Another well made tutorial full of extra details that many youtubers wouldn’t have included. I appreciate how you add helpful tips for us DIYers. Thanks again!
Dude I wanna say big thank you for having e90 cuz pretty much I was following your steps on modifying the the e90 and now I have i bought new project is the f10 535i has n54 engine and low key now I wish I the bought 335i.
Hi Sir, first of all, thanks for your amazing videos. Well, in second place, would be help me to do a retrofit witha a BMW X3 F25 with engine N52??? Some article, some media will help a lot because I couldnt find nothing about it. Thanks again.
where did you end up getting the BMW paddle shifters, not the Ebay ones. Were they also found on ebay, thinking of buying a 335i F30 soon and wanted to know how hard this is.
Nice video and idea! And actually it's pretty interesting to see how much you have to change gears with gasoline versus diesel to get over 60mph/100kmh 😄
i have a question Jd so what if my car already had paddle shifters but i buy a m sport steering will that doesnt have paddle shifters but i want to install them do i still need the wiring harnest or am i good cause my car is already coded for paddle shifters ?
Hello, I have retrofitted the shift paddles on a f10 and they are not working. The - paddle is upshifting and the + paddle is downshifting. So it automatically puts the car in m8. Could you help me with this? Could it be a wire problem? Thanks
Renato, it sounds like you have the paddle shifters wired backwards. Switching the two connectors inside the steering wheel should resolve this. Good luck!
I honestly don't understand the crap people get for adding M stuff to their regular BMW. They are upgrades... They are upgrades you can have right from the dealer when you buy your car. And if you want to make your regular BMW look like an M what not? The only flack I would give someone is if they completely change everything and put M badges and take off their gem and lie about it being a real M.. There are M cars which are great, then there are M equipped cars which is like XLT trim on a ford truck ... Putting M door sills, M wheels and steering wheel, M rear wing, M shifter.... And even M badges added just means you support the Motorsport upgrades from BMW in my opinion. Who cares! Make your car look how you want it. Just don't lie to someone when they ask if its a real M
Just removed the positive terminal to remove my steering wheel. Closed the boot and now I can't get into the back of my 4 series to connect it back up again. DO NOT DO THIS!!!
We’re sorry to hear this! Hope you were able to get back in okay! Another helpful tip: tie a microfiber cloth around your trunk latch to prevent the trunk from latching while completing your install.

Hey, how do you know which cable to connect to the left and right shifter. Both look identical.
Hey man, do u remember which paddle goes into which blue socket?
From what I heared it doesn't matter but you don't mention it in your video.
Do I need a paddle shift harness if I’m prewired?
Do you have instructions for coding paddle shifters?
Hello, do you have problems with the wheels fitment? Thank you! I ve seen that your wheels are a little bit in exterior of the fender.

I also have f25 and want to install paddles.

Will you have to drill holes for oem sport paddles?
Yes, to convert any non-paddle wheel to paddles, you will have to drill
Hi, how big should the hole be, or with which size of bit are you driling the hole?
are there any e90 wireless charger kits that you might have heard good stuff about?
Nice video and idea! And actually it's pretty interesting to see how much you have to change gears with gasoline versus diesel to get over 60mph/100kmh 😄
is it good to lock down the steering wheel while doing that?
great stuff ;)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
This will work on my 2013 f10? I can’t find it on fcp euro
Yes, this will work with your car. All parts are linked (in stock) in the description below.

You will need the wiring regardless of which paddle shifters you use

Well said!
Just removed the positive terminal to remove my steering wheel.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!
Hint: If you do do this, put your rear seats down so you can get into the boot to connect the battery back up again.
