Turkey Soup | Leftover Turkey Soup

  • Hey Guys! Todays video is Turkey Soup. I'll be showing you how to use your leftover turkey for soup. You can add any type of seasoning and vegetables that you prefer. The soup is ready in about 1 hour and will surely warm you up in the cold season.

    Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    3 celery stalks
    3 carrots
    3 green onion (scallion)
    ¼ cup flour
    1 tsp garlic (minced)
    turkey pieces (meat & bones)
    8-9 cups hot water
    2 bouillion cubes (chicken or vegetable)
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 ½ tsp garlic powder
    1 ½ tsp onion powder
    1 tbsp all-purpose seasoning
    4-5 whole allspice
    3 sprigs tyme
    1/3 cup parsely (chopped)
    ½ tbsp red chili flakes (optional) add as much or as little as you like
    salt to taste
    5-6 potatoes (cut into pieces)
    dumplings (optional)

    Hey, I just used this recipe and am eating my soup right now. It’s actually really good! I don’t have all spice or all purpose seasoning and just substituted those for a litttttle bit of sage instead so it’s not exactly the recipe but it’s yummy. Thanks!!

    I'm going to make this, I just happen to have all the ingredients even the potatoes, I have left over Turkey from Christmas and I just know this is simple enough and is going to taste amazing!!!

    I love this recipe I didn’t add dumplings to it but I did add some of my leftover turkey gravy to it and it was perfect

    how do you do your dumplings? they look tasty!

      I just use flour with a bit of salt and enough water to make a soft dough

    Looks great but id worry about shards of bone without having every strained it.

      Feel free to remove the bones...I'm Caribbean we usually leave our bones in the soup 😆. Thanks for watching

      I was looking for a recipe that uses the bones because I didn't know if I wanted to pick out all the bones

      @@mamaseasykitchen I boil everything down, but strain before adding extra ingredients, aren't you scared of a bone ending up in someone's soup if you don't take them out first?

    ??? OK this seems like New England, everything that you used, change nothing but hold the Turkey and Dumpling, and add fish, your soup is flawless try the fish.........see ya BB
