Ok, but we can all agree that my grandparents had STLYE, right?! Knowing my Granny, and how she was, I bet she made all of their outfits! she was so crafty, and charismatic, and beautiful. So thankful her gifts have been passed down to me! And my Grandpa!!!! He had such great style! All three of those wonderful humans in the photograph from 1973 made me who I am today. Gratitude doesn't begin to cover it!!

Apparently 75% of the people who see my videos aren’t subscribed?! Let’s change that🖤
Wooh! I'm part of the 75 percentile!
Well part of the 25% ❤️
I wasn't but I'm part of the 25 percenters now! Take _that_ majority!
I’m part of the minority!!!! Happy to be here. But let’s get that number higher !!!
Ok TOTALLY off topic, but WHERE did you get that skinned Pegasus art? Because I LOVE IT and NEED IT
I still have my bellbottom outfit. Gonna wear mine for my 70th birthday.
Omg that's epic
OMG! Yes!!!
Amazing!
Ohhhh that will be so fun! ❤️❤️❤️
I clicked on this *so fast*. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. Hugs to you.
You're giving me ideas. I have a picture of my mom in a tight, bright yellow jumpsuit with bell bottoms from the 70s as well. Love that picture, because it always made me feel connected with her (she passed away, when I was young).
I would totally wear that design, if maybe in a different color. Hmmmmm....😄
Do it! Make your mama proud!
God bless ya. Hugs on the loss of your Grandma. Hugs
I was born in the early 1970's. My family was not fashionable. Except for the polyester fabrics (my skin breaks out in fabrics with high poly content) I would be happy wearing clothing that was fashionable when I was a child. Amazing video!
I feel the same way about 80s clothes.
I was a young teen in the 70s. I would actually steal my Mom's bellbottom pink corduroy pants. They were what we called elephant bottoms because you could trip on these bottoms! She sewed all of our clothes in the 60s and we had crop tops and short sets with gorgeous Rick rack and boho trims! Gunnar you rocked this look. 👏
Grandpa is a WHOLE mood! 💜🤍
He’s a babe 😊
I like your nails, they are freaking gorgeous
I would so dance with you in that! I was there in the disco days, i must admit, wonderful job on it all.
Press it Flat. and. FUCKING. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Love it boo 😂😂😂!!!
Gunnar, you are so talented and just so cute! Love that you replicated your grandpa's outfit - you've hot to wear that to the bar - got to!❣😊🐕❣
Lots of hugs to you on the loss of your grandma, I'm so sorry to hear that. I love how u always add your crystals to everything you do always good vibes. And as always love the vids.
My condolences to you and your family. This was an amazing way to honor your grandmother’s teaching you to sew. It was also a terrific idea to lighten your grandfather’s mood. Take care of yourself.💝
Watching your creations come to life is crazy soothing. Amazing.
My Condolences🙏🏿🙏🏿 to U and yr family I know the pain it is in losing a Grandma mine passed in 2003 and the pain has not lessoned Savor the memories that U two shared she's gone but not forgotten😞💔
I FLOVE this!!! I'm so glad you found that photo. My condolences, as well.
I was born in 1972. Your outfit brings back such good memories. My mom used to sew outfits like this for my sister and me all the time! You look fabulous!
Love it!! So sorry for your loss. My grandmother taught me how to sew also. I still have some cool vintage dresses she made for my Mom in the 70s.
Im so sorry about you losing your Grandma. My Grandma ( Baba) was Croatian, she taught me to sew on her old foot pedal Singer.......smooth stitches, never jammed! My Grandma basted everything by hand, and she made us Beach cover-ups out of faded towels, fringe and all, and everyone wanted to know where we got them🤣. Your Grandma lives on every time you create your design wonders!
YOU ARE SUCH A LENGEND!!!!!🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
How sweet that your grandpa got to see it.
Hugs to you and your family, I'm so sorry. I was born in 75 and remember these mid blue corduroy flared dungarees and pale pink ribbed acrylic turtle neck jumper, that was my play outfit. My mum made me a wonder woman COSTUME when I was around 5 or 6, from dyeing a bustier of hers red, and sewing silver sequins round legs of some big bue underpants. She made a cape from red glittery fabric, sewing a W W on either front in more sequins. Tiara and wristlets from card and sticky backed plastic. Omg I LOVED wearing that, I WAS WW, twirled myself into another dimension ❤️😍
I'm so sorry for your loss...
even 20 years after her death, I can still be brought to tears thinking about my grandmother 👵😢💔😔😪
I know you’re grandmother taught you to sew, and I’m sad I never learned from my mom growing up but she’s now teaching HER granddaughter, my niece, how to sew! My niece who’s almost 11 is OBSESSED with making cos play!!!! So awesome ❤️❤️❤️
That's so cool! Love you made his outfit. For me the photo brought back memories of my parents and me in those old photos in the 70's ❤
Looks like a groovy summer outfit. Nice and airy. I am so sorry for your loss.
I so loved this! How awesome to have this picture when your grandparents were young! My grandparents were born in 1889!! I agree about the Freddie Mercury comparison. You are so creative, talented and generous (to share your process)
My oh my, your Grandfather looks like Sonny of Sonny and Cher. The
70's were the best. I love Disco.
I love this outfit and I live for the color palette!! I can imagine an entire collection just from this pinkish mauve and white together! Oh my god I love it so much!!
I got war flashbacks of both seamripping and sewing zippers from this

