If the Lions win Sunday, the Ford family needs to buy that guy who has had season tickets from the 50s an all expenses paid VIP trip to the Super Bowl, just saying that
He don’t need any handouts if you was from Detroit you would know that he’s a millionaire
@@John-tb8fjit's not about handouts it's about showing RESPECT to your most loyal fan and supporter!
At no point in that game did it feel like TB was going to win.
I'm glad I clicked on this "Detroit Lions" video to hear about the bucs and Mike Evans for over 7 minutes! SMH
Oh shut up
@@camdenmusilek8432 you shut yo ass up he’s right ! All these shows cover the loser all the damn time the pick against the lions an eat shit on the show the day after
@@camdenmusilek8432 The national media can't seem to "talk about the lions" without talking about the team they beat for as long or longer...
@@camdenmusilek8432it’s an open comment section meaning anyone can say whatever they want 😂🤡
Hey Chris Long, obvious you’re anti Lions and also soft for not owning it.
"Now, the rabbits got the gun" LOL. Kyle always cracks me up.
whats up with the racoon??? is that a woody no pun intended.
I've watched every Lions game for decades and you're totally right about Glenn, they've started to apply pressure way more and I think it's because they have really good players in the secondary who can blitz. This all turned around when the young safety Melifonwu got healthy
From a lions fan, Baker has my respect
who doesn't like baker mayfield? He's a guys' guy
@@softjones3128 I wonder if Stafford had a flashback? Another close L at Ford Field! 🤣
i've always loved baker. glad we sent him home but very happy to see him succeeding
Secondary may be leaky when pressure doesn't get there, but those nickel safety blitzes from the slot are drive killers. Not to mention, James Houston may be coming back on Sunday, and his pass rush is wicked quick.
DETROIT WE UP
the best pod
Chris you bring up excellent points always but here's something else You should add about the Lions, Dan Campbell has a top three ATS against the spread record each of the three seasons he's been the Lions coach and was number one this year. This right there tells you they have a huge coaching advantage due to his aggression every game and the fact that people haven't caught on to it yet it's just astonishing as you'll never find a coach post three straight years as a top three ATS team in the NFL
Spot on! I made a shitload of money at the end of the '22 season.
Chris you're awesome
Chris Long thank you for talking about the best team of this season
The Detroit lions are remind me of Saints 2009 of their Grit Mentality
The dawgs appreciate the Shane reference. One pride 🦁
Thank you Baker for the gift.
Yes he does and yes he will!!!
I want to talk about the Lions..... But wait.
LaPorta is the man he is ready to take that crown 👑 go lions
it still hasnt hit me that we could be in the superbowl after sunday
In the 2nd half Purdy did outplay Love. It's also true that Brock had a few turnover worthy throws that made his night and stats look a lot better than what they could have had the Packers defense not had rocks for hands. Purdy definitely had a few clutch throws in the 2nd half, but overall it was a very Jimmy G playoff type performance where Purdy tried to throw the game away with some of the brutal throws he had.
I do not give a crap what the NFL says Detroit has the best rookies in the league bar none
Watch every game twice before making a comment. Truth
Baker deserves a contract, he is solid. I hope Tampa treats him well. My boy the Sun God really is an a-hole lol
🚫 Even Close! 🦁⚒️💙
I don’t think they’re quite there yet…defense needs some tweaks in the secondary. But this is an absolutely incredible run!
All grit
Bears ain't far ahead of the Lions Kyle. If we're the Rabbit what are the Bears? Elmer Fudd? I think even that would be too generous.
Too funny, I've said the same thing about same Brown He's the most competitive person I've ever seen or heard. The Lions have always lacked competitors even Barry and Calvin Johnson didn't have that killer instinct
Kyle Long is like a cross between Brody Stevens and Kurt Metzger ... Plus, shockingly athletic
JG16 🎩 5 EZ ⚒️🦁💙
Did Todd help bucs cover the spread by not letting lions kick field goal
Well after reading terminators comment, I just clicked off the video and know not to come back here again.
Thanks brotha.
Dueces
B rabbits got the gun
Kyle has a total can of chaw in right now. Golly
💙🩵Let's Go Lions 🩵 💙 One Pride 💙🩵💙
Long looks like an intelligent guy but his hate over the Lions makes him look stupid sometimes.
He is totally wrong on the Todd Bowles timeout discussion for not paying attention on details.
Watch the game replay. The Lions saw that Bowles was not going to use their time out left on first down, so they didn't even ran out the play clock completely on 2d down (still 17 secs left). If Bowles had used his final time out on first down, then the Lions would have ran better the time clock and left less than 16 seconds after the field goal attempt. (Maybe not even taken the field goal, run in the back field for a few seconds, then punt). Since Bowles conceded the victory in to the Lions on first down, both teams decide to ended early.
