- The Morey's Piers Ghost Ship had a soft opening on July 28th, 2023. This is the first time the attraction has been open since the summer of 2019. Currently, only the first floor of the ship is open, but the admission has been lowered to 6 tickets. The ride will be open daily at 6 PM moving forward. This footage was recorded during the soft opening.

This makes me so happy! I'm glad that at least the first floor is open. Can't wait to go in next month. Hopefully the second floor is all good to go by next season. The cynical side of me is that the Morey's are going to say "oh we can't rehab it but at least we gave you one floor this year!" and then shut it down and take it apart.

Sad to see only half is opened the upstairs was the best part. Hopefully Moreys gets it fixed and can hire enough scare actors to fully run it back to its former glory! Are they hiring!?
They are probably hiring if you can.work until October when all the j1s leave.

Nice! What’s up with the dad dragging his kid along like that. Clearly he was very frightened and didn’t want to be in there. Dumb ass parent.
I don't think the dad forced the kid to go through...the kid wanted to try it but got scared.
