Prince aka THE PURPLE ONE and Queen hit the Music scene about the same time. Those years were some of the best in the world. Still being sampled to this day. Both Artists are CLASSIC.
Prince and freddie were fans of each other. Freddie made his friends watch Prince concerts on repeat at his parties. Prince wrote a song called "3 Chains of Gold" which was a tribute to Bohemian Rapsody.

One of the greatest rock singers of all time, a guitar player with the tastiest tone on the planet who has a side gig as an astrophysicist, a bass player who played unforgettable lines, and a drummer who both sang and played. They are a unique band in every right, rock and roll royalty. You may not have understood Bohemian Rhapsody, but we did in the 70's. It was an anthem for our generation.
It is nearly impossible not to physically react to this video. You guys are jumping up, shaking your heads, playing air guitar....it draws you in to enjoy the energy. Freddie Mercury's personal story is key to understanding his music. He joined up with Brian May (lead guitar) who has a PhD in astro-physics; drummer Roger Taylor who wrote at least one song on each of their albums, and sang many vocals with the band; and John Deacon on bass, who quietly influenced their unique sound as a self-taught electrical engineer. But the central player was always Freddie, whose on-stage front man performances were legendary. He engaged huge audiences like a classical conductor. Watch him on Live Aid. Oh, I'm glad you appreciate May's guitar solos. It's a rule...do not ever pause while he's playing! Finally, there are several generations of folks who know all the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody. Mama Mia!!!! Let him go!!

There’s a reason people say that Queen’s performance at Live Aid 1985 was the greatest rock performance of all time. If these guys watched it, they would agree. We all know that they would recognise at least 3 of the songs even if they go in to it thinking they won’t. I wonder if they’ll ever react to it though..
The take away for you would be THEY SWITHCHED UP THE FLOW AGAIN. That is their sound - always a surprise. Check out ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST (the official video OR if you can manage to sit in your seats for the live version at Wembly 1986(: MJ told them to release it as a single and it soared and charted everywhere. The video has the track from the album and many hearing them for the first time thought they were a Black group - some reactions on RUclips said the same...exactly the sound Freddie and John (the bass player) wanted to capture.
I lost it with dude dancing to "Don't Stop Me Now. But BoRap isn't Queen's best song. By far, it's "Somebody To Love"... live Montreal. Most musicians can't do that song because of the changes musically and vocally. You should check out the original studio version as well. Freddie's voice is so much better than MJ and he's got a much wider vocal range. He's also got that perfect rock raspiness when he pulls it.
The only comment that takes the piss out of a great band you have no idea about this band they have gone down in history as one of the greats if you can't say anything nice keep your opinions to yourself the bands today are not worhy of even licking their boots
I’m sorry you got such bad comments on your last video. Bohemian Rhapsody is one that can be confusing, if you aren’t familiar with the band. The good thing is Queen is a genre in itself! They have such a huge library, and almost every song is it’s own style. They are not like any other band out there. I know I already suggested Somebody to Love live in Montreal. Under Pressure live at Wembley is real good, too. Really, anything they do live is good! The Show Must Go On, Who Wants To Live Forever…. I can keep going! Lol
The guitarist Brian May has his Masters as a astro-physicist and at the beginning he and his daddy made his guitar, the "Red Special." They all had college degrees. Freddie designed their logos. The more you listen, the more you want to hear !!!
If you want to understand the love for Queen watch the crowd singing Bohemian Rapsody whist waiting for Green Day to come on stage, Freddie topped the bill 30 years after he died x
Huge Queen fan here, loved your last reaction to the band. Ignore the easily offended and the elitist that are part of every genre of music and band, and just continue being yourselves.
The beat from Under Pressure song by Queen actually inspired Vanilla Ice (XD) and Another One Bites the Dust inspired MC Hammer's Let's Get It Started (that eventually got "rehashed" by the Black Eyed Peas with a completely different arrangement and rhythm).
I said it in your last reaction you have to do somebody to love 1981 in Montreal you will looking Freddy's so different you'll see how mazing his voice is
Queen is the name of the entire band. As easy as it is to just focus on the singer, the other band members contributed to their music as much as he did.
Be fair they have only responded to two songs and both composed by Freddie apart from Brians solo The focus will always be on the singer and song unless something stands out which is usually the solo If they weren't great musicians then they wouldn't enjoy the music, song as much Fair enough a different group performing the song aren't usually as good But unless you are really into, knowledge about music you enjoy it as a whole rather than picking up on individual things
Are you familiar with "Ice,Ice Baby"? The bass line was stolen from this band who had a huge hit with it 9 years before, called " Under Pressue" Vanilla Ice was a big loser when taken to court by Queen and David Bowie's attorneys. The gentleman in the hood needs to dump the two fools until they can open their minds and ears and shut their mouths. You can watch Queen' at Wembley 1986 with a sold out audience of 72,000 both nights. Michael Jackson was a big fan, did duets with Freddie and was influenced by Freddie and Queen

This is my favorite Queen song, so I’m glad your reaction was better than the classic Bohemian Rhapsody. Piece of advice though, never pause in the middle of a Brian May guitar solo. That is considered a sin with Queen fans.
You should react to the movie about the group - its called Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), and it's definitely worth the watch. It will answer a lot of the questions you have about their music, and show you why they have such a big influence to this day.
These songs are artistic dramatic epic and well...Freddie lived like Mr Spectacle, performed like he took no prisoners..gotta be the most live event played songs in all of recorded history.

