During the Freestar Ranger quest line I was disappointed that Marco's ship was not stealable. That was a cool luxury ship
Yeah i tried so hard to steal it
Same
Hopefully someone mods it
@@outland2874everyone had to try stealing it LOL
At least put it on sale at the ship builder.
I was literally looking for a cockpit for at least 5 minutes after the fight
I like how you narrate this video like you’re selling these ships to prospective buyers
I would love to see like a dreadnought ship build guide. Big ship, big guns, almost invulnerable shields and max crew size.
I absolutely agree, though that might partly be because Im a huge fan of the Battlecruiser from Starcraft like the Hyperion.
Hey Fudgemuppet, for another ship build could you guys try to make a military/tactical ship build? Love your videos guys ❤
That's what I'm talking about! A ship made to tear through Spacers and pirates with impunity, with a swashbuckling, cutlass-swinging, pistol-weilding captain who'd make even FudgeMuppet's pirate build sweat cannonballs!
Colony Wars UC veteran build when lol. Former UC marine/pilot who got honorably discharged following the colony wars because the UC didn't need as many soldiers as they did during the war. He decides that he's too young to retire on his UC pension and decides to apply for Argos as he misses the hard work. He's excited to get involved in constellation as working with them reminds him of working in a team again. He happily joins the UC Vanguard to relive his youth.
Maybe take inspiration from submarine warfare? Other than fighter pilots, they're the only military force that has to fight in 3 dimensions. The Hopetech interiors give off that vibe. Maybe take a look at The Hunt for Red October for some inspiration on weapons types and placement.
I have to say, I like ship builds that use a majority of parts from one or two manufactures. I know that limits the creativity a bit, but it makes them so much easier to build. Also, really looking forward to the next build!
I kinda agree, kinda. Yeah, they look more aesthetically pleasing and you know what's what, but at the same time it does limit creativity. I'm personally waiting to hit 4th rank in ship building, but I also hear some experimental parts aren't even unlocked until like lvl50-60!!! I'm planning on building a massive dreadnaught of sorts with hardcore everything
I never thought ship building would be so fun
Todd Head still delivers the goods
I have found that the placement of windows and doorways affects the internal parts of the habitat modules. So if you are missing beds, bathrooms, galleys, tables, etc. it is due to their use. To see this for yourself, try a quick and simple test by removing some of the windows and then revisiting your ship. You will be amazed at what is now there. I tend to use only top (ceiling) windows myself as a result my testing as they tend to affect nothing.
It’s kinda funny, this is the polar opposite direction than what I did for my Ronin character. My character’s ship is fairly small and extremely utilitarian, most because it fits a more dark and brooding lone wolf kinda character.
Yeah mine is more of a rough and heavily weaponized ship because my ronin is more of a merc than stealthy assassin. It will be fun to see how different our ronin builds are going to be.
Out curiosity are you using the Isolation skill for your 'lone wolf'? If so how is it?
@chadharger9323 I am planning on using it, but I haven’t had the spare perk points to invest in it yet. I am using Introvert, and having extra oxygen is always nice.
I love these ship videos, they’re a taste of what builds are next to come!
A list of the parts used in each ship would have being very useful here.
In a game where one can get married and travel with their spouse, I'd just be happy with an option for a double bed.
People are doing amazing with mods even as it is.
When the Creation Kit drops next year starfield is gonna explode and they're gonna get weird with it. People making custom ship modules is going to be nice
I look forward to that.
All I need is nice structural pieces to encase the ship hab modules and hide this modular look to these ships.
Say, Millennium Falcon structural pieces for a better circular and angular forms.
After the creation kit is dopped its gonna be fun to build ships😎😎
I made an morally ambiguous Operative character named Takahashi Saito. Made a small, oval shaped ship that I named the Scarab to go along with him. I tried to make it look organic in its outline, while also making it very militaristic. My idea being that an operative wants to lay low as best they can, and a sleek, dark ship does that by far the best.
A luxury set for the shipyard is a must. Make that with big windows.
Great video!
The first one is similar to the Ecliptic Stiletto I captured in my current playthrough. I added the same additions you did. I made it green. I called it the Eel.
I was looking for something like a mix of this and the Pirates ship for my Warlord build something to show my wealth but also big and imposing.
