I hope we get to hear ‘Now and Then’ sometime.
Me too, really need it to happen and All for love.....
And Paul promised he's gonna finish it.....
And Carnival of Light.
Yes!! Now and Then, Carnival of Light, and the 27 min. of Helter Skelter are my wishlist for Beatle releases. Lets hope they find the light someday.
I'd like to hear it now and then but not all the time.👍😁
I think "What's My Name" is a brilliant title for that album. It just works in so many levels.
Shane Wright “You Know My Name!”
@@wiltchamberlain3484 Like the song: "You Know my Name , Look up the Number" Definitely in Ringo's vein of the Beatles Songs . Like a Bossa Nova/ Comedy/ Novelty Ringo Mr. Starkey had alot of the Beatles humour Octopus, Billy Shearers. ... I doubt if that was on an album it was a flip side... I think " I Want You (She's So Heavy) ".

"More Volume" would help.
Happy Birthday Ringo. I love you. 🎈
I would sell my right arm to see Ringo and Paul live together lol
Ölsk Zeri Paul is dead lol
@@wanderin1898 Paul is Ringo
Who would buy it?
Thank you for the latest video!
I'd love to see Paul & Ringo touring together. With a couple of other 60s/70s icons who are still active? Or with Julian, Sean and Dhani? :)
Henrik Hansson
i think along with jeff lynn and Dhani would definitely be something
@@rainblaze. Absolutely!
better with God and jesus ..
@Michael H. no jesus is my son....god will play the lead of cose ... Ringo on the drums..paul on bass....jesus on guitar.......
@Michael H. Yeah, you may be right. Too bad, really. I think Ringo, even if he doesn't play that much anymore, still could get a nice steady 4/4 going, but Paul's voice is a bigger issue. Last time I saw a full Paul gig was on TV maybe 5-6 years ago. Still sounded fine then.
Thanks for another fab news episode!
These are great videos - nice and concise. Keep up the good work!
This is a great channel man keep it up The Beatles The Best
Thanks for the latest Beatle News 👍
Why can I not get enough of The Beatles?? Amazing band and marvels of songwriting
In my opinion I think that these 4 guys gave everything they had, like George said that they gave their nervous systems. They didn't have to. Thank God for the Beatles !
I’d love to hear more Paul and Ringo.
Ölsk Zeri please elucidate
Love these news bite videos
Some really great news out of this video. Back To The Egg is SOOOOO eagerly awaited. It was my first record ever bought with my own money. It's been my favorite album since it's release. So it's re-issue is more than welcomed. Let It Be was my first Beatles album ever so that is going to be exciting to hear (and see). Yeah. so great stuff coming out of the Beatle universe ;)
Thanks JT. The scuttlebutt is that Egg and London Town will come out as a pair, so lots to be excited about for fans of that McCartney era. TBD on bonus tracks, etc....
Back To The Egg is a massively underrated album. Bought it on cassette aged 9. All my friends were playing marbles in the playground whilst I was getting into Getting Closer.
Yes, a Paul and Ringo world tour would be something.
Great content!
If McCartney and Starr were to tour, they should perform in smaller venues and call it "Close Enough".
The band is close enough to the audience, as well as close enough to the Beatles. It's also a comment on Ringo and Paul's relationship. As close as it can be. Close enough.
I just think that would be cool.
I love that word play!
Great idea, really!
I think it should be called As Close As We Can Get. ie, to The Beatles & to the audience.
would be nice. like how they did for the 50th anniversary of the Ed Sullivan Show
@@emptyspotlight They could call themselves McStarrtney
Everyone peace and love ,peace and love
@@olskzeri2723 Okay, this is my last response to you.
First of all,Ringo is talented and funny guy,who doesn't like him?
Second:I found one year old comment from you stating that James Paul McCartney is dead, how long have you been doing this?
