They are pretty good, but nobody can beat Ruthie Henshall as Fantine and Philip Quast as Javert. I like both this Valjean as Colm Wilkingson's performance. All names are from the 10th anniversary, which is on RUclips so I highly recommend that you check it out.
Hear me out. Nick Jonas as Marius and whoever as Cosete were the worst thing about this version. Nicks entire vibe was off and Cosete was just kinda quiet. Everyone else was amazing though
Boe is definitely my favourite Valjean and I think anyone reasonable would have to acknowledge he could be th best. I personally thought Javert was also incredible. In fact apart from Cosette and Marius, I think all casting choices for this were impeccable, from the Bishop of Digne to Matt Lucas (although I do also have a very fond spot for Allun Armstrong!). I get it's personal taste but I was moved by more vocal performances for this one than any other version. Of course that's not to say some originals aren't brilliant but different, but I think this was the pinnacle vocally, overall!
100% agree! He brings such a tenderness to the role! He really seems like he is saying a prayer! Hugh Jackman was good and all, but he's got nothing on Alfie
25th anniversary has the best vocals than any other version I have seen!!!!!

@@LisaF97 I do agree with you on that though

Minus Nick Jonas as Marius, I agree! Norm Lewis as Javert in particular is magnificent
Alfie Boe's is the best rendition of this song.