Got to love the irony of building a ship with luxury vibes entirely out of Taiyo habs because they look nicer on the outside and what's the first thing you see when you go up the ladder? Scuff marks on the floor and walls of a brand new ship, along with what appears to be some sort of stain left behind when something was dragged down the wall leading into the living quarters. I love the overall design, don't get me wrong, but I genuinely feel like Stroud habs look better inside and out and the interiors have the bonus of matching the colour scheme of your sword more closely.
Cool stuff! Kinda curious to see what y'alls take on a beast hunter/space survivalist ship would be? I'd imagine it would need the right balance of compact mobility and storage/weapons.
Something you might want to mention is the minimum level that the parts you suggest all become available.
Many will soon discover that many parts are PC Level Locked and wonder why they can’t see/buy them.
I LOVE the Taiyo parts! I've used them to create a submarine-inspired ship: Red Typhoon. Over 4500 cargo capacity, nearly 1900 mass, yet still capable of 140 speed and just under 70 mobility.
Thanks, this video really helped me trim the fat... I was so close. Same ship, and I was really close to that 2nd biuld, and I could have spent a lot more creds to figure it out. Took a break and saw this. Big help.
Customized my B class ship from luklund and its amazing in all black with 2 mess halls 😍 now my crew roam everywhere and NOT BLOCK THE ENTRANCE TO THE DAMN COCKPIT.
This is an amazing build. All of them. I liked the last one the best ❤
You got the best of stroud and Taiyo for sure! I just did my first taiyo build tonight and I’ll never use another captains quarters. Awesome build
Who else feels that they should be able to decorate the interior of the ship like you can with an outpost?
I think the player home system would work great idk if is the same as outpost building as ive never tried it but that would be dope
As a FO4 and FO76 player, I was sad to see we couldn't customize the interiors on our ships. I'd love to place collectibles and decorations and things.
@@Phoenix197you can kind of already do that but if you edit the ship at all it throws it all in your cargo hold and possibly even deletes some of it.
Can't wait for the mod tools to come out, bet we can build something like the Fortuna eventually :)
I love the second design and am now using a modified version for my Operative/smuggler character. I made it slightly longer adding shielded cargo scan jammers & crafting habs.
The color sceme is straight out of the second wave of LEGO Space and i love it.
I’d really like to see you do more ship builds. To go along with solid character builds maybe mid to late game suggestions. I was hoping to see more from the community but it’s not quite there yet. Please and thank you 😉
It’s so weird that Taiyo is supposed to be the luxury brand, but it’s interiors are identical to the HopeTech ships, which is the opposite.
Im going to try and replicate the Correlian Corvette and your fist ship build is a good starting point for me, its very star wars in design.
I have a very similar ship from when i hijacked an Ecliptic's ship. Time to get to work on my ship!
I have not play this game myself, but I love watching videos about it, such as this one.
I take it your ship can perfectly represent the build that you've made your character, right? No wonder Bethesda made the excellent decission in giving its players the opportunity to go into extreme detail when building their ships. I'm looking forward to see FudgeMuppet character builds in where both character and ship will unite in showing different playstyles for this game.
there are three types of habs I want to see.
1, Luxury interiors like you said.
2. Two story habs with balconies and stairs or even just a stair section. The only two story piece right now is the nova-galatic large bridge.
3. Pirate or other type interiors that are more cluttered and pieced together.
Numbers 1 and 3 could be done by having an interior design switch or vendor.
Overall need more interior styles. as it is there are several repeats between manufacturers with slight color and lighting changes.
I would’ve thought that a Cyberrunner would’ve been a good Ryujin Operative, if you ever make a Cyberrunner ship I can imagine it having a lot of control stations, computer cores and battle stations
Sorry to ask but what’s a cyber runner? 😅
@@joshuahicks8511 it’s one of the backgrounds you can choose
@@scyobiempire4450 ok thanks
A 15 minute video with 3 ship builds!? You spoil us Fudgemuppet!
that luxo ship was nice been debating building a nice C class ship for a couple days now.
You make some sick ships👍 I love bounty hunter one anf fixing to buil it. Thanks
I really hope that you can do another Starfield ship build video soon mainly I would love to see a Millennium Falcon inspired smuggling ship or a Nostromo inspired cargo ship
I think it better to make Cruise Liner with several decks. Lower one is for cockpit, and you have a ladder to passenger levels. And you can also use Nova Crossways - they add lux vibe.
I hate the ladders. I want more multi-deck options (the cockpit is awesome) with stairs!!
