Honestly, the brief moment when nothing happens with the demon looking at him with an eyebrow raised, made me wonder for a brief moment if the computer didn’t really give him proper instructions for an incantation and was just trying make courage look stupid.
I like how supportive Eustace is in believing Courage that Muriel is possessed. He could've easily dismissed Courage's claim as him just being super paranoid as usual,but instead he's fully on board in wanting to save Muriel.
What made this hilarious to me as a kid wasn't that the chant worked for Courage instead of Eustace, it was that Courage didn't bother saying it a second time to save Eustace after he proved it worked. Haha
I love how random household objects in this show are belligerently oversized... Like the lock Courage put on the chain around the mattress for example 😂
