Me too, I think there’s different ways to do a bounty hunter as well, like a western style bounty hunter that uses revolvers, shotguns, and rifles, or a high tech bounty hunter, more akin to a mandalorian, that uses all the advanced technology available to them. And both of these would be really cool.
This needs a cargo hall that's basically littered with piles of plunder. Could even be dynamic according to the total value of your cargo hold. Modders can make this happen.
Depending on how you mean, you can drop stuff in your ship and it will stay there (I'm sure if you change ships, this won't be the case but I haven't tested it), so that's a possibility.
Amazing design! It would be nice to see in the future smaller ships, kinda for like a stealth character, something elegant, high mobility compact but with some fire power and shielded cargo to do regular bounty missions. Im currently customizing the mantis ship, trying to not add additional habs since i want it to be as clean and elegant as possible.
The thought of sky pirates reminded me of something and gave me mayor nostalgia: Disneys TaleSpin! The fictional Conwing L-16 is unarmed, but would be an interesting motive/inspiration. You could use it for a "medium" trucker kind of build.
I NEED a more sloop-like pirate ship build! It even fits with the pirate build because historically Calico Jack and his companions Mary Read and Anne Bonny sailed and raided on a sloop! I feel like this ship fits the Queen Anne’s Revenge or Royal Fortune more than the William (Rackham’s sloop). When Rackham became a captain he commanded an English prize vessel named Kingston as a part of Charles Vane’s fleet, but by the time Rackham and Bonny returned to piracy (following Vane’s death and Rackham’s brief vacation on Providence Island where he met Bonny) they had stolen the William from port in New Providence. Shortly after, Mary Read joined the crew which numbered less than 20 men. Funny enough, following the crew’s capture and Rackham being sentenced to death Anne Bonny, the mother of Rackham’s only recorded child, said “if you had fought like a man you wouldn’t be hanged like a dog” due to the cowardly actions Rackham took during the fight where he and the rest of the crew (excluding Read, Bonny, and one other man) hid below decks following a night of partying with local turtle fishermen. Rackham was relatively small time compared to the likes of Edward Thatch (or Teach depending on who you ask) or Black Bart Roberts. Blackbeard, despite his reign of terror lasting only 15 months, gained notoriety for his appearance and reputation which was by design. His ship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge, was famous due to a. His iconic flag and b. It’s MASSIVE 40 cannon armament. The king of pirates however, Black Bart Roberts, commanded a ship named the Royal Fortune whose armament was at minimum 40 cannons, the same as the Queen Anne’s Revenge, and used the behemoth to plunder over 400 ships over the span of 3 YEARS. If you ask me, the ship y’all built for the pirate build much closer represents the infamous Royal Fortune rather than the William or even the Kingston. It is for this reason I must humbly request a more sloop-like ship so I may be a more historically accurate space pirate
I’ve been doing a famous space pirate ex bounty hunter Jackie Sparrow. She loves old world history and music that I play while I fly in space from a soundtrack I made. And she is obsessed with being a great and famous pirate just like her great relative whom her bloodline has always named their children after Captain Jack Sparrow. She’s from Nion where her parents were killed at a young age they were aurora smugglers and space pirates, after they died she was took in by this band of famous bounty hunters that saw her on the streets homeless in neon. After traveling together and being a crew for years they finally had enough of her Illegal activities and committing acts of piracy on her own accord so they marooned her on Vectra where she was forced to become a miner for hire. This ship is perfect i have a ship a named the black pearl but I’m definitely gonna use this ship now.
Really cool build and love to see the interiors as well as exterior. Love this format and yes please I would love to see a more nimble version as I’m planning to play a pirate build after I finish my first playthrough 😁
I love how you organized it into sections in shipbuilder made things much easier to follow along (when you was explaining through the tour i mentally got lost, but to see it made it easier to understand). However i would suggest you state what the total cost to build the ship will be so we dont start building it and it turns out we dont have enough to build it to the full extent in one session (as there is no save in progress ability for shipbuilder)
The ship build is very confusing. What most other channels are doing is that they start from scratch and add one piece at the time to the ship which is much more feasible in a ship crafting guide. I also refuse to believe that this beast only costs 20k. Not all of us are basecrafting so credits actually means something to us. As for the ship design I'm not a fan of the third floor bridge access. A pirate needs to be able to get away as quickly as possible. Not... load cargo faster. It's a space ship. Not a carrack.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this. What makes even more confusing is that Hopetown doesn’t even have some of the stuff for the build so you will be constantly traveling around looking for the right part.
