It seems like Polestar and Volvo are managing to keep a fairly distinct image, Volvo is concentrating more on boxy and practical vehicles and Polestar is doing the more sporty side of things, which makes it a bit funny that this will be the fastest car of the whole Volvo / Polestar line up. spec-wise, the rear dimensions are bigger all around for the XC40, though not as much as you might think (2 inches of leg room, an inch or two basically all around, though it does have that armrest which is nice). All in all though as an XC40 owner I'm super impressed with what the EX30 has to offer vs the XC40 recharge and I will definitely look into "downgrading" when my lease is up!

So I chatted with someone on their chat feature who told me the EX30 would have Wireless CarPlay (the first Volvo to offer it). So glad Volvo is doing right by their customers and offering this. Strange that they aren't offering Android Auto (the OS is Google?) but that they aren't following GM down the subscribe through us or else model. Thanks Volvo! I may very well end up in one of these. This thing will sell well, but we should expect a lot of competition from European brands in the coming months. Acceleration is insane!

Once you have had a chance to evaluate it thoroughly, I would love to hear your thoughts about the Volvo EX30 as compared to the Volkswagen ID.4. The back seat room in the EX30 looks like an issue . . . I know it's a small car but it looks like an adult would only be able to sit there for a short period of time. Other than that, it looks great. I don't have a big problem with the door window switches and I think I would be OK with no displays directly in front of the driver.
