    Those are pretty low nutrient numbers for a tank that already doesn't get much in the way of water changes. Will you be dosing iron/manganese?

    Not trying to be salty but I think refugiums and all these reactors are quite rubbish if all you want is nutrient export. It's big, it's expensive, it's messy and the list goes on. Real purpose of a refugium is to grow pods. If you really want the most effective method for nutrient export, carbon dosing + protein skimmer is the way to go. Doesnt cost much, works really well. Research required, but way better than refugium.

      I made a diy turf scrubber I’d rather do this than carbon dose personally.

    That doesn’t come close to a Reef Octopus LR 200. It’s ugly and the light wires will fail under salt water sooner or later. Also the side mounted lighting will limit the growth pattern. I’ll give it 6 months tops on the market

    Mini trash can inside sump....gets crazy....but so easy to lift out and scrub clean....no thumb screws....no extra anything....just easy ....