@@SirDogeTheDog and only if you manage to make it fly so you can go and replace parts......first time i am so confused trying to build a ship, the guide is not helping , all parts from different manufacturers are there and there is no clue how to make it and then go and change what is needed elsewhere :/
Love it! For my Crimson Fleet character I was able to capture a bounty hunter stilleto on my first grav jump and ended up steadily customising that into a light fighter throughout the playthrough, slowly cobbling on and upgrading parts until by the end it looked closer to an X-wing but still retained that original ships central look. Of course with a nice new crimson paint job, I thought it was quite thematic!
I know there is a transcript, but it still takes a while to follow and not miss anything. Is there a straight list of parts, or is anyone brave enough to do one?
What an awesome idea. I hadn’t thought of a galleon-style pirate spaceship. I’ve only thought of smaller, more nimble ships. I would absolutely love a military fleet admiral build + ship video(s)

I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that cargo hall habs should add actual cargo capacity to your ship, or at the very least, have an access screen for the cargo hold.

Right warning to everyone do not try this because you literally cannot build it due to having to go to multiple places for all the parts and you cant part build it then go finish it elsewhere so this guy must be using a mod to have all the parts available at one place
Or you steal a rando ship, then go to each of the places individually to add each piece that you can, its a Bethesda game, consecutive fast traveling is not new to us
Just a suggestion but when your putting each level in it would be nice if you did it slower and showed there exact connection points. Had a struggle getting everything to work without the nova parts off the hop
before this game came out, i knew we'd get character builds. but these ship builds are so cool, especially since they pair so good with the character builds. i wonder if a gunslinger ship is coming
I made a starborn build called The Abyss who runs around with a Wakizashi sword only and uses the starborn powers preferably the phased time power, gravity wave and super nova it's really funny to realize u can run around as a multiverse god who can kill u with only a sword before u see the black infinite abyss of death
I really like some of the logic and language choices here, with the deck plan centered around the Cargo Hold and the massed radiator fins as sail surrogates. I also love the overall flow of the interior: some smart choices and real-world logic were applied here. That said, I'm not sold on the intended "age of sail" aesthetic... it's too wide and blocky, more like a pyramid than a sailing ship. On the other hand, if your Pirate was a former Homesteader, I would totally buy this as his idea of a piratical thresher machine :) Personally, I think it would help greatly if the bridge were moved further back: instead of trying to emulate a mast, put it where a ship's wheel would be. It would make the ship's profile appear longer and more ship-like. I would further either move some of the habs inward, or move them outwards on outriggers to further narrow the line of the primary hull. And as much as I love them, I would ditch the Hope 55 Landing Struts for something placed under the ship, again to try to narrow the beam
My build is an Industrialist who has massive outposts all over the Settled systems. Build is essentially like a Corporate Executive, his Ship is a sort of Battleship, Frigate, Destroyer class blend. A real nice looking and feeling Deimos vessel, a Corporate Flagship for my domination and monopolization of the Settled Systems.
I am playing a pirate, I'm not very good at the shooting so far so I've spec'd into shotguns so I can be good at it until I get better. I'm still getting the hang of ship fighting and travel
So, I wanted to find out how much this'd run me and I noticed that the video doesn't actually say, so I made a spreadsheet. Ship consists of ninety-nine parts and would cost around 578, 453 credits to build, give or take. I don't have any skills that might lower prices at the moment, but some of the prices in-game for me differ from what I found online. Either way, call it around 580, 000 to be safe and that way, you'll have a little left over.
@@GBSteven954 Well, I WOULD (and as it happens, I did), but apparently RUclips deletes any comment that includes a link unless it's been posted by the uploader, presumably as a method of removing spam. So... No, I guess is the answer.

Small size for higher mobility, Minimalistic additions, with powerful balanced weapons and strong shields. I’d love to see what you guys can do with that concept!!! Much love
That's a very nice ship build. I wish you would have shown us how it performs in combat. Looks are nice and all, but I'm more worried about functionality.
I like how the docking port blends in with the weapon mounts. - it sends a message. I am just as deadly of a weapon as these big guns. - also if we dock, I can blow up your ship.
