What a Time to be alive. i’m excited to finally get an adult continuation of the squad animated again! I can’t wait for them to eventually cover the avatar Kiyoshi books!!
It really is!!! I can't wait for the movie and new episodes with team avatar 😊 is it sad that I'll be in my 30's hip bumping the kids out of the way so I can watch a cartoon 😅
I really can't wait to see how they expand the universe but at the same time I hope the they really spend time to make it meaningful and not just do it for a cash grab. The original series had so many great messages and had something for all ages. So as long as they can keep that same energy I think it will be great. Can't wait!!😊
it's not a cash grab there's 3 movie planned i think one from adult original team avatar, another for korra movie and i think there was a kyoshi movie too the ending for the avatar movie would introduce the new earth bender avatar far off into the avatar universes future one where the use spirit vine energy technology is being used basically diverging from our own technoligy since korra was during the industrial revolution the ending where a new form of technology that spirit vine energy would the avatar universe's technology diverge from our that's just how i interpret it anyway based on what i have seen at the end of korra since the discovery of spirit vine enery as a weapon it could potentially be used as an energy source similar to our nuclear power plant and not just that it could power cell phones or whatever the writers could think off there are tons of application spirit vine enery can be used not just as a weapon
Would love to see a deep story about uncle Iroh. How he became that truly awesome character, his connection with the spirit world, his days as a general.. and becoming The Dragon of the West! Also learn how his life ended. Great video Charlie.
I can't wait for all this. The adult Gaang movie sounds like it is going be good, and I hope Toph finally gets her proper Zuko Fieldtrip, not to mention finally learn who her baby daddies were. They better tell us why Suki wasn't in legend of Korra and who Izumi's mother was (because in the comics Mai broke up with Zuko). And of course, can't wait for the movie about my boy Zuko, I hope Dante Basco comes back, because he will always be Zuko to me
I would actually like that, too. OR one about the second-ever Avatar - like could you imagine how confused everyone would be. I'd imagine noone would know yet that Wan would vbe reincarnated, so they'd probably thought that'd be that when he'd died.
Yeah I would like the ancient time settings as opposed to a modern-day one. Some random 8th or 14th avatar series would be really cool. Maybe even a full blown game.
In terms of what new bending I want to see, remember that this is the first time jump after the revival of the airbenders, and that is the only type of bending that doesn't have many known varieties of sub-bending. The first thing that comes to mind is "noise bending," so maybe we'll see some airbenders on stage with a concert. I want to see the modern airbenders deviate from their monk-ancestry, since those airbenders were widely wiped out, only Tenzin was around to pass on what he learned from Aang, so the next generation of airbenders really should have made it their own. I'd love to hear any other ideas for sub-types of bending, since it seems like there's not much there to work with that isn't covered by other bending types.
Maybe they'll be culturally split. The Air Acolytes in Korra adopted traditional Air-Nomad ideology despite being non-benders, but some newly made air benders were resistant to this cultural structure. Perhaps we'll have some that adhere to the "old ways" and some that are more modern, kind of like the different tribes of Mandalorians. That might be neat to see.
@@coreyfotre1968 I could absolutely see some of them following the path of Aang while others discover what it means to be an airbender in the modern world. I imagine some of the people Aang met in the Northern Air Temple would have been reborn as airbenders as well (which could even be a plot point about squatter's rights if and when the nomads decide to reclaim their temples).
In the Kiyoshi books, she met a wily old earthbender assassin who taught her how to slow down her matabolism and extend her lifespan my controlling the minerals in her blood via meditation. It was also revealed in the books that Avatar Kuruk died at the age of 33 after fighting spirits who were trying to break in to the physical world to take it over. They infected him with a spirit disease that slowly sapped his life away over the course of a few agonizing months. Apparently they were upset with Yangchen’s neglect of spirits and always favoring humans when it came to negotiations.
Hopefully they can capture magic in a bottle again. It seems like they are taking their time, and hopefully, they have the right people in the right positions again and deliver something epic
I think we'll see some advanced form of Spirit Bending that could restore the past lives connections, since the current avatar generally spends their show trying to fix the previous avatar's greatest failing. Aang had to end the war Roku failed to end. Korra restored the Air Nation - a feat Aang had no idea how to do. So the Earth Avatar would naturally be primed to somehow learn how to restore the past lives of the Avatar Spirit.