Great. 7 minutes before they even mentioned a Lions player. 😑
Love absolutely played better than Purdy, but keep hyping up that all 22 you watched bud you sound sooo professional
Yall gotta stop cutting each other off.
He said White is Kamara what game are you watching, White is a big power back. Jahmyr is more Kamara than White
To me, the greatest thing that has kept the Lions from winning over the years has been the ownership by the Ford family. It seems the pro sports teams that find success year after year are owned by a self made business man. The Ford family is no longer populate by people that figured out how to run a successful business, but by their heirs. I don't think any of the Fords that have owned and led the team were incompetent, they just never learned the key to picking the right people to run the team that other owners have. Until now. I'm really wondering where the current Ford family member found the management insights she is applying to this team. Her Wiki is thin on her business life before taking over the Lions. Anyone have a back ground they can share on her?
you're overthinking it. The difference is that Sheila brought in people who know football (e.g. Chris Spielman) to help her hire smart football people with the right attitude (Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell). Then she was smart enough to let them do their job without interference. She's involved, but she doesn't try to influence them.
Too many other owners try to influence the GM and make decisions.
@@jesse8458 Bill Ford supposedly did the same thing but with a different set of advisors. We all remember what kind of results he had.
@@cdjhyoung yup, having the right advisors to hire the right people is the key. And there's probably a bit of luck to that. Glad Sheila seems to have gotten it right.
I think the thing that most people miss is that she's an athlete herself, so she does had a fundamental belief from the beginning to surround herself with 'football guys' i.e. ex players who were absolutely obsessed with the football intelligence.
She got some good advice from some of her business friends and approached hiring in an authentic manner, with a true intention and mindset established in the beginning.

I think the mistake by Tampa Bay coach at the end is probably the biggest mistake I've ever seen by a coach in NFL history and I've been following the game for 40 years. It's an excusable especially in that scenario hell in any scenario They were down one possession. I think it would be an excusable if they were down to possessions but one possession. How this isn't the biggest story right now I don't know
You know exactly why this isn't a story.
I think he thought he was out of timeouts after that review. It wasn't just Bowles who screwed the pooch there. The whole coaching staff did. But the lame excuses that they have put out are crazy. At Campbell said "We screwed that up, the ball was snapped too soon."
Is that raccoon holding his rocket?
I think going for 2 was the right move. When your team is clearly the worse team, you don’t play for OT, you play to win in regulation. The more time the Lions have to beat the Bucs, the more likely that is to happen imo.
Only team in the tournament left rooting for are the Ravens
Travis kelce is the best tight-end in the NFL ok Chris
Better pack yer lunch bucko.......the Lions winning the big dance is absolutely not going to happen.
Saints Winston call was insane,Tampa not taking time out on second victory formation was going to be worse,do nfl fans don’t understand logic
Gentlemen, you can do the show without the swearing it just makes it terrible
Who gives a shit about the bucs theyre done, gone, see yaaa
Kyle long still looks like a stoner
Letting time run out when you still have a time out is the looser mentality thing I have ever seen in the NFL, they could have blocked the fieldgoal or done something but just giving up felt so bad
Agreed it has to be probably the worst comment I've ever heard by a coach after a game.
Only a fool could truly think its possible for a team with a horrible defense could get to a super bowl, much less win it
That “horrible defense” was the #1 rush defense in the NFL by DVOA, and their last 6 games they’ve allowed 17, 24, 20, 20, 23, and 23 points while maintaining leads throughout the majority of those games.
They are, and normally I'd be over the top, happy for them, but the game is RIGGED!!!
Rigged because they went down to the last drive of the game. If you were going to rig a game you would have one side blow out the other. You realize how perfect things would have to go to get 100 football players all on the same page to keep the game close and have the side you need to win? Wow people like you are laughable why do you even follow sports if you feel this way? Why not find something else to do with your time. I know if I felt this way I wouldn't even tune in
@arthurfonzarelli9828 You don't have a clue, do you. Pay closer attention, and you'll see. Besides, you don't need everyone on board. I left that comment because I'm pissed that they've ruined the game I LOVE!!!
These two boneheads said Sam LaPorta was the best TE in the NFL. No credibility.
He's easily top 5 if not top 3 as a rookie so what exactly are you upset about?
@@JK.PalombaHe doesn't even know why he's upset. Comment smells like hate😂😂😂😂😂
If u watch the tape hes not wrong. Kittle was the only arguement u can make when u factor in runblocking
And Laporta is also a top notch run blocker.@@robertkurtz6691
Cry more... He is the best.
So you're saying the Lions didn't win, Bucs blew the game. Okay
24 to 38 is more like 55%. Just sayin’
says the ex-Bears player and now fan. CLOWN. easiset don't recommend channel of 24 so far. maybe their Bucs title is about the Lions.
