Replacing upper control arm and upper ball joint on a 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4x4

I made some time-wasting mistakes with the ball joint boot and the footage of reinstalling the Jesus-clip is missing.
The sequence for finishing the ball joint boot should have been:
1. Jesus clip
2. Put boot in place
3. Non-Jesus clip
I did have the boot loosely in place when pressing the ball joint into the socket to protect from dirt.

I thought that long bolt exited the rear of the engine? Was it installed backwards?