1) A movie featuring Team Avatar as young adults sounds great. I’m super happy they are continuing ATLA, but I hope it can be around the same level of greatness, writing, and storytelling as the original, because as we all know problems come with dragging out series. (I heard somewhere that it was never supposed to be dragged out beyond after the story they wanted to tell.) I’m not against it I’m actually REALLY EXCITED because I can’t imagine letting ATLA go (even though I didn’t grow up with it it’s still one of my absolute favorites). But I have hope in all of em! I just hope they make it with the same passion and effort and love as the original! FOR NOW WE WAIT. AH I CANT WAIT!! IT LOOKS AMAZING ❤❤❤
I love Avatar The Last Airbended franchise I can’t wait to see the adult continuation especially with all group coming back Bc these were one of my favorite shows when I was younger I used to watch this early in the morning on Nicktoons and Nickelodeon but I can’t wait for more Avatar Into The Avatar-Verse💯🔥
Firebenders are essentially energybenders (since they can also generate lightning). In the same vein, a firebender should also be able to airbend by controlling the heat around air and metalbend by controlling magnetic energy. I hope the new villain will be a firebender scientist who ends up being able to bend at the nuclear level.
I wonder if we'll ever see an Avatar born as twins like a yin and yang type One sibling mastered water and fire the other sibling mastered air and earth both try to learn each others bending sort of do a dragonball z/super/gt fusion dance twin siblings fusion to make a perfect avatar fusion form
@@rightdubz yea but he was sealed away again so I don’t think it’s possible. If UnaVaatu was sealed then yes a Ying and Yang kind of avatar thing could work. I even think it’s a pretty cool idea but the issue is how would it tie into the story of what the avatar is and how the avatar is important in the verse. I also feel like if they went with this idea, they could have the dark and light avatars split powers so that they both have two instead of one. However they wouldn’t be able to go into the avatar state unless they merge which would be like a Steven universe rip off and people would not like that.
@lieusle I feel like it could work. Vaatu was not destroyed, and if you remember, he will appear again, just like Raava did when she got destroyed. It doesn't make sense for Raava to be the only spirit to reincarnate when her and Vaatu are literally part of each other. They've been doing this for thousands of years, even after Wan came along. Plus, each Avatar would keep whatever elements they had during the merge. Raava gets all the elements since Wan got them from lion turtles, and Vaatu would only have waterbending from Unalap. We know what at least one lion turtle was alive, so the plot could be to stop the Dark Avatar from gaining more elements.
@@rightdubz I’m sorry I’m just now seeing this. 😭 Vaatu wasn’t destroyed either he was sealed away. The only way a dark avatar cycle could happen is if the uncle died while Vaatu was by his side, and he did what Raava did to Wan but to Unalaq. Vaatu and Raava can’t be destroyed unless it’s by eachother at least that’s my understanding of how everything went down. When you mentioned how Raava basically reincarnated, it reminded me of why I and just about everyone I see who talks about Korra dislike book 2 especially when they talk about the spirits. The thing is when learning about Wan’s story they mention how if Vaatu or Raava die, they also take 10,000 years to reincarnate again, right? I could be confusing something but I’m pretty sure that’s how that works. Which is why Korra taking her out of Vaatu seemed weird (unless, again, I’m misunderstanding something but worked for the plot of course.) To me it would become repetitive if the main enemy, unless it only lasted for 1 avatar series, was basically a dark version of who the avatar represents (balance.) I think if book two ended differently where Korra lost Raava forever then basically the two avatars could work out; because like you said, the new plot could be the avatar stopping the dark avatar. However I think that Vaatu and Raava were supposed to represent Taoism and I’m making this conclusion based off what Iroh said about the Koi fish who in atla represented Taoism as well. He mentioned how the fish couldn’t live without the other and the entire story with Raava and Vaatu is similar where Raava said the same thing. I feel like adding Raava and Vaatu messed up the flow of the avatar in a sense, maybe if instead of them we continued on with the fish. Maybe the fish could’ve been bigger than just the fish on earth, and only the avatar could see their true form or something.
I just really got into this avatar over the last year or so... it's actually a great series.. im looking forward to charlie helping me learn the whole story...
@@lilcinoxyCinoxy it’s specified toph and zuko didn’t think his earth and fire bending was all that good. He knew how to bend all the elements but he only “mastered” air and kind of water.
Us millennials and maybe older Gen Z have grown up with this show. Even the younger crowds today are fans of the entire Avatar universe, and that’s just amazing, honestly. I loved the idea of an adult Gaang story. I was 14 when I first watched the show, and now I’m almost 31. It’s just something we can all sit down and watch, relate to, and enjoy.