I would love to see your interpretation of an upgraded razorleaf the ship you get from the Mantis side quest. I just love the starfighter feel of that ship but I'm not quite creativ enough to enhance and expand upon its design
I hear two ships & something else after 😂. Thx for further idea's of ship designs & a great video
Fdddk yeah let’s go good work team always and I’m loving loving starfield 120 hours in and slowly doing the story hahaha thank you again
Hey Fudgemuppet, loving the build vids. Just hoping a Varuun style build will come out in the near future.
Jiraiya is also from Japanese folklore, same with Tsunade and Orochimaru and a BUNCH of other characters and stuff in Naruto, so don’t worry about it
I prefer the Nova Galactic 2x2 Living Quarters over the Straud Eklund one. The Nova Galactic one has a couch with a TV (wish you could watch TV on it). Has a weight bench as well as a pool table. Looked like the best place a large crew could relax and socialize.
I think a fun idea to alter the last luxury cruise design would be having a side docker that connects into the passenger section. With the idea being that you would pick up passengers in a spaceport, they would enter from the side docker, never have to use any ladders, or go through any crew areas. The crew and Captains would enter and exit through the landing bay when the ship lands for refueling. But your typical passenger pickups would occur that is space station, where they would use some sort of small shuttle to go from planet to station. And then they would board the cruise line.
I love your ships man please more more more, I really want to see a star trek enterprise equivalent
I love these videos
Bro I love these videos
You can actually make the C class version of this as A class. Its just that youll glitch the white dwarf 3000 engines and settle for class A modules (probably glitch the ones needing starship design). Very lore rich ship build. I love it!
Nice, I’m currently doing a corporate character, mako II fully tricked out but looking stock
Looking forward to your Ronin Build
Great video showcasing some very good designs, so here I am once again today spending most my time in game building more ships by Fudgemuppet....... This is a good thing though, ship building is just so much fun.
Definitely would love a video on bare bones Industrial/Mining style ships.
Awesome ship tour! I hope to see more! Are you using an effect on the interior walk-through parts? Why does it look so good?
Sheesh. Looks good
Thank you
I love this Video. Super Präsentation. I buy all 3 😂😂
i like how when you're flying there's no point. it's just a suspended empty void. that's really cool
You should put the ship IN their respective build videos since they are essentially player homes that are customized for roleplaying. nomsayin
Darken the yellow from base and it turns into gold. I somewhat copied this ship but added my favorite engines and wings (keeping everything rounded) named it the Gilgamesh
So good to see so many vids being uploaded!
First!
first time I stepped on the Fortunna ship my reaction went something like " holy crap this is a ship? can I get it?" The problem in Starfield is that you can't have a luxury ship and have smaller ships for defense, basically whatever ship you have has to at minimum be able to grav jump away quickly from random enemy ship encounters.
also Taiyo is best!
Now I want to try my hand in something luxury. I'm thinking a 3 tier massive pontoon boat shape. Utilizing those thin passage ways or hab hallways, whatever you call them with some braces. 3 by 3 mess hall center and 2 by 1 pontoons on the outside. 2 story. With the vista cockpit. Add a 2 by 2 battle stations on the 1st floor center with the hope tech captain's quarters next to the 2 by 2. Control habs in the center 1st floor with living quarters on the pontoons with armory and some kind of observation hab.... somewhere
That was really cool, I feel like I need to go to a dealership now😅
Amazing guide as always! I was just wondering if it would be possible to add the total credit cost for the next one? Just to have a budget idea
The Stroud-Eklund habs are probably more for "luxury" when you think about it. It's the only hab company that has a 2x2 living quarters that's arranged like someone's lounge area that I know of.
You could try your hand at a capital ship. A somewhat dated but illustrious veteran with a similar owner.
These ships will go great with my vigilante Ronin type. He's taken the role of The Mantis after finding her old lair and modified her ship to be more deadlier (and kinda looks like a bat, not intentional.) But he does need a sleeker ship for traveling around not as his vigilante persona.
I wish we got something like elite dangerous where you can operate a tourist ship, or transport people from star to star
Such sweet looking builds. I wonder how the color schemes would look if they emulated the multi-billion dollar mega yachts that folks like Bezos have. They tend to be like either pure white with subtle color accents or imposing black. The mega yacht tour videos on RUclips are crazy :-)
1st ship is minimum level 17 for all the listed modules. Min level 43 for the 2nd one and at least level 53 for the last one. I wish they would include this info.