I really want to hear that song george wrote for ringo but had never been recorded :( good thing olivia gave the original sheet to ringo tho
Should be released in the next 150 years! If we're lucky
Glad someone caught that. ;)
Love it . Subscribed and thumb up .
Paul and Ringo toured together in the 1960's.......... remember that?
@@olskzeri2723 bloody hell! Paul's still with us, be logical dear and stop believing these 60's rumours...
Ölsk Zeri Check out Macca Lives and you will stop believing that ridiculous PID nonsense! You need help. Good luck.
I hope Let It Be movie is available for worldwide, not just in Europe or US.
Came across your channel, subbed.
Nice. If you're enough of a fan to put Beatles in your username, I think you'll dig it here.
Can't believe Grow Old with Me hasn't charted, shud have been a big hit....
SlappyFrankenstein telling the cold hard truths
Glen Campbell's version faer superior...Ringo's is sloppy
Glen Campbell's version excellent. So is one by Mary Chapin Carpenter. Beautiful. I was disappointed in Ringo's version. Ringo is a personality. He doesn't have much of a voice. Just because he's singing a beautiful John Lennon song doesn't make it good.
Ölsk Zeri are you kidding me?? How have I never heard about this?
SlappyFrankenstein Very truthfully put. And may I add, a terrible arrangement of that song.
"to be released some time in the next 150 years"
I had to do a 10 second rewind TWICE before realising 'no, I'm not hearing things'.
Paul tells us that from the "Let it Be" footage there will be "Something". Sounds good to me.
Way too much pressure and expectations for them to tour together. They would be wise not to, and I am sure they thought about it and came to the same conclusion. Like an old friend, it is best to remember them together the way they were.
Would be awesome if you did a deep dive into the magical mystery tour album
To answer your question at the end. Yes “That Would be Something.”
For Joe Scarborough to take time off from Morning Joe to interview Ringo Starr says alot about the power and popularity of The Beatles. The Beatles broke up 50 years ago .
omg. i hope we do get Back To The Egg Remastered soon and London Town. then ALL of the wings albums will be remastered
Great Beatles info !!! But we shell see about Ring :). I hope this is not the last but you never know …. Thanks for the video !!!!!
Great !!!
I admire artists who retire a project or career when they feel it's time, but I'm sad because of what this retirement might be implying. I really hope both Ringo and Paul stay with us for a lot longer.
Ringo's album should be top ten world wide........
Definitely his best of the last few.
Du you REALLY think so?
FabFourArchivist that's not saying much!
Oh boy, I hate to say it & I’ve been a BeaTles fan for decades but I can’t see Ringo & Paul doing a world’s tour. Not at their age. Paul’s voice is shot & Ringo by announcing “no more albums” is a sign of slowing down. Ten years ago would have been great.
Even though I like Abbey Road more than Let it Be, I didn't really care much about the Abbey Road reissue this year cause it really didn't have anything new on it that was worthwhile, IMO. The 50th anniversary of Let it Be is another story though. Really excited about it because for the 1st time in 50 years, we're going to see (hopefully) a restored version of the film including the rooftop concert. It's really the only thing left in the Beatles' canon that most fans don't have access to.
You're not alone in being a bit disappointed in the AR box set. We know Paul thinks they're "scraping the barrel bottom" with each release, but there was surely more to include from this period. I have to think it was more a lack of consensus on what to release than lack of outtakes.
Yeah, a restored LiB and the release of the Shea film, and I think fans will be mostly satisfied. Hope they both arrive soon!
Lynn Turman Yes, but the surround mix sounds amazing. That by itself makes the set worthwhile.
@@FabFourArchivist Me too Lance! Love your channel!!
@@ricardolopezrago1688 It's probably because it's what I've been listening to the past how many decades but I prefer the original mix.
This video. Is fantastic all the news Ringo what’s my name I hope he makes more albums Paul Ringo world tour would be awesome
The interview with Paul could have been a while ago. According to IMDB the Peter Jackson BEATLES Let it Be movie is already in post production which could mean a summer 2020 release date!
