    Would be nice for shrimp, and it looks amazing, but not the best setup for a pet betta. Needs leaves they can rest on near the surface at least. I understand why people like to keep the tanks clear and lit, especially if you have a very pretty betta, but they do like it darker with the almond leaf in it too.

      This is the first time I've seen mentioned that bettas rest on leaves. Mine swims in & out of the roots dangling in the water from the pothos vines & would seemingly get stuck. It never occurred to me that he'd worn himself out & was taking a break lol

    This is a great way to decorate a tank, especially if you also add a few taller plants in one corner. Though I wouldn't have a Betta as I'm personally not keen on them. DO NOT DO THIS! The tank is TOO SMALL for a betta fish and there is NO OXYGEN being put into the water! Bettas need a MINIMUM of 3 gallons, they NEED a heater, AND a filter.

    • @dionsart
      @dionsart 4 года назад +2

      Not a filter with a good system, but a lot more plants, yes. It is definitly the wrong tank for a betta. They don't need oxygen. They are labyrinth breathers and get their oxygen from the water surface.
