My man, you didn't have the "drug" version of the Paan, it was without tobacco. Betel leaves (Paan) and a bit of betel seeds are not supposed to get you high, it's the tobacco in the Paan that does the job and has people hooked to it. The version you had was a meetha paan (sweet paan) which is but a dessert and an after-meal digestif, it actually is healthy, and you're supposed to chew and swallow this version, not spit it. The red spit is the tobacco paan. Not gonna lie I chuckled at you spitting it everywhere and thinking you're getting stimulated. Hope this will help you get the real thing on your next trip.

Hope this will help you get the real thing on your next trip.

funny
No one would offer free sweets to tourists in america for sure.
Americans can be welcoming too
Have you visited Kerala ? It’s much better than most other Indian places. Lot of international airports, ppl are much more friendly.
Obviously not this guy has already made his mind up on the entire country after just going to the north and Bengal 😭
I'm from Kolkata. I've been to the north and south of the country. I'll agree with you. South is the most cleanest and hygienic part of India. Even makes Kolkata look dirty. Been to Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Telengana.
I thought the same thing, going to Delhi is so chaotic for first timers
@@SecularGuy697
He made the mistake of starting his journey in Delhi then Varanasi if he likes a more laidback atmosphere. Should have gone to Goa first to dip his toes in the water.
Kolkata is a big & old city, can't compare that with Goa or Kerala which are first states and none of the cities in this 2 states comes close to the 'City of Joy ' in terms of how big the city is and the population.
Thanks!
Next time visit northeast and southern India. I wish to see those places with your perspective.
6:07 Sounded like he said, "have a nice day."
Exactly!
Come Again
It meant,
Come again! :)
Nice shave job.The sound effects made me laugh.
The thing wrapped in leaf is not betel nut its called sweet paan. Its made with betel leaf. You can buy it from Indian shops in Chicago. I've never tried betel nut but I think it is different and stronger.
It doesn't make you high. It's only good for digestion. Even kids eat it. 😂
Kolkata is known as city of joy. It's the cultural capital of India. Food capital of India.
Nah bro it dosent work like that, putting up random words together dosent take away the dirty and unhygenic ground reality away from the city.
Kerala and indore are the best cities in india
Indore is the cleanest city.
@@sunilpokhrel8904 kerala is not a city
@@An_ony_mous actually it is mysore check your facts and then comment please
Brother, that shave looks absolutely fenominal imo.
Two types of Paan 1. Sweet paan key ingredient Gulkand(rose petals and sugar) and paan leaf is Desi leaf. You can chew and swallow this paan. 2. Tobacco paan key ingredient Tobacco of your choice and leaf is Banarsi. You don’t chew or swallow this one. Just keep it in mouth and spit out the saliva. Don’t even swallow the spit. Tobacco paan is that infamous red color you were looking for. Betel nut is in both paans either dry or soaked. Betel nut and Catachu (kathaa in hindi) are the main ingredients that give color red to paan spit.
This man spitting all over Calcutta streets had me wheezing 💀💀
every single person said it wasn't beetle nut bro just willed it into existence then acted high lmao
placebo effect can actually make people experience a high
The "crystal" is actually a form of salt that my mother also uses on wounds and cuts etc. I guess it is used to kill bacteria of the micro cuts. a bit like alcohol/after shave.
Right, I got the Same Salt Stone. Stops bleeding after shaving the Face. Greets from Germany
@@Pierus1it's potassium alum , can also be used for water purification.
There are many places that dont suck and u have to go North east or up north. U wont find magic in the air in Cities esp delhi which is so bad
No good explaining a person who uses such title for entire country . This isn't brutal honesty , it is straight up offensive at this point . If he had some advice or log8cal point he would have said it politely
Will show you another version of India if you come to our beautiful state of kerala in south India ♥️
Beautiful state? It is the ISIS hub of India.
Why are you so desperate for white man's attention ?
He is showing poverty porn, my son.
The slap sounds you put over the barber moving your face was hilarious. Not to detract from how well documented your adventures are. Really enjoying your content, thank you. I've always wanted to visit India... now I think Kolkata will be the place to land and explore
"The streets are so dirty."
Spits food out of his mouth on to the street.
"We don’t see things as they are; we see them as we are."
He only did it because everyone else did. The filthiness is from the litter and pollution

So well said. This man is very rude and uncultured. Lacks respect. Travels on a minimum budget (lowest really) , visits mostly slum areas and complains.
The shaving scene is super funny with the graphics 😂 and sounds lol