I checked with the interviewer - it took place on Oct. 28.
I find it very hard to believe that a Paul and Ringo tour has *never* been discussed. They both know it would be sold out in minutes
My brain is racking on what that hint could be, but nevertheless, I'm excited!
Ringo sounded a bit annoyed at the 'world tour' question toward the end

Boom! 💥 Welcome.
Releasing the Let it Be film? What about the Shea Stadium film!!??
What's frustrating about Shea is that we KNOW it's ready (since it played with Eight Days a Week).
I don't recall details, but there was some licensing/legal issue surrounding that... maybe it allowed theatrical performances but not streaming/sales?
@@FabFourArchivist I don't know, but we've been screaming for that release for 40 years, and still nothing!! I know it was remastered for that theatrical release of Ron Howard's film, but it seriously needs a good professional edit by someone who does musical film editing. The editing is truly atrocious as it is.
I think that the next video will be about my sweet lord and he's so fine.
Well I like the comment that Paul McCartney and Ringo should tour and it makes me think back to the 1970s when I used to say I'd like to see The Beatles do one more tour and then guess what happened John Lennon gets killed in 1980 and that put the end of that dream and wish that for me for 10 years I was hoping that would happen so all I can say is that Ringo and Paul they better hit the road in the next couple of years and I just have a feeling that's not going to happen but wishful thinking my friend and I do wish it could happen
Poor Ringo is tired of putting out albums they hardly sell.,all the musicians, time , energy and effort to have them in the bottom of the charts for a week or two then disappear. There are many great albums that get totally overlooked. His latest "what's my Name " is one of his best yet ...should be top 40 at least ..maybe he will put out 2 -3 songs CD's until there's enough to compile into an album
@@olskzeri2723 theres always one that loves to keep the paul is dead hoax gping....you cant change your DNA. Your fingerprints or your bloodtype..sorry its the same guy as always just older few more wrinkles and grayer...nice try
I really hope they will finally issue a properly remastered and restored "Let It Be" film, which they've been talking about doing since around 2002. I hope they don't pull a George Lucas and only give us an edited version or the new documentary in its place.
Oh man, the fans would revolt if that happened! I’d rather see them indefinitely delay the project than release an altered version of the film.
Thanks God.
This was true decades ago. I remember hearing Vertical Man in 1997 and thinking ... why? This was true since at least the late 80s.
1:20....ok....but what about “LONDON TOWN”?
It's been 50 years since the Beatles broke up, how come it's never come up.
Fun fact, concerning the passing of photographer Robert Freeman: his first wife, model Sonny Drane, had a yearlong affair with Lennon, and was the likely inspiration for “Norwegian Wood”
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonny_Drane
Ah, I had completely forgotten that bit. Thanks for the reminder. Have you read that Norman book? Shout was a big influence on my education of the band, but I haven't read the Lennon bio.
I haven’t read the Norman book either. Someday!
Thanks to you wife.
I prefer a complete cd of the Ep double compact.I found lost time buy Eps,for hear only two songs.
The next video will be on the controversy of George Harrison being sued for “My Sweet Lord” due to it sounding like The Chiffons “He’s So Fine”
😲
@@FabFourArchivist i can't believe he had to pay bright tunes , but he came back with ThisSong.
Hi
If Ringo doesn't make an album anymore, which I cannot imagine, he goes out with a more than average album. But it is not in my Ringo top 5.
I always hoped Ringo made a sort of Beaucoups Of Blues part 2.
Let's hope that there will be 2 movies, related to Let It Be, next year.
Great idea on a follow-up to Beaucoups.
And by the way I think Jeff Lynne would be a great person to pick for that World Tour and George Harrison's son to play rhythm guitar I do believe Jackson lead guitar player and there you have it that would be a dream come true concert or maybe you could get Pete Townsend to jump in there with Jeff Lynne Starkey and McCartney but just like at the 50th Anniversary wind 50th anniversary of the Ed Sullivan Show Paul still had his band there and his drummer why I don't know but got to let those guys go Paul and do one more great thing make a lot of money and make a lot of people smile

Here we go...
