Just caught my first coho in the Milwaukee tribs… you aren’t kidding, I got horsed! Thanks for being a great source for info on a new (for me) field of fishing!
My Dad and I have followed your work for years and would LOVE a father and son trip like you do with your very cool son Cal. The four of us on the boat would be a dream!!!
I'm a Racine native and I've been obsessed with bass and northerns in the root and never targeted trout or salmon. This video changed my mind and I'll be under the main street bridge this year. Looks like a ton of fun!
Great action. Almost got me thinking of taking my kayak to Wisconsin instead of Michigan next week. That area looks like it would be favorable for kayaking
Awesome video Eric!!! Quick question... when you are fishing the harbors (i.e. Racine, Milwaukee, Kenosha, etc...) what size Blue Fox Vibrax spinners do you primarily use? 1/4 or 3/8 oz?
Great fish. What's the name of the reel you were using. I've had a sedona break first fish out of the box. My brother's ci4 drag went out the first day.
Fished the same spot today oct 8th and fish was jumping all over but they were not going for anything. Lots of boats and nobody got anything. Tried everything and nothing.
Amazing video!!! Very exited to see you next one in the UP. I go to school at Michigan Tech and can’t wait to see what you catch. I would be stoked to fish with a Legend!!!
Eric you always put your people on big fish. I enjoy watching your videos. Would love to go with you on one of your small mouth trips. Those were huge ones you caught this summer.
Eric, this is frickin epic!!!! Your excitement level is so contagious. You make me want to leave Oregon and come fish there. I’m smiling from ear to ear watching you my friend😁. We just finished up chinook season and we are chasing coho now. Those are giant silvers you are catching bro! Great work!
I now see that the 18 pound salmon I caught in a small lagoon in a park in the northern part of Chicago, when I visited from Europe was a king salmon. Always wondered if it was a King or a coho salmon, but now I know. Also caught some steelhead. I was casting spoons. Here in Europe I fish for atlantic salmon and sea run brown trout - truly monster sea run brown trout up to 24 pounds in tiny creeks. But the huge brown trout in lake Michigan is not known by many.
Jeez Eric, that net job! Lmbo 😆 😆 Those piscifun carbon x reels are hands down the best spinning reels I've ever owned for the price. Don't think I'll ever go back to any other brand. Great content as always, hoping to come back to get some late kings, cohos, and trout
I love early fall Kings but I would much rather fry up a Silver with olive oil ,onions and Mushrooms with Monteal Chicken seasoning any day of the week
Killing it like usual! My 2nd daughter was born about a week ago and I haven't fished in a while because of it. I'm dying to get out there for some kings and cohos. Save me Eric!

Once again, stellar video. Thanks for the consistent, quality content.

hard to make a fish fit in a net it doesn't fit in. Nice recovery looked fun glad you didn't catch one of those trebles that had that net.
I'm pumped. I can not even wait.
