I can't imagine the hours of work it took to build all that. It is a great video of something people in Louisiana could never see. Few people in the USA even know such an extensive network of canals exist in the UK and France.
@billsimpson604 glad you enjoyed it, it really is an amazing feat of engineering for the time, the canals largely fell in to a state of disrepair, this one closed in 1944, the restoration started in 1981, opened 2001 fully.
