Well at least through the construction of the gaming desk you didn't go full on homer simpson bbq pit on it. When my wife bought and built her brand new super computer. We decided to get a new desk as well for make things convenient when it comes to her video editing projects. As long as you put that sucker to good use that is all that matters.

I stopped trying to get a huge desk to keep everything on and instead opted for smaller individual spaces. Helped keep the clutter localized. I have a flexispot desk for work/youtube and then a dresser that has my camera/soldering/cables then a corner tv stand for my PVM and other stuff. I only have the one room so space is at a premium. It's been a journey but at least having the main desk then building out the rest of it to suit each purpose has been less frustrating than trying to track down a large desk that also had the quality I was looking for.

I know this goes against the purpose of this video and I mean no disrespect, but I highly recommend a standing desk. They can be a little more expensive to a lot more expensive, depending on how far you go but you can customize it to your liking and can be a desk you can keep for many years. I built my own using sturdy dual motor leg set and the cheapest 72x24 inch butcher block I can find (they can get pretty pricy. I sanded a round front edge so no sharp edge digging into my forearms. I stained it a dark walnut but butcher block sealer or doing nothing at all would look great too. It has enough room for a 27" and 32" monitor mounted on a dual arm, my gaming PC, GameCube, Wii U, Switch and Logitech z625 speakers. All my cables rest in a privacy screen with a mesh pocket. The main power, network and speaker wires to the sub woofer are the only cables that come from my desk. The legs are far enough apart to give plenty of leg room while leaving space on the outside of the legs for drawers. And the biggest gaming benefit is the height adjustment. You can dial in the proper height for your arms to be at the proper angle and you can get that arcade feel at a higher position. There is of course lots of mouse and TKL keyboard room. BTW, LOVE the Optimus Prime and the peg board idea. That would have been a great idea for a hanging back board under my desk. The mesh pocket goes the entire length of the desk and all cables just sit there. I have plans to re-wire the mess and a peg board sounds like a great idea! I can create "channels" for cables using eyelets and hooks or reuseable zip strips... tons of possibilities!

Hey man, I ordered something from your shop more than 3 weeks ago and haven’t gotten any shipping updates. I’ve tried emailing you and messaging you through your website and you have not responded.

Same with me. it's been 2 month's emailed 3 times, left 3 comments and no response whatsoever. It's very frustrating seeing comments responded to and we're getting no responses.