I'll be curious to see how technology and society has changed in the 100 some years following The Legend Of Korra. One thing I felt was a jump the shark moment was the introduction of mechs in season 3 since while the development still felt somewhat natural in the beginning of the show, making mechs is something we aren't even near getting down to that extant yet in real life and it made no sense to go from 1920s esque tech to that within the span of a few years.
I hope we finally learn what became of Azula between ATLA and LOK AND who Izumi's mom is because she is roughly the same age as Aang and Katara's older children.
Since Vatuu can’t die like Raava, maybe we can see dark avatar too vs avatar again ? Also, maybe Vatuu can take evil spirts as dark avatar and end them quickly to build the dark avatar chain like Wan Shi Tong, Koh the face stealer and bad people of fog of lost souls, and then the dark avatar will have incredible power to match up with the avatar who has the power of 5 lion turtles.
I prefer 2D animation, but maybe it's just because that's what I'm used to. Hopefully I can get used to 3D animation if that's what they start doing for everything.
I hope the new Avatar is a Sandbender. I would love to learn more about that culture, and his bending style should be different from other Earthbenders.
I like to think eventually every element bending will evolve to a molecular and atomic level. Waterbenders bend the water in blood, earthbenders evolve to the point of bending the iron from the blood and firebenders could bend the electrical signals send by the nervous system. those are only examples of controlling other humans. A positive scenario i could think of is they could expand and explain how water really heal wounds.
I’m not sure I’m a fan of the modern avatar thing. Part of ATLA’s charm was its semi-ancient setting. Sure it had some industrial technology but the overall setting felt it was from hundreds of years ago, which made it feel all the more unfamiliar and entertaining to explore. It created a lot of mystery. I hope that the next productions will be further back in time or at least tone down the modernization.
If the new avatar would be born an earth bender I wonder what element they would struggle with most. With aang it was earth bending and for Korra it was air. I would also wonder given every avatar is different in their ability to master the elements some pick it up right away like korra being able to bend 3 of the 4 elements at a young age or traditional learning them one by one like aang and roku did would this new earth avatar be proficient at learning them or be a rookie?
I think it would be interesting to see an avatar world where tech has essentially taken over and there isnt much bending left. That would be really interesting to see the Avatar have to essentially restart bending for the world.
I hope we see more sandbending and nore kf the old sandbenders culture and maybe dive into the ancient fire tribe too like maybe they come out of the shadows
YEEESSS!!!!! FINALLY...MY GURL KYOSHI GETS HER FULL FEATURED STORY SHOW/MOVIE!!!! ive been wanting that for a long time... Kyoshi was an absolute beast!!!! (both in size and ability)....💯💯💯
Had you told my 12 year old self when I watched the series finale for AtLA that one day, they'd have their own studio and I'd get all this material as an adult I would have SCREAMED ❤🎉
ABBBSSOOOFFUUKKINLUUUTLEY!!!!! 💯💯💯😎😎😎🤘🤘🤘 It pisses me off when people don't consider Avatar legit Anime..... it's better than any traditional style anime ever made....💯🤘😎
I just want to see more avatar set in a time like Aangs or Avatar Wan. I’m not really a fan of the technological advancements and modernism. I prefer old ways with nomads, tribes and villages.
I am hoping Avatar Universe(world-planet) crossing with Lego Bionicles universe(world-planet, worlds-planets), and Lego Ninjago Universe (world-planet, worlds-planets) because they are honestly way to similar in their element bending. So it would be interesting to have them all perspective wise turning out to be extraterrestrials to each other. And there might be other similar element bending themed franchises that could potentially work similarly for crossovers.
Trippy. Just today I went looking for an item from a local book and crystal shop, something that reminds me of the air nation symbol, and I actually found a nice keychain that had a symbol fairly close to it. And a few hours later I find this video.
I love the avatar universe and excited for new content. but not really looking forward to a '2023' avatar. I miss the charm of the old world, but i also under why it will be set that far. Just crazy that there were like 100 avatars before aang, but his world wasnt that much different than theirs
I'm thrilled about seeing the next avatar after Korra. But I really fear the new technology and what it will do with the universe. I wouldn't like that part. But nomatter how good or bad it'll become, I'm happy that they're creating something.
What do you think the merchant will sell in the new show? I mean they literally got him in the live and universe. Therefore he may appear in every show. So what would he sell? Technology maybe?

