I showed this video to your Uncle Marty this morning. I told him, 'That's my kid!' Needless to say, your mother and I are very proud these video tapes are doing so well.
the way i see it, on DIY youtube, "i cant justify spending 100-200 dollars on something, but i can justify spending 12 times that and however long it takes to build it myself" is completely reasonable, because building it yourself allows you to turn your hobby into *content*.
This keyboard is the nightmare of any keyboard enthusiast. Amazing work though, so much hard work and persistence, and a fat load of jank that you got pretty good results out of.
Killer intro! Thank you for the fever dream Marcin. Always a pleasure. Shooting on that 4:3 camcorder was the cherry on top. Being afraid of the next FUCKED UP sound effect throughout the video made my blood tension go so high, my doctor gives me 6 months. Thank you Marcin that's a lot of work in that video
@@sunnysahi786 well the phone speaker I got just had 2 touch pads, so I hooked it up like you would any other speaker and it worked. Probably wouldn’t drive it too loud with an amp, you dont want it to blow up. Other than that it worked pretty well.
Bro how are you so good in engineering I do not have an engineering degree but a physics degree and this is really impressive to me. I would love to have skills like yours. Great job
The fact that you have under 100k followers and your content is this well polished is crazy, I hit the subscribe button so fast, look forward to your future videos/projects
I love this form factor. Its like a gigantic, tiny screen. And when it's folded, it's actually pretty compact. I wish devices like this were available to buy.
This is an insane project! Although, I hate to break it to you, but DS stands for Dual Screen.... You made an SP. (BTW great editing and organization of this video! I'm here before your channel blows up!)
RUclips, please send Marcin his silver play button for Christmas. Because I said so. Marcin, this was absolute ADHD paradise for my ADHD brain... PHENOMENAL WORK!!! LOVE this video!!! 😍
16:17 Is that a.. A power-tool battery powered hoverboard made out of 2:4’s?... Alright, cut the shit, where’s the wife? Husband? And if neither, wheres your address so we cant get that sorted? (all jokes aside, love the jank!! Very silly, very epic.)
This is awesome. After getting the LG 39inch ultra wide monitor I can’t imagine using regular monitors again. Having an ultra wide handheld would actually be super awesome. I love engineering, if it weren’t for my dyscalculia i would have perused engineering. I’m 31 now and everyday I think about designing and making my own stuff, I have so many ideas and I just wish I could make it into reality and even make money from it. Maybe my daughter will grow into an engineer and she can turn my ideas into reality 😄
Sony and others have tried to sell ultrawide laptops before but they just don’t sell. Screen is too small and it’s a very niche thing. But GPD sells similar things.
ERMIGERD those noises were ADORABLE!! I was squeaking just as much when it shockingly worked! [screen that is 😸] Finally finished the video, that was amazing. So glad you documented this for others to see, truly inspiring! Hope you get the internship you are looking for!
Ultra wide on the go?-That’s pretty awesome! Great work outta you! I love this form factor! Next level up ideas: mechanical keyboard, mechanical controller buttons (a la a fight pad) … who needs thin, anyways? Great work, though, subbing to stay in the loop with your next great idea!
The whole Titanfall 2 stuck compilers shaders thing on Linux was actually not stuck, The Linux build of steam pre compiles all the shaders when you first launch a game primarily to help with steamdeck, it can take a stupid long time on certain games but if you give it some time it will eventually finish.
Glad I came across your video, you're literally doing things I imagined would be possible. I was thinking of the same concept using framework laptop builds for an easy swap. I also used to own a Sony Vaio P which I think you can find some inspiration from. Keep up the great work!
24:07 You can actually skip that step in any relatively modern computer because they can build them while the game is running, the process is there mainly for older computers where the performance hit is too big.
I love love love this channel so much - actually working crackhead electronics, long videos, great editing, cool (mentally ill, insane) projects... You're becoming the new michael reeves, and I mean it!! Keep up the awesome work man!
Man, I would kill for a high-end version of this that can handle AAA games. I could probably pay you to do that if I wanted to, just depends on if you're interested lol
God bless the algorithm for once, really like the vid and i love all the diy things but still precise and functional. I get sucked in into those complex ideas every day. Btw what is that watch? It looks so nice.
You do never cease to amaze us, Marcin! 👍
how was this made 16 hours ago but the video was made 7 hours ago
@@aur_xt From what he explained to his mother and I, the sponsor (PCBWay) got to review the episode prior to it going live on internet TV.
@@aur_xt The video was probably unlisted before it went public
no its magic silly

It's all about being at a point in life with all the time in the world but breadcrumb tier budget.
In this case, a pc handheld is $300 to $400 so I think his actions are justified
And then he realizes this would make it an SP and not a DS. 👍
I was waiting for the second touch screen
This keyboard is the nightmare of any keyboard enthusiast.
Amazing work though, so much hard work and persistence, and a fat load of jank that you got pretty good results out of.
Great success
agreed
The design legit looks awesome. And I thought i,d never say this but ultrawide screen on a handheld actually looks great
It’s unironically awesome
This wide monitor while playing stardew valley is so fucking cool
Finally a great and down-to-earth build video, minimal tasteful editing and even no background music. Wow.
And no shoehorning memes too! What a very serious man to praise...

That's a clean looking cyberdeck. I think you hit the jackpot finding a screen that works out of the box with a direct connection

I can’t belive it either, the bios is stretched double wide now tho lol
