  • If you had watched this episode (Courage in the Big Stinkin' City) of Courage The Cowardly Dog on either Cartoon Network Asia, Cartoon Network Philippines or Cartoon Network Australia/New Zealand (or even on HBO Go, Trans TV in Indonesia or TV5 in the Philippines) sometime around the late 2000s/early 2010s or even now, you just realized that the scene with the three doors in that episode was cut out in those airings. CN Asia just cut out that scene, presumably because of the "Violin Girl" part, which this part may be too disturbing and traumatizing for the show's target audience.
Up until late 2010/2011 (from what I remembered in my memory), Cartoon Network Asia (specifically Cartoon Network Philippines) used to air this episode of Courage The Cowardly Dog (as well as another episode called Bad Hair Day) with those scenes intact. By around late 2010/2011 and ever since, CN Asia edited both of these episodes to remove those scenes, due to it being too disturbing and traumatizing (for the episode Courage in the Big Stinkin' City) and due to time constraints (for the episode Bad Hair Day).

Maybe my memory is failing me, I swear there was another door where Courage saw a woman bathing and just giggled and closed it.

Different episode. I think it was from the episode where Courage remembers how he got into Muriel’s care.

Dont know why they cut the scene especially for HBO Go, though they should've leave the scene uncut for streaming services. For Live TV, I understand

(this comment is a bit lengthy, sorry for that)
Hey, you are back after a month on hiatus! I thought your channel is no longer active anymore, but now you are back, let me tell you this. Did you know that Disney closed their remaining linear TV channels (the two National Geographic channels, BabyTV, Star Chinese Movies etc.) in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and South Korea? That happened five days ago, on September 30th. I didn't mean to say that you missed that moment and couldn't record the closedown footages of it, I just want to tell you that this closedown had happened recently. Also, on New Year's Eve 2023 (December 31st), they will do the same thing with the remaining channels in Taiwan. Again I don't mean to force you to record the closedown of them when that happens; I just want to remind you about the upcoming DNG-owned channels' closedown. Back to the main topic... I was initially a bit worried when your channel was left inactive for a month, but now seeing you returning, I'm so happy. Anyway, I really enjoy your videos (particularly the closedown vids of DNG channels back in 2021 - sorry for repeating the 'channels closedown' over and over), and I hope your channel will continue growing continously throughout the years. Stay calm and healthy, and I'm looking forward to seeing your future videos!
