- Some have recently said, "The church of Christ is a cult." Well, Billy Graham did not seem to think so as one of the first, most comprehensive, biographies of Graham's life came down to potential authors: William Martin and Ed Harrell, both are members of the church of Christ.
I have an uncle who is "high up" in the BGEA. Very prominent. He and my aunt started out low on the totem pole, moving from city to city for two-year periods to do the leg-work preceding the "crusade." Back then, they generally avoided churches of Christ because of the certainty of rejection. They wound up in North Carolina, of course, as he moved up the ladder. Billy Graham was no friend of "Campbellites", as he called us.

God bless you brother, I thought I was coming down that way. I haven't got the leading yet. I was hoping to meet you. I noticed you were saying something about William Branham. And Billy Graham. And gallimore Church. I do not agree with them on polygamy or how they see the serpent seed. And brother Branham did not teach the way they see it. To me brother Branham taught there was three Messengers. Brother Branham stayed back with the word. While the other two went down to Sodom and Gomorrah. To blind the people. Brother Branham was Malachi 4:5-6 the spirit of Elijah turned us back to the truth of the Bible. He was truly a major prophet. But many of the Branham followers misunderstood him. And I truly have been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. So keep up your good work and prove all things. May God bless you. Shalom

My family went to the Church of Christ when I was a kid. My father eventually became a minister and ministered for a few years. I had nothing but good experiences when We went.

You might be a cult if… the fact that someone from your denomination which was founded at the same time as multiple other cults (SDA, JW, LDS, etc) wrote a biography on Billy Graham is your strongest argument against being a cult.. also, if you even have to make an episode on why you aren’t a cult 😂
look up the meaning of cult.
@@BibleSaysTV it’s a very ambiguous word. I’m not saying across the board it’s a cult.. but the same movement that produced several other known cults birthed the coc denomination as well.. btw “look up the definition of denomination” - you are one