I literally spent the past week, hours per day just perfecting 1 ship. Went away from large Class C ships and fell i love with minimal visually pleasing Class B ships with very easy interior navigation and layouts. Only 1 ladder.
So I’m going to say you’ll probably want half a million saved up. It’ll likely land in the low 400 thousands to mid 400 thousands. The cargo alone is 78k. I upgraded to the highest reactor but also have 15% off for commerce. 👍🏽
Ok, this might be a stupid question, but I haven’t watched much of this video at all, I just wanted to make sure I was able to get c-ranked ships, and figure out how to get c-ranked ships, so I just wanted to know if I could just use any rank c ship, or if I had to buy the stronghold in Akila and go from there, I know it’s kinda a stupid question, but I just thought it’d be important to know before I farm for 400,000+ credits for this damn ship and the parts for it 😅
@@Kumurai1it’s been 7 months since you asked but better late than never. I honestly don’t remember, but it’s not too much to worry about. Do a few missions and by the time you’re 10hrs or so into the game, you’ll probably have enough.
He doesn’t mention you need max level piloting and ship building to even attempt. As well as endless patience and credits trying to bounce from town to town in a flyable craft, adding all the parts. It’s a rough build, and frustrating
That's an awesome build but I have my own idea for a pirate ship. A ship based off of a star destroyer but not. Basically a four layer dagger shaped ship with the bridge sitting on top at the aft of the ship. I think Kryx's treasure gave me more than enough I just need starship design 4
Beyond the appearance of sails, the abundance of radiators grants a game universe verisimulitude. The pirates don't have the designers of the big staryards nor the infrastructure of the government factions, so they'd have to "brute force" a lot of their designs. I imagine all those radiators struggling to disperse the immense heat buildup of the inefficient design. Sweaty midshipmen, striped o the waist, trying to keep the engines running as the Captain pushes them beyond their designed operating limits.
I've actually got an idea; Old War Battleship, with a War Veteran Bounty Hunter build. The ship is a Class-C battleship based off of UC ships, while the character is based off of a grizzled, old warrior stereotype, with a focus on ballistic weapons, specifically pistols and sniper rifles. Hope this idea spawns build ideas, Fudgemuppet!
These videos are awesome but unlike games like elite dangerous the amount you use your ship or what it looks like on the inside in this game isn't really important. The flavor is cool and I enjoy the videos but ultimately it doesn't have a big impact on gameplay.
I'm in the process of building this and I'm lost it will only let me put 1 of each nova radiator on, I Am trying to build this while only at level 3 ship building design so I can't tell if that's it
this is amazing! i didn't even know about the cross brace hab i don't think i've ever seen them and if i have then i never figured out what it's use was. now i feel bad lol
Please include the level you need to be to get all the parts for the ship and the overall cost. For everyone else, all the parts will be available at lvl 36, except for the grav drive at lvl 53.
I really like ships with just one level . The one i stole i one ladder in the back . to get to docking and for exiting to planet then a straight hallway all the way to the cockpit no ladders. The ship itself sucks lol bad weapons and shit hull. Need to steal a better one.
You know it would be really nice if you would say at which level you build this and show it part by part cause I am trying to build this and in does not work.
But is there a spaceport that has ALL of these parts so I can build it all in one? This is my main issue with this game. The custom landing pad at outposts have most of the parts but not all of them
#2) Let’s get a money hungry , psychopathic, CEO build. Ruthlessly working his way up from a lowly miner to the head of the most powerful corporation in the universe.

I'm loving the ship build videos, it's probably my favorite part or star citizen
Ah yes, the new release by Bethesda.. Star Citizen..
How do I get the reactor and storage units
That's a very nice ship build. I wish you would have shown us how it performs in combat. Looks are nice and all, but I'm more worried about functionality.
This needed to be built from
The ground up
Nahh, mine was better, smaller, but it visibly matched an ocean going vessel with four mixed broadside turrets on each side, yarr.
Got to be honest the flying at the end is what got me liking this and got the concept. at first I was like it's kind of ugly but then I saw it fly.😂
I like how the docking port blends in with the weapon mounts. - it sends a message.
I am just as deadly of a weapon as these big guns. - also if we dock, I can blow up your ship.
Incredibly hard to follow this
Do A ships with Starship Designer 4.