Where do you find that info in the first place
@@sus425Looking up the level requirement for the parts used. I understand why they'd limit high tier reactors for higher level characters, but I wish if you had the highest tier of ship design you'd get access to level locked parts earlier or something.
I love how Taiyo is basicly Iphone, looks really sleek and modern on the outside, but the interior is kinda dated xD
(and in a loading screen tip they say "Taiyo has some really dedicated fans, that faithfully waits for next years model with excitment")
Looks like a Va'ruun cruiser. "The Serpent will eat your soul!!!"..." is the shrimp fresh?"
The bones are in place with this game. What we need is a DLC or big mod on the order of Sim Settlements. Call it Starfield Tycoon. Basically, Railroad Tycoon 3's gameplay on this setting, using industrial hauling ships instead of trains. Start a company, find your first hauling jobs on the open mission terminals, but looking to secure dedicated contracts. Expand by buying more ships, securing more customers, play the stock market and compete against rival fright companies through legal or illegal methods.
Question.... are you able to add storage chests to the interior of the ship? It would be so cool to have that first room off the landing bay lined with storage crates along all 4 walls! I am asking for a friend who is a HUGE HOARDER! You know the type picks up everything of value and is aways over encumbered... LOL 😂
The flying in the first 8 seconds was sexy
I made the bigger ship build and like it. Something that might be nice is where you built the ship and slow down while talking and highlight each piece when you talk about it for us slower yanks. I'm going to build the C class ship next. Thank you for your time. It is greatly appreciated. I rp a disgruntled UC captain that has gone private contractor
It would be nice if one of the mods or updates include actually furnishing and detailing the interior of the ships more. Maybe even crewing up a chef or some other non-systems support crew.
And we should be able to have people in our ship like hosting parties… idk would be fun lol
Black with gold, like the grip and saya (just means scabbart) of a katana, i have seen a couple of those by now and it looks really good. Very appropraite for a Samurai/Ronin build.
And nice development from A to C, it gives a good impression of the character you have in mind.
man I just started a character and he looks almost EXACTLY like your Ronin 😅
A Build I’d like to see is a Mantis build.
I'd prefer one of the Red Devils from the vanguard quest line.
Soldier background, UC native etc.
Im space Batman!
I'll try remember tomorrow. I altered mine a lot. 8 forward particle gun, 2 aft turrets just in case. Class c reactor putting out 37 energy. It packs one heck of a punch for where I am right now.
After we had a character for all the other Factions the next one have to be a UC Captain :D
Have you done one for us humble space truckers yet?
I just remade the rocinante and i havent moved ship since. Its a class C ship with 12 particle turrets
The Assurance SG-1800 actually has way more shield health than the 3000. In fact, the 1800 is the shield with the highest absoulte shield health in the game.
Yay a melee build
What outfit is your character wearing in this video, and where do you get it? It looks great.
Would like to see a space scoundrel ship build
I can't wait for a mod that lets you build on your ships, allowing us to place our own furniture and decorations
I love the ship building .... and hate it. : ) Just when I have a cool idea, I find the parts I see on NPC ships are not available to me.
I like the hunter-style Ronin ship, just like I used the Star Eagle for most of my original playthrough (supplanted by the Kepler R).
Personally I'm now playing at both ends of the size spectrum: tiny figher / shuttle ships and luxo-sized liners
-->The stuff we see and can't have sure looks like a Hearthfire-type DLC. I think of the Fortuna and Vlad's house and say "Yep, they're going to charge for that" :p
DLC wise, we'll get the story expansion, so it may introduce a couple new ships and parts nothing much, we'll get a house varun type DLC (similar to dawnguard and knights of the nine) you 'll join a joint UC and freestar faction a power that was around in the serpents crusade but was later disbanded and is now been rebuilt we'll get two or three ship DLC's so one of them may be a trident DLC
Literally building this the exact way you have, but its saying my cockpit isnt connected to my landing bay lol, love Bethesda bugs.
I have been watching you for years and just now realized that I haven’t subscribed I apologize
This is almost exactly like my ship, which I built from and Eclipse Bayonet
I named mine THE GOLDEN LANCE because it was gold and grey
I also play as a money making corpo
The video is almost tailor made for me / after me
Please do a space trucker build with a space truck ship!!!
God i really wish Bethesda add trident luxury ship parts coz I really want to see some habs that are designed for nothing but making your ship look like a 5 star hotel of sorts
I love that its called jiraiya xd