React to Queen “Somebody to Love” live in Montreal 1981. Live Aid 1985. “Who Wants to Live Forever” / “I Want to Break Free” together. “Love of My Life” live.
Freddy Mercury is legendary. He died of Aids years ago. Adam Lambert has been Queen's front man for several years. All four original members were Rhodes Scholars. Brains and talent. They recorded some of the greatest anthems ever. Check out their performance at the Live-aid concert.
So many good songs. I grew up listening to rock and watched the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, and was shocked to discover all of the songs that I knew, but didn’t realize were theirs. (I was born in 1985 for reference.) Definitely eclectic and can understand a puzzled reaction at first, but the more you learn about them, and the more songs you hear of theirs, the more impressed and appreciative you will be of their body of work. Such a wide range and very creative. As others have mentioned, there are so many songs, some which you are bound to already know - We will rock you, we are the champions, somebody to love, my best friend, another one bites the dust, killer queen, crazy little thing called love, under pressure, etc.
Realize the musical awesomeness of RUSH. 3 Canadians, one of the worlds top 3 drummers, a poet of a lead guitarist, and a drummer/keyboardist with the Rock voice and lyrical palette beyond the pale.
*To understand Queen a bit better before you dive into more of their songs: Watch the video of them performing at Live Aid July 1985. Then you will see how great they were, how they affected fans and how fans reacted and loved Queen*
They’re one of the greatest bands ever, they’ve made some of the greatest songs ever. You roasted them and are surprised that their legions of fans were upset about it? If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all just don’t act surprised if you shit on something billions of people enjoy and they start shitting on you for not liking it.
And Under Pressure. Queen and David Bowie. You know Queen. And you guys are very socially conscious, so just look up Freddie Mercury and you'll understand the band name, why he chose to write the songs he wrote (Fat Bottomed Girls) and what a genius he was. Also, many have mentioned, this was the age of Rock Opera. Check out The Who. Teenage Wasteland (not rock Opera, but they did Tommy)
Freddy Mercury and Queen are one of the best groups of the 70's-80's and yes...I love Prince too! You have to have grown up in the 70's-80's to really appreciate them.
Don't worry about comments! First time I saw Bohemian Rhapsody, I was like..."What in the hell?!" And is there really a car full of Canadians banging out to that? But then every time afterwards, when I heard that song...I was more and more addicted to those notes! :D And Yeah! Queen had some INSANE energy! Every show! These members were CRAZY talented!
You know who Queen is. You just don’t know you know. We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust. All four members of the band wrote massive hits.
My best friend…. I think one of the BEST lines is being happy at home.
Fat Bottom Girls!

You know Queens"we will rock you ", and "we are the champions ".
This is my favorite Queen song by far, and I loved watching you guys react to it 😊
Realize the musical awesomeness of RUSH. 3 Canadians, one of the worlds top 3 drummers, a poet of a lead guitarist, and a drummer/keyboardist with the Rock voice and lyrical palette beyond the pale.
I love how natural all the reactions are!
White Queen, 1975, Odeon-Hammersmith; Crazy Little Thing Called Love; Love of My Life -- All really good songs by Queen.
Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls (Official Video)
Followed by the live version at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982 ! Must do both!
Yeah. That's a compliment. Freddy is the white Prince, and Prince is the black Freddy. I can't imagine a better comparison. Two geniuses.
He night only played piano while singing this song he STOOD at the piano singing this song. SPECTACULAR
FANTASTIC! THE BEST REACTION TO QUEEN I’VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!😍😍😍Keep up the great work guys! (With biden too😉)
*To understand Queen a bit better before you dive into more of their songs: Watch the video of them performing at Live Aid July 1985.
Check out Queen live!!!
1. Fat bottomed girls live at Bowl 82
2. Under pressue live at Wembley 86
3. Somebody to love Montreal 81
This song has been scientifically tested and the results were that it will make anyone feel pure happiness. And it shows on your reactions
His name is Freddie Mercury, the lead singer
I listen to this whenever i need a lift! And, yes I agree, Fat Bottomed Girls should be next! It's fun to watch this through your eyes. Thanks, guys