I’m not against it I’m actually REALLY EXCITED because I can’t imagine letting ATLA go (even though I didn’t grow up with it it’s still one of my absolute favorites). But I have hope in all of em! I just hope they make it with the same passion and effort and love as the original! FOR NOW WE WAIT. AH I CANT WAIT!! IT LOOKS AMAZING ❤❤❤
Ive just been rewatching the original series. It holds up really well. Cant wait!
nice!
There are 5 attempts on Zuko's life after he takes the throne👀🔥👊
... how did i miss this... I'm so hyped now
*touches necklace* 'My mom used to love the animated Avatar: The Last Airbender series'
- Some kid named Katara in 2035, probably
I genuinely almost started crying when you mentioned the avatar walking around with an iphone and tik tok
Its so cool how this series came out back in 2005 and its 2023 now and its no where near to an end
I hope they can also make a video about Irohs life, his son and how his relationship with Zuko became to be.
Earthbending doctors would be cool with bloodbending assistants that are maybe a bit stigmatized.
I wonder if we'll ever see an Avatar born as twins like a yin and yang type
One sibling mastered water and fire the other sibling mastered air and earth both try to learn each others bending sort of do a dragonball z/super/gt fusion dance twin siblings fusion to make a perfect avatar fusion form
I don't think that's how reincarnation works
This was my theory since Unalaaq and Vaatu merged.
Vaatu wasn’t destroyed either he was sealed away.
Which is why Korra taking her out of Vaatu seemed weird (unless, again, I’m misunderstanding something but worked for the plot of course.) To me it would become repetitive if the main enemy, unless it only lasted for 1 avatar series, was basically a dark version of who the avatar represents (balance.)
I think if book two ended differently where Korra lost Raava forever then basically the two avatars could work out; because like you said, the new plot could be the avatar stopping the dark avatar.
I just really got into this avatar over the last year or so... it's actually a great series.. im looking forward to charlie helping me learn the whole story...
no problem!
Thanks Charlie
I hope Aang will be a master of all 4 elements and same with avatar state
He already did😂
@@lilcinoxyCinoxy it’s specified toph and zuko didn’t think his earth and fire bending was all that good.
I can't wait to see how it turns out
I'll do more avatar the last airbender videos soon!
As long as they use cell shading to make the models look 2D then I won't mind
Id love to see new bending and what adult mai,ty lee, suki, azula look like
An advantage of having 3 different styles is that they can use 3 different studios and have them finished sooner.
My daughter JUST got into ATLAB so I'm excited to share these with her when they get released ❤
I’m happy to know younger kids are still getting into this! 🙂
I hope we finally learn what became of Azula between ATLA and LOK AND who Izumi's mom is because she is roughly the same age as Aang and Katara's older children.
I really hope Jeremy Zuckerman does all the scoring for all the series❤
I just hope the increase in quantity doesn't result in a decrease in quality.
It'll take 10,000 years
I prefer 2D animation, but maybe it's just because that's what I'm used to. Hopefully I can get used to 3D animation if that's what they start doing for everything.
I hope the new Avatar is a Sandbender. I would love to learn more about that culture, and his bending style should be different from other Earthbenders.
Yeah, Sandbending Avatar! Let's go!!
THE BOULDER....WILL GRIND YOUR BONES INTO SAND....THEN THE BOULDER IS GONNA FART THE GRAINS OF YOUR PUNY BODY AND SCATTER IT TO THE WINDS....
I wanna see a master water bender that has the ability to walk on water not just freezing it
Aang's bending skill in the first new movie will be much greater
they can already do that....
Adult aang is gonna be so op bro
If the new avatar would be born an earth bender I wonder what element they would struggle with most. With aang it was earth bending and for Korra it was air. I would also wonder given every avatar is different in their ability to master the elements some pick it up right away like korra being able to bend 3 of the 4 elements at a young age or traditional learning them one by one like aang and roku did would this new earth avatar be proficient at learning them or be a rookie?
That would be air bending. They always struggle with the opposite element.
@@tbigbearjackson it’s more of the opposite personality than element
I think it would be interesting to see an avatar world where tech has essentially taken over and there isnt much bending left. That would be really interesting to see the Avatar have to essentially restart bending for the world.
I think this will be the case and as he/she reforms bending, they also reconnect with the past avatar spirits.
@@MammothMorals that would be so cool!
I hope we see more sandbending and nore kf the old sandbenders culture and maybe dive into the ancient fire tribe too like maybe they come out of the shadows
Bro i have been watching avatar since 2017 and I am 100% going to the cinema next year
YEEESSS!!!!!
FINALLY...MY GURL KYOSHI GETS HER FULL FEATURED STORY SHOW/MOVIE!!!!
ive been wanting that for a long time...
