    Hi! Great tutorial, thanks!
    Just to clarify - in case if I have a steering wheel with lane assistant (vibrating) and I'm replacing it with steering wheel that has heating but no lane assistant.
    From which steering wheel I need to take the module, or I need to buy a new module from a steering wheel that has both options (vibrating + heating)?

    • @SingleMaltMotors
      @SingleMaltMotors  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you, friend. To answer your question, if you want both Heating & Lane Assist, you will need to buy a need module that supports both.

      @VValts-gv6yv 7 месяцев назад

      @@SingleMaltMotors Thanks! With appropriate module, coding still will be needed or in that case it will be a plug n play situation?

    • @SingleMaltMotors
      @SingleMaltMotors  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@VValts-gv6yv Coding is still required. You need to add the option 248 to your vehicle FA, and then update the appropriate modules (FRM, ICM, JBBF, KOMBI)

    hey do you happen to know which wiring terminal under the airbag is for the heated option? i am trying to find one aftermarket online used and most sellers do not know, thanks

    • @SingleMaltMotors
      @SingleMaltMotors  Год назад +1

      Hi friend, yes - if you watch the video at approximately the 16:00 mark, you will see that the lower plug (red wires) is for the heated wheel and rumble pack. Hope that helps, thanks for watching

    • @sund5
      @sund5 4 месяца назад

      @@SingleMaltMotors But as most sellers of F10/F11 wheels don't know what the steering wheel have, they could sell one with the red wires, and those wires could be being to either Rumble or Heating right? Or both?
      You still dont know what you get, as it could be to both, or either?
      Iam looking for a way to 100% know if the steering wheel has heating. I have an pre LCI steering wheel with paddle shift, ACC, and heating. and want an LCI with same. ( or also with vibration,)

    It is a pity that you did not show how to replace this module and you probably need additional power for heating?

      I did not have to replace any modules for this retrofit. My car has lane departure warning so all I needed was the new switch, steering wheel, and coding.
