So much Beatles stuff going on lately, it is so great to see! I loved all of the buzz about Abbey Road and it was fantastic seeing it hit #1 in the UK 50 years later!! Great updates, as always!
Love the “Grow Old With Me” by Ringo. Can’t wait for his new album next Friday.
Spot on about the Beatles singles collection. Bring it on.
In the movie Yesterday the meeting with with John ........ goosebumps.

*HEY DUDE*
Love your videos! Have you ever thought of doing a podcast version of these as well? Such great content! I’d so listen to it of you did it! 🙌🏼😊 thank you for these videos anyway!
Hey Chris - a belated thanks. I had a podcast once upon a time, and it was so much work with little upside! These videos aren't quick productions, but at least RUclips is a platform where something like Beatles nerddom can spread more easily.
Some of my fave podcasts are Fab4Free4All, Producing The Beatles, and Something About The Beatles. Unfortunately, creating these vids eats into my listening time, but those are all consistently great (albeit without regular news!).
The Beatles just announced an upcoming new release, with vocals entirely from a previously lost voice demo recording of John Lennon. The track will have the title, "Thanks for your call, please leave a message."
Still haven’t received my Abbey Road picture disc LP from Beatles site. It’s nuts.
Wow. You in the US or elsewhere?
FabFourArchivist in NY. I wrote the Beatles Store over the weekend. Still awaiting a response. We’ll see...
I saw it in theaters and will be one of my most memorable moments in a theater. #1 being Back to the Future, #2 Yesterday #3 The Breakfast Club. I'm not saying all 3 are the best movies ever made, but they are the movies I remember most going to the cinema to see. (Of course Star Wars (77) is #4)
Shameful. No reason to dump this much plastic on material that could be easily collected on two discs.
It’s too much coin. 230 bucks is ridiculous.
Greatest hits
CALLING ALL CRAZY HOARDERS!
i only want the Free As A Bird/Real Love single.
How much and can you buy them
$200-230 US, available at Amazon, Best Buy, etc. Not sold individually (for now).
I didn't care for the movie. The Beatles we're pretty much of their time. They were innovators and the fact that this movie kind of just strips it down to the songs themselves holding all the power and Magic. True the songs they wrote are very special but let's not forget the Beatles themselves. One guy is not going to be able to replace the Beatles. Let's not forget the contributions a Brian Epstein and George Martin The Beatles achievements would not be the same without them. I know I'm in the minority and a lot of people really liked this movie I however would have gone with just having it been all a dream instead of an alternative reality. Reminds me of the ending of one of my favorite movies give my regards to Broad Street which a lot of the same people who like yesterday did not like the McCartney movie which for the life of me I can't understand why. Peace and love, by Ringo Starr's new album, what's my name?! Due out on Friday October 25th, peace and love, peace and love!
I hear the new Ringo album is his strongest in years!
I hate to say it, but it's likely that Elton would have completely butchered those songs.
I think it could’ve been done nicely, but sans John’s parts of course and certainly not worth the style of mid-80s Elton.
Milk and honey weren't demos...
Some of the songs released on "Milk and Honey" were demos "Grow Old With Me" is one in particular.
This cow feels highly over milked. I've had most of this stuff all my life.
Got to keep the flame from going out.
Why do you say "Vinyl"? How about calling them Records!
They're used synonymously.
That's like saying "Why call it a vehicle when it's clearly an automobile?!" :)
@@FabFourArchivist one is the matter-product.-vinyl and the result is a record. We didn't say in the 1960's I'm gonna drive my steel made car. We knew what material were it's underpinning. That's my Boomer/old school/vintage wiew!
Haha... I get your point, but language evolves I suppose.
I blame the boomers anyway - you guys are the reason "cool" means something other than chilly! ;)
@@FabFourArchivist I have 21, 18 & 11 year old children. And I hear it all the time, "We say it this way now, this generation." All the best!