Kyoshi was an absolute beast!!!! (both in size and ability)....💯💯💯
I want to see Neonbending and Glassbending.
I wonder if bumi would've been born around this time?
I believe the first movie will be set before Aang and Katara's children are born.
Had you told my 12 year old self when I watched the series finale for AtLA that one day, they'd have their own studio and I'd get all this material as an adult I would have SCREAMED ❤🎉
The time tree at the end of korra will play a big part in unlocking the past avatars
This is exciting!!
Avatar is the best Anime ive seen! For He Who wrote this masterpiece and those who animated my respect and congratulations!
ABBBSSOOOFFUUKKINLUUUTLEY!!!!! 💯💯💯😎😎😎🤘🤘🤘
It pisses me off when people don't consider Avatar legit Anime.....
it's better than any traditional style anime ever made....💯🤘😎
Cant Wait To See The 2.5D CG Stylized Animation And The New Voice For Aang Katara Sokka And Toph
The Gaang reaaaaally needs to be THE voices.
I just want to see more avatar set in a time like Aangs or Avatar Wan. I’m not really a fan of the technological advancements and modernism. I prefer old ways with nomads, tribes and villages.
Maybe in Korra’s movie, the plot will be her gaining access to all her past lives
I just hope it's based on the Fire Nation since we saw none of it
I am hoping Avatar Universe(world-planet) crossing with Lego Bionicles universe(world-planet, worlds-planets), and Lego Ninjago Universe (world-planet, worlds-planets) because they are honestly way to similar in their element bending. So it would be interesting to have them all perspective wise turning out to be extraterrestrials to each other. And there might be other similar element bending themed franchises that could potentially work similarly for crossovers.
I wonder if there will be an advancement of fire bending along the lines of nuclear weapons. Nuclear bending?
I really hope we do you get a comics, one-to-one adaptation
@Ghazanfar Ali i’m okay with that part. But I can imagine Japan, adapting the comics. I don’t think the plots are weak.
@Ghazanfar Ali not everything has to be New
@Ghazanfar Ali I hope it has stuff that I’ve always wanted to see.
I am excited for the avatar era. So many contents & stories.
Man, I can’t wait.
same!
Aang is probably 25 and close to his 30s to 40s he'll have a beard like we saw in the flashbacks in the legend of Korra.
he doesn't have a beard, I explain during the scenes they released.
@@emergencyawesome I meant later in his life he'll have it that's why I said 30s to 40s
Love that you’re covering the avatar stuff!
All i know is this...
Mark Hamill BETTER make his return to voice Osai....
So excited for everything avatar
"He's at the end of his life, somewhere in his 40s" OOF Don't tell that to my mom
7:54 it would be cool if Firebenders also developed Lightbending.
They did
@@emergencyawesome was it in the comics then? I don't remember seeing any Lightbending in ATLA or LOK.
@@tiago9977 I believe it was in Korra. People used it as a day job such as Mako.
@@sam15782008 that was Lightning, I mean just acc Light lol.
@@tiago9977 apologies, I misread your comment.
I just subscribed! Thank you for the great Avatar info. I'm so hyped!!! 😭😭😭😭
Okay, but why are we not, as a fandom, calling these “Avatar Movers”?
Opening night, first premiere, hours before outside in a tent, with my bros.
"Please don't put Tiktok in the Avitar universe," that would be damn funny though.
Oh dear lord!!
I hope they're kinda of grown up. As a kid, I had a massive crush on Zuko 🫣🤭🤗
I always thought it would have been cool if Zuko got with the girl in his story of tales from ba sing se
Cant Wait For The 2.5D CG Stylized Animation And The Voice Cast Besides Zukko Will Be Recasted
This is so exciting!
yep!
I'm thrilled about seeing the next avatar after Korra.
But I really fear the new technology and what it will do with the universe.
I wouldn't like that part. But nomatter how good or bad it'll become, I'm happy that they're creating something.
I better see Sokka and Suki have a happy life!
im 23 and i still go back and watch legend of korra and last airbender
Ok finally ! It’s just taking so long , but we’ve been patient this long let’s it going . I’m excited
What do you think the merchant will sell in the new show? I mean they literally got him in the live and universe. Therefore he may appear in every show. So what would he sell? Technology maybe?
"closer to the end of his life, closer to his 40s"
damn that one hurt 💔
Now, THIS is the Avatar I want to see! 😁
I'll do more avatar the last airbender videos when they start releasing more news!
@@emergencyawesome YES! Thank you! Can’t wait! 😊
