@briannemeth9417 I love india. the people command no respect and don’t expect any. You can just blow diaharreah anywhere and use someone’s dress as toilet paper. Instead of greeting Indians gou just say pew! Or yuck or sick.
How is the food dirty? 90% of the video was him enjoying food and talking with locals, he didn’t even get food poisoning like the title claims. He just burped and made a reference to a stomach bug.
@@taykswantedposter2465 lmao do you see any hygiene being practiced? Its clearly dirty just the locals have built up a tolerance for eating it so long.
@@kevo300 Do I see any hygiene being practiced? That’s a dumb question because the video doesn’t showcase the methods and practices they used to make the food, but from what I’ve seen they use utensils to maneuver, stir, and serve food. So assuming they’re normal people who shower, and wash their hands regularly then it should be fine. If you disagree, then what’s the evidence to support it?
@@taykswantedposter2465i think they definitely perform good hygiene, but most of the shops are outside, around many people, vehicles, and just overall dirt and litter
I’m Indian and can confirm hygiene has always been a huge problem here, there is no civic sense at all. You’ve to be selective of what you consume here, don’t just randomly consume from the first street food stall you come across, look around, i’m sure you’ll find a cleaner place to eat. It is what it is here.
Really ? Go to restaurant meet stalls which are actually hygienic why you are going to unhygienic place which has reduced nowadays and saying ohhh hygiene is a problem , India has been changed and still changing , change your thinking buddie and see this guy's channel is full of showing negatives [only negative] of India,
@@UTC29 This is somewhat true. I went to Delhi and a local friend guided us. We ate at clean restaurants and bars, travelled around by grab and left with a very good impression. I did find Jaipur a little more disappointing, probably because we didn't have the local guide. This guy doesn't want food poisoning but is eating in cheap local eateries where the locals can probably withstand any bacteria, but he clearly will not be adapted to it.
@@UTC29Whoa there bud, calm down lmao. Obviously India is changing but not at some super speed lol. Indians still have trouble not openly defecating on the beaches or streets (Don't you remember the poo in the loo campaign?) and tons of street vendors are extremely unhygenic. Just like every country there are good and bad, but you can't just ignore the bad.
I love that the concept is a random, off-the-street American just walking in a different country eating street food and being totally honest about the experience 🤣
@@SmallBrainedAmerican my friend... please do your research before traveling. I've never been to India but even I know you can't drink the water, do not eat any meat, no street vendors, only drink bottled water, no fruits or uncooked veggies.. only eat foods cooked at a high temperature (to kill bacteria). You must do research before you visit to protect yourself from disease & scams...
Regarding the water,You didn’t know that before going to india??? You didn’t research well! I’ve only found your channel today and I’ve been lmao at your expense! Sorry😅 you certainly have been experiencing things most people would’ve known about before going! You’re either very brave or silly. Either way it’s great viewing 😊
"Your humor definitely captures the experience of how unpredictable food in India can be! While food poisoning can happen anywhere, it's definitely more common in places where sanitation is an issue or when trying street food. India has such a diverse food culture, and while it can be challenging, there are also plenty of safe options. Locals often know where to eat, so taking their advice can help minimize the risks. It’s part of the adventure, and once you get used to the food, you can enjoy all the amazing flavors India has to offer!"
I love that the first people you met paid for your food and denied you paying brother. That’s awesome. So used to seeing scammers on the internet it was awesome to see something different
As someone who’s been to India, that represents about 90% of Indians, they just get unfairly represented because the scam artists there are the most persistent and shameless on the planet

Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future

this is such a copy pasted clickbait comment I see on every half decent video now. Its because you KNOW it will get a like from other people or the content creator.
Honestly, no. He was just repeating some cliched nonsense that I heard a lot when I was growing up in Bangladesh. There is this persistent narrative that all people in the west/USA are depressed, alienated from family, constantly taking pills to stabilize their mental health, while the subcontinent is full of happy and family-oriented people. This is completely baseless; there are many well-adjusted, family-oriented people in the US, and plenty of depressed people in India. The latter have to hide their depression due to social stigma. Basically, the guy's whole spiel was bullshit.
after watching his videos and reading all the comments here, i'm in a shock, i didn't know our country(India) to be as disgusting as it's being perceived by everyone, specially by the channel's community. so it's quite shocking to read a +ve comment like urs as well. I admit that there's so much poverty in India, and there're many creeps around here, that's the reason I'd also think twice before taking a turn into any random road in my state or country unlike our guy did in all of his videos playing on his life. But this doesn't prove that there ain't any decency left in the country and there's too little that'd be considered good. There's so much to write, but this hatred against us in the comments makes me feel like anything. Thoug the videos show the poor condition of **a part** of India, the channel's community is reflecting it's poor mindset here too
@@Nocontent_bing Not sure how you wouldn't know it's disgusting.. The pollution is insane, and one of the leading causes of death in India is related to food poisoning / diarrheic issues. Pani puri was my Delhi downfall. India was my first time out of America and I visited with a friend who was born a raised in Delhi. The trip was amazing, and my friend made sure to keep me away from sketchy street food situations…all the way up until the last day. Hours before heading to the airport, my friend took me to the street vendor he grew up patronizing and declared it perfectly “safe”. By the time we got to the airport, I knew I effed up, royally. What followed was the longest, most torturous 17 hours of my life flying back to the States.
i loved the moment he was at the table in the restaurant in a whole new environment and took everything in. “i’m living, i’m alive.” this was so refreshing and a reminder that we r really just here to experience whatever we can.
For anyone thinking of going to India, desinfecting your hands before eating can be a good precaution against food poisoning. You may also want to consider sticking to vegetarian food and eat probiotics like yogurt to support your gut bacteria.
@@larryc1616 Your gut bacteria needs time to get used to a new place. If you are there for a short period it costs time to become ill and miss out on sightseeing.

I saw no 'deep peace' when I was there only totally stressed out chaos, filthy streets, aggressive people and terrible poverty. They send rockets to the moon spending millions to do this and yet care little that people literally die of hunger on the streets. I saw this with my own eyes in Calcutta near the main train station. This is the realest India video I've seen; sure there's chaos everywhere, but the wholesomeness of the people there was also very evident and prevalent

Yes, my partner almost died during one of our trip seasons to India. We always took precautions, but someday during one festival she ate something and got sick to death. Three days of convulsive pain and fever. I was desperate. The hygienic condition of India is so extreme you have no guarantee of being alive after a trip. I agree with him saying in USA there’s a lot of depression and in India that’s not common because there’s always something to do and there’s people outside like 24/7. It’s like when I go to Mexico my depression goes away when I’m there because I always feel happy with the sounds of everyone outside, the church bells that go off at 6am, there always something going on and there’s always something to do. In the us it’s depressing especially in my state of Oregon and I’m sure you all could guess why ☔️

But, I love the sun cooked snails along the roads in Cambodia, and my local buddy wouldn't even tough those, lol.
The trick is to only eat from well known stalls and family restaurants where the food is hot and being made continuously without letting it sit for long..India has a very big economic disparity so most of the working class men eat from the local stalls and are used to handling the food and it’s ways which is not the same for just foreigners but also other Indians not used to the same..Hence the ‘family restaurant and stalls’ part where food is usually a little more expensive and hygienic confirmed by food inspection standards(I would t even call it expensive according to American restaurant charges and the conversion rate) but compared to the former. Also you’ll notice the more south u go,the cleaner it gets you’ll see yourself if u ever do visit..But north or south,it’s chaotic all the same and the peace within the chaos is something special to India..hope u do get to see the place and experience it yourself..and come out with your gut intact with visiting the right places!
I'm from south America, it's sunny almost everyday, really delicious fresh food, we don't have winter/snow so it's pretty much the same weather year round, lots of things to do, very busy... Still very much depressed lol
Same here dude, every winter I come to Mexico to beat seasonal depression. There’s just no sense of a real community in US especially in winter as everyone’s tucked inside cause of the cold

The honking and chaotic traffic alone is one of the reasons I prefer watching India from a distance.
I am also an American who has has the pleasure of roaming the back roads of many countries. Love to see another who is willing to dive in and mix it up with the locals. Most do not realize just how much fun it can be.
I love Indian food, but have seen and heard many horror stories.
Lol
Have you ever had food poisoning? I have, it was agonising. I would never risk eating from the streets of India

They will deframe the food and those people who earns with that. They will let others see how bad India is by showing slums, street hawkers who hastles people. But not a single Indian positivity won't be shown. They are interested to showing honkings and crowd and dirts of india only.
