I don't understand why you keep calling it ridiculous. It had the dimensions on it before you ordered it. Some people are large and/or tall and will appreciate it.

You are not a big guy...Medium I would say. I'm 6' 7" 350 pounds. Actually, I'm normal size and everyone else is just small. Lol.

Uhhh... you DO know (don't you)? They make/sell a "Tent" which affixes TO the cot, so you HAVE a tent/cot in one.

I slept on one recently on vacation, and it's the only time ever I've regretted getting back to my home bed. These things, with the foam padding, are the best sleeping cots/beds I've ever been on. Ignore the size. Buy the bed, and build the rest of your camp around it.

Indestructible. Very good. No cons. All pros

First timer here. I can't get the fourth corner of the end bars in place, and the red thingy is not helpful because it slips out over and over. What do I need to do differently?!?!

I think that whistling at the construction workers will only make them angry and use their machinery louder

There are tents that fit that but you may actually have to read the letters and numbers that make words and sentences.

Cot tent or sleep outside with an overhead tarp for air cover. Oh. You went there two minutes after I thought of it and a minute after I posted.

I have that setup along with the Outfitter XXL Quick cot tent. Works perfectly. Love it. I'm a big guy, and it's the only thing that works.

Teton Sports has tents that fasten to the top of the cot, so that's an option. I just purchased the smallest Teton Sports Adventurer Cot 75"x25"x17" and I use it with a Springbar Compact Canvas Tent 6'x8'x52". But using it under a tarp is a good option too, or there are many tents that would fit your XXL size cot.