I'm making this outfit my entire personality I swear
So sorry for your loss. I’m sure she is so proud of you for how successful and creative you are.
My inner witch loves the utilization of all the gorgeous crystals in your craft. Your grandparents seem pretty cool.
Really enjoyed this. We forget, sometimes that our grandparents were hot, young things wearing stylish clothing and just being cool.
Great job on the pants! And you are correct to sew in a fly front jeans zipper is no joke.
So sorry about the loss of your Grandmother 😔❤️
You are just freaking DARLING ❣️❣️❣️
So much skill talent and vision you have. Love your creations.
Keep em coming
I love this longer videos as a longer version of the short format, I’m always wanting to se more details of the dresses you show in the shorts. I would love to see a longer video of the making of and the finished product of the dresses you make. Love your work.
Beautiful heart and you truly have an amazing soul Gunnar. I love u
Sorry for your loss, your grandparents look totally amazing
Ummm you're not shiny, you are glowing! 😂 Loved this. You look great. Grandpa was a fashion King. 💕
So good, you sent me back in time to my childhood and bought huge smiles to my face😁💕
Around this same time I had a pair of bell bottoms that were dusky pink with small metal studs on each side that went from the waist all the way to the bottom & outlined each hip pocket. They were my favorite because of the fit & the way the fabric hung on the bells. Your recreation reminded of them & haven't thought of them in years. Yours fit you great & hang beautifully at the bells.
Grandmas are special, I've lost both of mine. So very sorry for your loss!
Your grandparents were totally hip, wow! Love your work! 💕
Those were the last years of the bell bottom jeans. Did real good here. As a person who time was the 1970s I would have hugged the knees a little bit before leading into the bell. It just gives a nicer fit and look on jeans. But that's me and I am a woman.
My thoughts EXACTLY!! Your grandfather’s outfit just SCREAMED Freddy Mercury at me.
How would Tyvek house wrap work for a muslin fabric?
This video is what I needed! I'm figuring out the color story for my collection and the mood is summer disco vibes for sure!🕺
I listen to audio books when I sew!!! I wore clothes like that...YIKES!!! Cute!!!
Aw, so sorry about your Grannie..💖💖💖💖🤗
One of your videos came through my feed while I was watching old "Say Yes to the Dress" episodes yesterday and I have been binge watching your videos ever since. The magic of designing and creating beautiful clothes has always eluded me but I am still fascinated watching someone think outside the box and create breath taking fashion and you certainly do that! Your creativity is amazing and so beautiful! Plus, you really know how to pick nail polish color! 😍
New sub here!
Oh my! These are beau - ti - ful! You look amazing in them and you should definitely go out dancing in this outfit! Xx
So cute! You did your grandma proud!
Oh, my goodness! I was 20 in 1973 and, boy, do I remember these outfits! I had a pair of white jeans, too, but I don't remember that they stained easily... You look great, Gunnar!
I'm so sorry for your loss hun. Keep pressing on. Pun intended ;) ♡
This is a wonderful tribute to your grandparents. May your grandmother rest in blessed peace.🙏
My aunt and uncle owned Cloths and Crafts before they retired. It was ft Lauderdale fla. Fun outfit. Love it. Love from NY/NJ.
Actually loved this video. I made some jeans and it was hard to make when it came to the damn zipper.
I wish I could see grandpa's reaction I bet it brought back so many memories 🥺

Fashion industry needs to bring back all leg styles from student levi bell bottom jeans from the 70’s to the pencil stovepipe thin legs.....then we all will be happy! Smile!🙂
Lol you give me a Freddy Mercury vibe!! I couldn't put my finger on it but as soon as you said it I was like-YASSS!!! Please make time for a disco video starring you of course in garb and maybe a little backup!! LoL 💜☮️
i love it! it would be so cool if you made a woodstock inspired dress!
Always enjoy your creations.
That aside, love your nails, rings and stones for anchoring fabric.
Scotchgard is great for keeping white jeans clean. I've had a pair of white jeans for 4 years & I always Scotgard them the night before I wear them. They are in great condition.
I just discovered you and I love what I see this is just beautiful what you did with your grandfather's photo so cool can't wait to see more
I really love watching your videos💕... I also want learn how to sew and make my own wardrobe, and I got so much inspiration from you, thank you for your videos.
I love your knowledge that the white pants are a one time supreme shine and done deal.
I recently have decided i need a pair of white pants in my wardrobe but can not get passed the fact they wont last more then once.
