My name is Dave and I travel with my dog Bella in a 1987 Class A Motorhome. My channel is about full time RV Living in an older RV while keeping the wheels rolling on a budget. I do the repairs, updates and upgrades myself. I’ve become my own RV Mechanic/Medic! I seek boondocking opportunities every chance I can and power the RV with 500 watts of solar and approximately 500 amp hours of batteries. RV Resorts are just not our style!

Never knew Coleman made a camp oven. I still use the green Coleman stove, my dad bought it in the 70s... Still works good.
Dave, I took an old toaster oven my neighbor got rid of. Removed the wiring and it became the oven on top my wood stove. I had fun making a pizza in it and corn bread.

We camped with our friends and they had one of those ovens and they cooked homemade beer bread, and it turned out great!
You just need to monitor and adj the heat.

Very nice and cozy-looking.
Those puck lights made all the difference. Looks great and very organized. I keep my heavy cast iron pan ready at hand. You never know when you need to bash something. You don’t need a lot of swing room😅 We had a camp oven like that years ago, it did collapse like that. My momma used to make biscuits in it. The first few times the bottoms were burnt but she eventually got it sorted. If I remember correctly, she had to cook things lower than at home. I think the temp gauge wasn’t reliable.

Great build. I have a little oven like that but found out it looses a lot of heat so a welders blanket helps a lot to cover it up and then it really works good. Really makes some good corn bread.

I can't remember the name of the couple who are long time RV'rs but she has used this little oven to bake bread and many other dishes several times over the past years. No doubt, it will take practice to learn how to make this work in the most efficient way, but it will be another project to 'mess around with' while you are learning. Your kitchen and storage unit look great, thanks for sharing !

2:00 Hmm I’m thinking wood glue here. They all look real nice Dave. I’m glad you didn’t light the stove in the garage for the first time, with the fuel next to it…. I’ve had experience with those Coleman gas appliances. Sometimes they flare up pretty high and the fuel doesn’t completely vaporize on startup

Awesome job Dave. I have an old Coleman stove , I got it for my bday 1968, I was 14. I keep it in my camper.i bought the kit to change it over to propane. That white gas scares me.
They make a propane adapter for those old coleman stoves bought mine at bass prò
You can still get Coleman fuel at most Walmarts and good hardware stores. They are great stoves.
Looks great. You have really done a functional and esthetically beautiful , a job well done and shows pride in workmanship.
I think they discovered the gas in the camp stove was toxic so they had to switch to propane. My sister had an alcohol one in her VW camper and she liked it. The kitchen looks good👍🏼 Have you heard any of Teddy Swims music Dave? I just discovered him, great raspy blusey voice, great driving music.
That camp oven might cook a roast of chicken, pork, beef, whatever, slow cooked food tastes so much better. 🙋🏼♀️
? I thought they only switched to propane for the convenience the stoves were lighter and a lot easier to operate, I heard the white gas stoves actually burn hotter and cleaner than propane
