Speaking your honest opinion about The Last Jedi = losing early press access to Disney events like this. So if you're in the media you tuck it in, tamp it down and wave goodbye to your integrity.
I would like to play the ship's accountant. File an expense report for fuel and ammo or give a presentation on the ROI of the mission. It may be smuggling but it's still a business.
Engineers are also responsible for hooking onto and reeling in the cargo on your missions while the pilots have to line up behind the shipment carrying the cargo while gunners have to fend off people preventing the other two roles from doing there jobs. It definitely requires a lot of synergy and I personally enjoyed all roles. If I had to list them, my personal favorites would have to be 1. Engineer 2.Pilot 3.Gunner. Even when we did bad twice out of my three rides on smuggler’s run, I still had tonsss of fun.
If it were me,I wouldn't really care what I get.Just being there, sitting there, experiencing the ship that saved many Star Wars character's lives many times is already a dream in and of itself😍😍😍
Smugglers Run is one of my favorite audiobooks. Highly recommend it, either as audio or read. Its short but great. Its a Han Solo story part of The Force Awakens series. probably would make a great movie.
My friend is also prone to motion sickness on these types of attractions. If she’s not in control she will get sick. For her, piloting was the only way she could enjoy this with out getting sick. The falcon is now her favorite attraction !!!!
This sounds stressful especially if you don't know six people. Everyone is going to want to be the pilot and having someone I don't know pilot sounds weird and awkward
Die hard fans will notice that the Falcon holding area isn't a 100% accurate replica of what's in the movie. Mainly, it's missing the step down from the hallway. Big omission, I assume for safety concerns.
Honestly, just my opinion (not speaking for the whole DoN crew), I think Harlof should leave Collider and do his own thing like Campea. I'd subscribe and love to collaborate with him. - Josh
I wish Disney would just be forthcoming with when Rise of the Resistance will open. It sucks to be planning a trip for later in the year not knowing if you’ll end up choosing correctly and catch it or end up finding out you missed it by a week or two.
She called it the Millenium Falcom twice! I've also never heard the Falcon referred to as "keep that bird in the air." Wish someone with more Star Wars knowledge would have been there for Collider. Kristian, Ken, Reilly should have been there.

Alexander Torro with ALL MY HEART, Star Tours is a much better ride! It actually feels like your in Star Wars and it has way better graphics and a better overall experience of the ride you just experienced.
@@dannycervantes2596 so.. Again..just to be sure.... Your saying... The 90's attraction.... "(Star Tours)"......is better than the 2019 attraction...."(Smugglers Run)"...
ABSOLUTELY!! Star Tours has been updated for many years now to be 3D and you can get 56 different variations of different planets and battles you get thrown in the middle of. -There’s a beginning -First planet or Battle -Hologram Message about your mission -Second Planet or Battle -End (docking port) Each one of those elements are mix and match that you’re shown at random. So you get a lot of variation of different experiences when you ride Star Tours! And just for the Record even it it was the original Star Tours where you FUCKING GO IN THE TRENCH RUN ON THE STAR DESTROYER!!!!! (I miss that version so much lol) I would absolutely say that’s a better and more exciting ride! Again because you actually FEEL like your in the Star Wars universe. Nothing about Smugglers Run makes you feel like your in Star Wars. Flying over Galaxy’s Edge or the couple of fighters that your shooting at make it feel like your in that universe.
Sounds very UNeven (and “gambly”) for Disney to have constructed such a ride? Sounds like your ride-experience will very much vary, depending on which position you get. I for one think it sounds pretty damn lame, that one doesn’t get the exact same experience. If you’ve waited in line for hours and you really had your heart set on being a pilot (which I think should’ve been the only way to ride) but you instead get put in the back or whatever, that’s just uneven and, sorry, dumb. I have a feeling, that Disney are truly gonna hear a lot of complaints from people in the coming months. You just don’t have people wait in line for freaken hours and then not give them the same experience - talk about a gamble! People will be disappointed, when they don’t get the position they wanted - and RIGHTFULLY SO. Just think about the kids, when they get disappointed for not getting the right toy with their freaken Happy-Meals!? This is the same thing, only on a MUUUCH larger scale. Honestly, it too sounds a bit complicated for a ride. Also, it too sounds like you most likely will have this “shared experience” with a bunch of strangers on your team, depending on how many people are in your party. This just doesn’t sound to be thought through enough. I think it’s a mistake from disney’s side, and I’m pretty sure, that they WILL feel the heat for this, sooner or later. There’s gonna be a backlash.

I might be in the minority here but I'm honestly not that impressed. I mean it literally just looks like a smaller, inferior version of Star Tours with some interactive elements thrown in. The graphics seem a little washed out too with almost home console quality graphics. And I have to agree with another poster that waiting for hours only to end up in the second or third row of this ride would be a major let town. I think it would have been far more impressive if it was on some sort of track and moved through a 3-D landscape with perhaps projected images or some sort of effects so you won't feel as if you were just looking at a video loop. Just don't feel there's anything innovative about this ride.
Richard B with what they did for Flight of Passage (greatest ride ever), you would think that this ride would have come close! But I totally agree, this ride falls behind Star Tours in all areas (the Que for Falcon is better, I’ll give them that) but yeah this ride was a let down and I agree with everything you said!
The more I hear about Galaxy's Edge, the less excited I'm getting. I have bad feeling that this is going to turn into a nightmare with 4 out of 6 jobs on the Falcon seeming lame (not all of us get to see the park with a press pass and only a few dozen standing in line) and that damn 4 hour limit in the park! How is that immersive?!
Sean Smith The time limit will go away at some point and I’m guessing they have some research on what the average party size is that attends their parks. I’m guessing 6 was the sweet spot between handling average party size and moving the line through at a reasonable rate.
