It is digital and physical. I got the physical, but you definitely do not need it. I am an old school d&d guy from the late 70s when I played so this one takes away the huge books and scales it down to a nice variable rpg. And the dice mechanics are great.
You added two, but you should have had 3, so one could have gotten you a cohort, which could have prevented a damage from the Picts. Overall, though, you did a good job in showing how the game plays.