I literally spent the past week, hours per day just perfecting 1 ship. Went away from large Class C ships and fell i love with minimal visually pleasing Class B ships with very easy interior navigation and layouts. Only 1 ladder.
would love to see a small lone pirate ship. elite private force type of thing
Can someone do the math for me and calculate the cost of this ship? Someone give me a price tag so I know how much to save up!!
I’ll be building it tonight ready for my ng+ I’ll let you know!
So I’m going to say you’ll probably want half a million saved up. It’ll likely land in the low 400 thousands to mid 400 thousands. The cargo alone is 78k. I upgraded to the highest reactor but also have 15% off for commerce. 👍🏽
Ok, this might be a stupid question, but I haven’t watched much of this video at all, I just wanted to make sure I was able to get c-ranked ships, and figure out how to get c-ranked ships, so I just wanted to know if I could just use any rank c ship, or if I had to buy the stronghold in Akila and go from there, I know it’s kinda a stupid question, but I just thought it’d be important to know before I farm for 400,000+ credits for this damn ship and the parts for it 😅
The parts that are only obtainable at certain spots e.g. hopetech. Can we buy them so they appear in a different area that has other parts we want?
Not gona lie. Waited a few weeks unsure if i was gona buy starfield. Then i remembered fudgemuppet. Now i have starfield.
Hold up, you’re planning on making a ship for every build?? Thats insane. So excited to see it all.
I switch the crew & captain quarters around.
1 because I’d like the weight to seem a bit more balanced. 2 I want my captain closer to the loot.
Roughly how many credits is it to build this ship?
@@Kumurai1it’s been 7 months since you asked but better late than never.
I honestly don’t remember, but it’s not too much to worry about. Do a few missions and by the time you’re 10hrs or so into the game, you’ll probably have enough.
It looks like a flying brick
Bro plz do pirate build next
That's a cool design. Ship building is a game in itself. I probably spent more time building ships than doing quests.
No total cost OR shopping list :( I would love to build this ship but remembering where everything is located .. good luck for some of us :( :( :(
He doesn’t mention you need max level piloting and ship building to even attempt.
@-FudgeMuppet1-- What...kiiind of surprise?
So when will we get a proper review from you guys. Cause just listing pros is not a review. It's an honest question Scott and Michael.
These videos are awesome but unlike games like elite dangerous the amount you use your ship or what it looks like on the inside in this game isn't really important. The flavor is cool and I enjoy the videos but ultimately it doesn't have a big impact on gameplay.
I'm in the process of building this and I'm lost it will only let me put 1 of each nova radiator on, I Am trying to build this while only at level 3 ship building design so I can't tell if that's it
He should copy how Minecraft RUclipsrs give building tutorials to show us how to make ships
How much does it cost?
this is amazing! i didn't even know about the cross brace hab i don't think i've ever seen them and if i have then i never figured out what it's use was. now i feel bad lol
Which crew can hang out with a pirate criminal and not get upset? Most NPCs seem pretty goody goody.
I don't understand how to make it :( how do you get all the parts you need? I started to build in hope town but then I am missing the nova parts..
every character build needs to come with a unique ship
Please include the level you need to be to get all the parts for the ship and the overall cost. For everyone else, all the parts will be available at lvl 36, except for the grav drive at lvl 53.
Dang it why do I have a full time job, wife and 2 kids.... I need more time to play this game!
Still deciding if i want to but this game or wait till its on sale… The lack of space travel/exploration is a big disappointment.
I just don't see the similarities to a pirate ship
It’s a ship for a pirate
But is there a spaceport that has ALL of these parts so I can build it all in one? This is my main issue with this game. The custom landing pad at outposts have most of the parts but not all of them
I would love to see a smaller and more agile version of your pirate ship
I wish they had better companions for pirate builds what we get are sub par & the 4 mains complain to much.
Mine is shaped like an old timey pirate ship. I just don’t know what to use for a mast.
How did yall change your ships name? I have tried repeatedly and it won't change.
Just out of curiosity... How much did this cost? My guess would be half a million
I thought this was a lore channel?
Builds have always been their bread and butter.
I think a ship that fires devastating broadsides is a pirate ship.
Turn side on to cripple then board. Aye
Do xenobiologist
#2) Let’s get a money hungry , psychopathic, CEO build. Ruthlessly working his way up from a lowly miner to the head of the most powerful corporation in the universe.
the ship wont connect and it also says cockpit wont connect to docker. Can you just make a full tutorial to it?
