I have been WANTINGGG a jacket like this for years. I remember seeing a jacket similar when I was a kid in a vintage store, and the vision has never left me! This was definitely one of the more advanced project I've done as far as technique, and the Cricut legit made life easy when it came to the stars which would have been a huge struggle fir me to get precise! I have the hardest time cutting out small things like that! I cannot wait to wear this out!

That jacket is just everything! You have such a great eye for detail- a true gift! I had a leather blazer (kind of) that my mother made for me and I literally wore it for so many years that it fell apart! I wish your jacket a long and loved life as well!
Gunnar, you are WONDERFUL! You do the exact same thing my Grandmother and Great Grandmothers used to do: Go into a high-end store, look at the garments then go home and make them. In my family's case they would go into a store named MARSHALL FIELD'S, in Chicago, and check out their wares. My Great Grandmothers even made some baby clothes at home and sold them to that store. That was quite a feat, since African Americans were not allowed to shop in that store at the time. You're the BEST! ❣️

As a 70's baby I loooooove how this turned out, everything about the final look is stunning.
The 70's vibes are real! Leather jackets are so lovely, I actually found THe OnE that I always wanted and then went on a diet and lost 25 pounds JUST to fit into it lol.
((Disclaimer I was overweight and had been trying to lose that weight, and this was the motivation I needed. Sizing should fit your body not the otter way around lol))

That tiger's eye you were using as a weight sparked my inspiration a bit! Have you thought of trying to do a dress or a garment inspired by the tiger's eye pattern? You could even do a whole line of crystal inspired garments!

And that you got to learn new techniques like gluing down leather seams!
