I think it’s a beautiful little scape and I think Mr. Betta is very handsome! And since he was probably not a wild caught betta it doesn’t really matter what his natural habitat would look like because he didn’t grow up in it. I don’t understand why some people go to all the trouble of typing out a snarky comment. Keep up the good work! In fact, I’m going to subscribe right now so I can see more of your work. 💕
@@KMui-f9e this has nothing to do with hate. Bettas just don’t like it bright, need many hiding places and always some swimming plants to hide under, it’s in there genetics.
Great job,, the only thing that i would have added is,, just a few super slight spots of darker green & red plants sprinkled around just for a lil more variety.
This looks wonderful but some water lettuce or any other big floating plants is always good for bettas. They like to roam around hunting bugs. A litle cave for these kind of fish to hide is also nice.
I watched a great video. Outlet standards of Eheim 150 products 9/12 and inlet standard 12/16. Is the LILY PIPES specifications in the video like the Outlet and inlet standards of Eheim 150? In the description, the LILY PIPES specifications are written at 9mm.
Thankyou 🙏 Yes eheim gives outlet of 9mm and inlet of 12mm in classic 150 and I have used 9mm for both inlet and outlet, for inlet as it’s bigger just cut a little piece of 9mm tube given with the filter and first fit that piece on the lily pipe and than the 12mm pipe over it and you are good to go.
Thankyou 🙏 water was filled to make the soil totally wet as wet soil is more stable and do not roll too much and gives a good grip to the hardscape (in my experience). So later water was drained to continue with the scaping as scaping without water filled is easier.
Awesome scape!! bdw..what is the name of the other fish in this scape? Is Mr. Betta going well with that other fish? I'd 2 cherry shrimps in my planted betta tank, but my Betta used to run after them.
Thankyou 🙏 That’s otocinclus catfish, and yes Mr betta doesn’t mind them in the tank but with shrimps I have seen bettas going after them but in most cases they cannot catch them but still initially they will try to hunt them down but usually later give up chasing.
@@nature_scape is there any lead or link for me to buy the same tank. All the ones I am getting is looking very bad with its glue remains visible and shape wise as well.
Awesome scape, especially without CO2. Buuuut, that’s absolutely no tank for a betta. Way to bright, no hiding places (like many plants to hide in or swimmingplants to hide under) and Bettas should be kept alone, no second betta or other fish, you can try it with shrimps, but they might end as food. Snails always worked (in my case) but I already heard storys about Bettas who don’t even accept them. 😂
How to prevent algae and snails issue in this tank? I have made Betta tank before, but neither neocaridina shrimp nor Carinotetraodon fish can't live with Betta Fish, shrimp been eaten, the other would attack Betta. Anyway, thx for sharing such beautiful aquascape.
Thankyou 🙏 The first thing is floating plants. Second thing I would say is manually removing algae and regular water changes and maintenance and once the tank is established and mature than algae will not be a big of a problem in my experience
Thankyou 🙏 See all soils do turn into mush more or less but I have been using Tropica since a year or May be even more but still it’s not that bad at all I have found extreme less portion turning into mush
@Pim Neij I have found a video that makes diy aquasoil using that method we can make aquasoil as hard as required so that it doesnt turn into mush. Here I'm dropping link of that video hope it helps youruclips.net/video/9OEp-J3hkpo/видео.html
sir whenever I add fish food in aquarium, after sometime the food goes to bottom and I can't see it because of the rocks, so will the fish be able to eat this in between stones? My stones are small in size and there are alot of it, I dont think so that the fish can push the tiny stone and eat the food. so what to do? should I removed these stones and replace it with something else? please any suggestion???
I would say just feed the amount which the fishes eat before it sinks. Plus some times the fishes may be able to eat the food between the rocks but the remaining accumulated food will rot and will be a problem in long run.
@@jasminekaif8546 if you feel like doing so you can surely do that but always feed in limited quantity as too much feeding will be bad for fishes health as well as for the water parameters (in my experience)

@@happymethehappyone8300 sir my local pond has much more water innit that 20 to 30l and a lot more natural filtration through the different layers of substrate
@@happymethehappyone8300 you can have an aquarium without any mechanical filtration and so without any water flow but only if your substrate level is high enough and contains a lot of porous material with a big surface area like JBL volcano mineral so that bacteria have a place to live.
