  • Phone link (formerly known as the 'your phone' app) is a powerful solution that integrates your phone with your pc. It works with most brand of phone, but it really shines when you pair it with one from Samsung, or now, Microsoft. So let's take a look at how it works...

I love it on my Duo2. It allows me to do a lot more - via my desktop, instead of working on a phone screen. I use it as a video source in OBS too

Hey Brett. I'm looking forward to hearing your views on the updates to OneNote desktop. Not all the updates have come through to mine even though I'm in Beta, but it's looking very promising.

Hey guys! Awesome content. Quick question on the phone link app - can you use your Surface Duo 2 as a writing tool/tablet (think of Wacom) during presentations through this app if you use Google Meets and share your screen?

I am thinking about buying a new phone. The choices are the surface duo 2, s22 ultra or z fold 3. My actual phone is a Samsung note 10 lite that is well integrated with the PC. My daily PC its a surface laptop 4 i7, wich i love and make me feel to choose the surface duo 2. But there are so many bad opinions of the surface that make me hesitating.

Get the Duo2. It's that easy. Leave the others for the herd

Hi guys - love your videos. I just got my Surface Duo 2 from Amazon US and am having trouble connecting to 5G on Telstra. From the specs I see on the MS page, there is only one version of the Surface Duo (apart from colour and storage), so the standard 5G frequencies appear to support Telstra. Have you guys got any experience using it with Telstra's 5G?

Yeah, I'm using Telstra 5G. No problem with mine. Might be an issue with Telstra settings.

@@oztabletpc Yes - it is my company SIM and wasn't enabled for 5G. It is now!

@@oztabletpc one thing that still isn't working for me is WiFi calling. Should it work even though the Duo 2 is not an officially supported device by Telstra?

    Dear gurus of the duo.
Can you run microsoft sharepoint on the duo whithout app crash?
For an enterprise phone this function seems as important as teams or outlook.

I've heard of issues. I've had a lot of similar issues with the office app too! Most of them have been resolved now. Only thing I can suggest is to submit feedback. It will be reviewed.

Apps don't show up on the My Phone App on my PC. Is this only a function if you have a Surface Duo 2?

I an struggling to find the Duo 2 content. I was expecting, installation, set-up, and use of the duo 2 on a PC. This was very generic and centred on the app, Disappointed.
