Eric, you had some issues with fish not biting on the cranks as well as you'd like. I want to know if there is a strategy or plan of action when that happens. Do you slow your retrieve, switch to a different bait, change colors, add scent, or what? Or is it just part of the game, and you keep pounding for them, until one gets hooked? Would like to know what to do if that should happen while out fishing the harbors. Thanks!
I should put this on my bucket list, 60 years of fishing experience and my biggest brown trout was about 15 inches, biggest rainbow 23 inches.I am not greedy any trout over ten pounds would make the trip worth it. Only 914 miles from my house. 11:40 would be about my luck lol
@@wibigfishcom Thanks for the reply, sitting in Oklahoma, managed to catch two walleye this week, tomorrow however, it is going to get into single digit temperatures so I guess I will stay home, happy new year !
I clicked on this video so fast! Also I’ve been trying to do research on lake trout and I just can’t seem to find anything about them in Kenosha. Some people say they go into the Kenosha harbor and some say they don’t. What do you think?
lake trout are more open lake fishing. during the fall they will move shallow and you can catch them along the shorelines in 15-40 ft of water, but they will rarely move into the harbor such as brown trout or steelhead
You kinda sound like Adam Sandler lol but I never thought to be in the harbor this time of year I normally just go when the salmon run in the fall near end of august September
Planning to shore fish those Kenosha harbors, but traveling far, and was wondering if you could share some great locations for shore fishing, for browns and steelheads. Anything would be helpful. Thanks.
I found the biggest lake run brown I’ve ever seen in person before today… dead on the bank on the way back to the car :( I don’t think anyone killed it but what a sad sight
Funny at the 12:55 mark I paused video and went to check the door. Great Vid Eric and Tony
Always some of the best content to be found anywhere!
Love the vids. You should put this info in a book based on the latest series of vids. Finding fish based on the season, from Kenosha to the UP.
Cool video! I was in Racine harbor on Monday afternoon in the crazy wind and struck out with my first try at it. Threw mostly square bills.
Nice way to eff up your transducers, backing down through the ramp ice!
Hey man, at that time of year, in the locations you're talking about, is any retention allowed?
Eric, can you post of a video of like your run down on spawn sac curing/ tying???
I’d absolutely love if you could. I’m still learning the basics of steelhead fishing and browns
I see you guys all the time down there. I'm usually riding my bike past there around noon most days really fast. I'll scream out next time.
Great harbor to kayak fish in November and December!
If I may ask
What brand / type of rods you gentlemen are using ?
Jyreen !! -- you are the fishy-ished guy in the Mid-West !! Always great content !!
How long should my net extend to if i ever get up there?

@@jordanziegler2694 thank you very much! So they probably can be caught just lake side of Kenosha.
Literally watched a guy pull up a laker off the south pier a week ago.
I’d like to booked you this year, I’m not on social media, how do I contact you?
