Good information! We'd suspected as well that the tolerances on that mating face would need milling, but it sure is beefy. We'll probably go that route for our own upcoming build. Keep up the good content.

Hardbody Content!! Honestly I’m still waiting to see the final Dino run from the “simple turbo series”. Honestly one of my favorite series I’ve watched on RUclips. I really enjoyed watching how simple it was for your turbo set up. Felt like something they would do on Engine Masters.

I think we keep wanting to see the hardbody vids cause it’s a vehicle that just does not cross anyones mind as something that could have a lot of potential an it’s a good looking vehicle but just not desirable at least with the die out of low rider trucks now it’s a street truck gen. The new awakening of fast trucks with the TrX an Raptor fast trucks are the new thing now.
I'm about halfway through adding a T3/4 turbo to my HB. Fabricated the intake adapter yesterday, Rev9 turbo manifold installed, intercooler is in. I'll update you with a video when I'm done. One question, do you use the factory Oxygen sensor on the exhaust or do you just delete it? Turbo arriving today, need to drill and weld the oil return, and get the supply line in today. Thanks so much for the info and guidance! I'll take off the Rev9 and check for flatness, the new gaskets look like they seal well.
@@LocalLosers520 You probably know this but you can configure the AEM wideband guage's output to supply the correct voltage to the factory ECU. So you can provide the signal from the AEM o2 sensor directly into the ECU. Just found that out.
@@LocalLosers520 Yea, you set the calibration to 'P4' on the back of the gauge, that set's the correct voltage/procedure for the stock ECU. Maybe it could make the KA24E-T run better? I'm just waiting for a silicon intercooler adapter, a boost gauge, and an oil fill-up and I'm ready for first startup this week sometime!
@@LocalLosers520 I've been looking at doing a similar build but using a really small T3 turbo, not for drifting, more for autocross and general fun. You guys have been a great resource, thanks again for these videos.

@@LocalLosers520 you're still running a stock ecu in the simple turboed truck right? How does the ecu know the fuel mix? Just offthe MAF?