I agree about a EP. Ever since Rings let Mark Hudson go as a producer all his releases have sounded more or less the same.
What’s my name along with Ringo 2012 have been the least substantial work he’s done.
PLEASE no more Ringo albums!
Ringo is correct. An EP with 4 or 5 good songs is enough.
Macca to play Glastonbury 2020, yes or no?
You called it! Confirmed today.
Let's be real.. NOBODY outside of the most diehard of diehard Beatles fans listen to 'new' or recent (anything since the 90's i would say) albums by Paul and Ringo, yeah they were still buying Paul's stuff, but honestly, do you ever play them? except for maybe the first couple of weeks after they come out just to have a listen? That goes for ALL classic era artists, not just them. With classic artists their appeal is their back catalogue of hits and classics that people grew up on, people want to live in those days again, and hear those great songs of the 60's/70's/80's that played when they were in school, getting married etc.. very few people listen to the modern era recordings of classic bands, that's why when you go see them live there is rarely more than 1 or 2 recent songs on their setlists, the artists know this. On top of that fact that there is little interest in their new music, they also don't make money off it since people just pirate everything nowdays, nobody buys it, so why record? Just tour, play the classics, throw in some never played gems, and put out live albums. That's what most fans really want.
That guitar on his shoulder is photoshopped beyond recognition. They’ve totally mangled the shape and the angle of the neck.
Read the 1970 Rolling Stone interview with John Lennon. When asked about this movie, he said when he saw it, it made him sick. He said the movie was set up by Paul for Paul. He said the producers cut the movie so Paul looked like God and the rest of the Beatles looked like they were just lying around. This remake is another McCartney BS Story just like that horrible Eight Days a Week BS Story. Looked like a bunch of youtube vids spliced together. Btw, if McCartney took over the drums from Ginger Baker, Bonham or Keith Moon, he would have been punched out. Ringo embarrassed himself by never doing that. He let McCartney do that too many times. Instead he foolishly quit the band. Even after that punk move, when he came back, he should have then punched out McCartney. He seems to fear McCartney and always follows his lead.

No more Ringo albums?? so there is a God after all.
Since it opens this video (visually), I have to finally say it. It becomes exceptionally hard to respect where Lennon was at mentally during these days post-Abbey Road LP. DGAS whether he hated Klein or Paul or George Martin or who.
I've heard the audio of John saying he hates the B-side medley. LOL. Well John (RIP), "Sun King" does pretty much sound like a** and is the worst effort (imo) within the medley. Should've been on a Plastic Ono LP where it belonged. I don't know where his mind was during these days and TBH, I really don't care. He's jealous, he's petty, and worst of all he's wrong. Dropping a steaming pile on perhaps the greatest B side of all time just makes him look pissed off and bitter with axes to grind.
Sir Paul wants to make himself look better. That's why he suppressed the original and is still suppressing it with a new movie. 😐
What do you mean?
Ringo hates fans, but he’ll take their money.
Peter Jackson is doing a film on The Beatles? Oh, that's just peachy. How the hell is he going to work in overblown and protracted battle scenes and events he will make up?
😆 That made me spit out my coffee...
time they retired. better talent around. we had better with the beautiful south who stayed true to the british public with their well written music.
Love your channel. But HATE mslsd
My sweet lord is George Harrison’s best song by himself
Not even close for my ears
Jeff Lynne, Beatles wannabe
Please enough with Paul..Can we find out if any George is coming out..died too soon
George’s estate has been fairly quiet. They uploaded a lyric video from Chants Of India last week, but that’s been it.
I can only report on what’s actually happening... and Paul (being alive) is up to more than George and John. 🤷♂️
Ringo: First no No more Autographs and now no more new albums. Ringo really was never a good song writer anyway also never really a people person.
