I just learned about Microsoft phone link today. I initially had dell mobile connect which is scheduled to be discontinued this year. I now have Microsoft phone link and I like it way better and I have an all in one computer

I can't find that "link to windows" option in the dropdown menu. Its apparently not available in Android 13/14.
I have a Samsung S8 and it has a software 9 version but I do not have "link to windows" that option to sync to pc in that drop-down area of settings. Is it because my phone service sent me a different sim card so I can operate smoothly with 5 G speeds.

The latest version of phone link does not allow me to turn off the left notification panel

any way to keep connected after locking phone? after i lock my phone, the windows phone link goes black and it says "unlock on your device to keep your credentials private and secure"
kinda defeats the whole point of having my phone mirrored on pc if i need to keep the phone unlocked
It also works on PC's connected thru the ethernet, I've tried it and it works perfectly. And as for calls, my HP PC don't have a Bluetooth so i bought a Bluetooth dongle (USB) and it works fine, since I have already upgraded to windows 11, other brands can now also be connected even an iPhone.

@@DoveNative Not sure what type of magical ethernet y'all have but it doesn't work here. PC is wired to router and phone is on WiFi- no dice.

Hi Everyone, I like the App, the challenge i am facing is when ever i make call i have to go manually select the bluetooth headphones on the mobile itself, is there a way to use the same headset on pc for the calls, and also when i make call from windows it always say " Call on Phone ", any advice would be highly appreciated

Is this feature not available for desktops that are using ethernet, as u have to have both devices on WiFi?
It works on my HP Desktop connected to my router thru ethernet, and as for call on my PC, I installed a Bluetooth dongle thru USB port, its working perfectly!
