My mother makes wedding cakes and she recently did a three tier cake covered in pressed flowers. Pressing that many flowers was NOT relaxing 😂 but thank you for showing us how peaceful this activity can be 😊

It’s super easy just get some paper towel to soak the moister up from the flowers and something heavy, takes a few weeks for them to fully dry, keep it in cool dry place

I’ve been looking at ASMR videos for 7 or 8 years and your channel, along with Gentlewhispering’s, are the best I know. You will have a million followers soon as you are so brilliant, calm, witty, instructive, with beautiful accent, content and ambience.
I watch all your videos over and over, sometimes I let them lull me to sleep, and other times I watch them properly to drink in all of the gorgeous details and props. Thank you for your hard work and meticulous attention to detail.
PS The Lady of Shallot is one of my favourites too. I hand wrote lines from the poem and pinned them around the walls when I was living away at university.

Looking through flowers was so relaxing!! 😌😌 i felt as if i was just back from flower picking with an older sister~ and since you're sharing french name of perovskia, here's a fun fact: in poland cosmos flowers have many folk names, one of which is "warszawianka" what can be trandlated as "warsaw lady" or "miss from warsaw" 💜💜

My favorite flower to press is the "pansy" or" johnny jump up's"....they don't have a lumpy middle like daisy's or cosmos....leaves are also easy to press and quite beautiful!!...I have lamenated place mats that have pressed flowers and leaves, and when food or drinks get spilled on them, you just get a sponge and wipe them off ( no putting them in a washing machine)....this truly was a video that took me down memory lane....so well done and put together!!...
I've tried to watch this about 10 times already because I Really want to see how the flowers come out but I keep falling asleep!!! I guess that's how you know she's good at her craft. 😂 I'd love to see more art/craft videos like this in the future!

How utterly enchanting this is. How exquisitely beautiful. Watching you treat each flower with such delicacy, with such tenderness. I found myself completely mesmerized by the process. And I found myself transported to another time, to another place. Perhaps a simpler, gentler time when one could slow down and breathe and allow one’s self to experience the simple joys of creating these precious treasures. Perhaps while sitting in an almost sacred silence, drinking in the quiet calm of a lovely midsummer evening. These were the thoughts and feelings that welled up inside me as I watched this deeply calming and deeply comforting work of art. Thank you so much for this precious gift.

For the last 2 years I have been growing a wildflower garden along the side of our house. It is the most easy garden I have ever grown and the flowers are just stunning. Last year I tried to press some flowers in a book but it did not turn out well. This tutorial is very helpful! I will definitely try again but using the flower press this year. Beautiful video and so soothing.
