Leak above the water heater

There was a corroded water heater due to a leak above it. As you can see in the video water was leaking slowly down on top of the water heater causing a lot of corrosion. Leaks like this can be caught ahead of time by performing periodic visual checks of your plumbing system. Another sign to notice is the discoloration and buildup. If you see discoloration on your plumbing system, you could have a leak that needs to be addressed.
We were able to fix the leak and replace the water heater for this happy customer.
