- Zombie Castle is a ride-through dark ride located in Playland Park in Rye, NY. The ride dates back to the 1930s and was originally a "Laff in the Dark" ride manufactured by R.E. Chambers. This ride-through was recorded by Bill Cherkasky on August 2, 2023.
I loved this when I was young and still do!
It’s sad that so many of the props are broken. They’ve been like that for a while now.
This was my first time on the ride...so I didn't know what the props were supposed to do. But we still thought it was pretty good for a small park.
@@DarkinthePark Most of these props are Distortions Unlimited animatronics. It used to be quite an impressive ride.
@@hauntsandamusements love these props were made around 2001 2002 because it was refurbished in 2002.
Enjoy your channel....the props look better then most dark rides. Curious when Flying Witch opens at Niagra after moving....nice episode!
