That was really well done, showcasing the wonderful architecture that Huddersfield has to offer. It’s a shame that the town centre businesses have suffered in the past and newer ones are suffering too. I am from the town and am proud to come from there. I did one of my post rounds there in St George’s Square, Railway Street, Byram Arcade etc. Fond memories were brought back. Thank you.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed It, Aye I suspect Huddersfield has some evolving to do in the future, I have faith in the council to make good decisions ha ha, maybe not then. Ah well it still looks nice in the dark.
Thank you, I want to add to it now I've posted.. as usual! Incredible that the Hotel in St George's Square stood empty for so long, it's so nice there and next to the station, crazy stuff.
@@yorkshiredrone It is but its beauty never fades. Just needs some new life putting back in. Very special time when its half light.. I am from Hudds but in Mani, making plans to come home. So i can watch this for inspiration.
@@fransayer3125 They are actually currently doing it up, Radisson I believe, could be wrong. Ah the wrong side of the Pennines hey😳 gotta say I really like Manchester, maybe easier to do if you don't live there, some goes for here I guess.
I was born and bred in Hudds (Holmfirth) but to a Mancunian Mum. Mani has its good points and its changing and expanding massively but too busy. I read about the RADISSON@@yorkshiredrone
@@fransayer3125 @fransayer3125 ah interesting, if you Google Holmfirth it says is constitutes as a town of its own, I bet the posh people there never say they are from Huddersfield, the textile manufacturers there probably wove Made in Huddersfield along the edge of the cloth, prestigious name. I Guess Hudds is now a commuting hub for Manchester, houses are still reasonable..
Now this is work of an ABSOLUTE GENIUS! Never mind multi million pound budgets for movies, this says it all. When the town sleeps. The night covers all the ugliness and with the lighting actually gives Huddersfield a beautiful appearance.
Thank you, I'll take absolute genius! It could be better, too many parts missing and some shots go on far too long but yeah overall I'm pleased with it. Glad you liked the music too, it does add to the mood nicely. Ugliness? Ha ha yep night and lights make even the hideous pretty, look out for the Christmas version which is hopefully upcoming(if it stops raining ever)
Fantastic drone footage. Never seen Huddersfield town centre like that before.
Thanks man, it does look pretty cool at night, sad I missed some parts, ah well another time.

@@yorkshiredrone Actually, the town looks like it could be somewhere on the mainland continent.
Stunning town, stunning video . Huddersfield could be so much more than what it is becoming

PS. The music is perfect for it too.
nice video, subbed, what drone did they record it with?
Cheers mate, I feel like I missed out certain parts, ah well next next. It's filmed on DJI Mini 3 Pro, last Spring/summer I believe.
A night on the town.
Ha technically it was a morning on the town, fewer muggers😁
@yorkshiredrone it only takes one, if it's done right.
@@davidsmith5523 that's true! i have faith in the 10,000 cameras in town.
Huddersfield will have no lights on soon, it looks cleaner in the dark anyway
Ha ha true, looks rather lovely in the dark👍
