  • Kicking us off with some blue-collar banter, sharing stories that all you business owners can appreciate. 😂 We jump right into the trenches, literally. Watch as our crew digs trenches while carefully navigating a maze of wires. 🌳 We head out to quote a little tree removal job then make a few important calls to the plumber and general contractor of the trench job.
A quick stop at the shop to chat with our heavy equipment mechanic then
the day takes a wild turn when we arrive at a new jobsite and discover one of our crew members rolled the work truck - twice. Just another day in the life working in the trades!

Our piers have to be 16 round with a 2x2 x6 base. 4 feet deep. Minimum.... alittle overkill...

Good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good. He disclosed he discussed with customers their budget upfront. He seems to treat his guys wells, have nice equipment and I’m pretty sure he’s a for profit business so I don’t see the issue discussing numbers with other business owners

    • @adamchoice1753

He can do whatever he wants it’s America. I will say when you charging a customer so much you are laughing about it, that tells me everything I need to know. I’m not saying he doesn’t do good work or have good employees or equipment. I said zero about any of that, I’m saying he is bending his customer over and not using lube. It’s very obvious to anyone that listens to the video and has 3 brain cells. You must be his buddy. lol

@@takiniteasy4500 I can tell he has a silver tongue, I’ve met his type before. He’s the type of guy who could sell ice to an Eskimo. I’m not saying being a good salesman is bad/evil but people like him usually push it too far and take advantage of people way more than they should. Also the whole discussing the customers budget before quoting them is a huge red flag. Customer is probably well off which he’s aware of and he gets them to throw out a number for their budget and when the none the wiser customer with money inevitably throws out a number that’s way more than the work is worth, he now knows he can work his magic and convince them that this 60,000$ to 70,000$ job is actually a 90,000$ job. A true tip for negotiating pricing on anything, never show the person you’re negotiating with all your cards( I.e. how much you may be willing to spend!)
