The Volvo electric car lineup has, until now, been rather expensive to access, with the XC40 Recharge starting from over £45,000. This is set to change, though, with the introduction of the EX30: a small electric SUV that undercuts the likes of the Vauxhall Mokka Electric. Join Rich as he gives a full overview of this new Taycan-troubling Swedish EV.

I'm a XC40 owner, one thing I don't like about the brand is the miserable 3 year warranty. In other counties like Australia it's 5 years, Why ?
I agree. In fact in Australia there's very good consumer law so, despite the warranty, there's a legal expectation of "reasonable durability" which, for a car, is generally considered to be 10 years.
3 years is pathetic these days. Kia offers 7 as standard (as does MG) and others at least 5 (Hyundai etc). I have heard that even Nissan is offering "up to" 10 years (caveat - I believe you have to have it dealer serviced, which won't be cheap).
ep, that until comes to you saying "Let me cooch here, sshh, I've been trying to contact you regarding your car extended warranty."
Harsher environment, everything is built or expected to be more durable/tough
I suppose it all depends on what you call cheap 😮😬🙄🤔
Boot space similar to a fiesta!! What’s the point of this car?
Thanks for the quick and clear information. What good news for owners of 22kW AC home charging
I like it very much looks like it’s going to be a great EV and I would go for the twin motor all singing and dancing tech.
"slightly more affordable' would be more appropriate. No idea what you make in a year, but that's a LOOOOOONG way from 'cheap'.
Faster, yes, but also missing a gauge cluster and 4 proper window switches. The wrong places to cheap out 👎👎
There’s window switches, they’re positioned in the centre console. I’d imagine this makes it easier for swapping between LHD and RHD
Why on earth do we need 268bhp in congested Britain? The insurance premiums will be astronomical. When will a manufacturer produce a "sensible" EV with, say, 130/150hp, more than enough for the majority of drivers surely!
Try the MG4 Long Range
Seems to be a very close competitor to the Renault Megane. Same length (4.2m), same battery size (64kWh), similar price range.
