I just want to say that I had never watched your videos until I saw on another YT channel about your tragic loss when it first happened. I started watching you regularly then. It was so upsetting seeing what you and your children went through. I am in awe of how well you have handled your losses, your trials which we can only imagine how hard they have been and the grace you have shown so many who watch you. You exude love and wisdom that comes across on your videos. What a testimony your life is. How timely that you are using "the joyful pantry" to demonstrate how to provide for one's self in the way that is a blessing, not a burden. Bless you dear one.

Asking for prayer Heather. Today is my grandsons 6th birthday and I am unable to see him. It is so painful but I am trusting that God is doing a work in my daughter and son in law. Praying for their salvation. Families will be divided because of our belief in the one true God.

I was a young widow (tragic loss also)with a 7 yr old daughter & I am so sorry for your loss. @@TheKneadyHomesteader I am sorry we have met like this & that you’re also in the “club”. I watched some of your older videos & it seems you have done what I did. My daughter & I were in therapy on and off for years. At age 7 she idolized her Dad & I think it has been especially hard for her to heal as all daughters at her age are very affected from the loss of a Dad. I just was there for her & God’s Grace was something I showed her was available. I believe how we live and grieve while using God shows our children that his presence & word are the answer. I think grief is difficult for us Westerners because that is learned where other cultures celebrate death & I think talking about the different ways others react to tragedy can be helpful to our children too. I know your Loving kind heart is really all your children need to see. ❤️🙏🙏Blessing’s

YES, our LOVE is in jars, pots and plates every day when we serve it to our loved ones, if we are blessed enough to have them near. Every step I take I see GOD everywhere in my garden and small homestead. Every rain drop, flower and wild bird honors the glory of our Lord. The pollinators in summer are a riot of love and wonder in this miraculous world. Saw my first Robin of the season two days ago! Spring is coming even here in the N.E. and we have the same last frost date. 🐥🐦
Heather, I love you and what you are sharing on your channel. Every time I watch you I shed some tears. Most of the time there are happy tears but sometimes they are not. You are so real… it’s a breath of fresh air. Don’t ever change. I've not heard of lovage. It looks/sounds like its a cross between celery and coriander (cilantro). I love both!ys up for a new video! Gotta love coffee 😊 it gives me time to sit and chill out.

I really need to get this for my son. He has terrible eczema. We're just financially unwell right now. My 25yo daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian cancer with an extremely rare mutation, then 10 days later, My husband was let go from his job of 20 plus years. He had just started doing uber because of my daughters health and he was just in an accident yesterday and i think our car is totaled. Please pray for my family. It really seems like when it rains it pours. But MAINLY for my daughter.
Heather, you mentioned burning in your skin. Is it related to the accident? I ask because i have a disorder called crps. It happens due to trauma. It took me 9 years to be diagnosed. I pray for you and your family. I rarely comment but i adore you. Love you sis!
Yes. Due to trauma. I have so much nerve damage but I am so thankful the Lord, through my surgeons were able to save my leg. I consider it a blessing that I can feel this pain rather than not have a leg and feel nothing. @@TheKneadyHomesteader hey girl! I sent you one. I understand what you're saying about your leg and the pain. My CRPS was from an injury when I was a deputy. My pain is off the charts. I can't remember what it's like to not be in pain. But I have had that realization as well about how I should be thankful for having my leg because there is someone who would trade spots with me in a heartbeat. It's easy to get wrapped up in emotions, but it's good to have that perspective. I'm praying for you. Burning pain is no joke. Sending hugs 🤗💓

I'm so glad the tallow has helped you. I've used the Toups Organic version for quite a while, as well as Van Man's, but I hope to get some from It's the Balm some time. Oh Heather, I have tears. What a great point about critical people. I will try and remember that. Oh and I forgot, my daughter has eczema behind her ear too! My daughter, after the second COVID vaccine, eczema on her whole body, huge patches on her stomach.

Lovage it"s called maggieplant in my country my grandmother used to grow one right next to her backdoor, I love it, brings back good memories of old fashion home cooked food . Its going to go on the top of my list to get it this year because mine was gone for quite some years now and I never got a new one . When you talk about the love and blessings of our Lord, and how The Spirit moves you every time you talk about it I can see it, it also reminds me of my grandmother, so thank you for bringing those precious memories back in the front of my memories. I thank the Lord for blessing me with this online family of Christ it encourage me very much.
There are still many people that don’t know that world governments have an ongoing depopulation plan which effects food supply, water and air. People need to detox daily to remove microscopic parasites, heavy metals, graphine oxide, glyphosates and fluoride. Buying organic and avoiding fast food chains and brand name distributors
is important. So many diseases, immune and skin conditions are related to what we eat and drink. Blessings to our Earth, mind, bodies and souls. Just finding the blessings among the weeds.😊 There is nothing to fear. ♥️

When you grow your marigolds once the flower dies , dead head the plant and dry out the flower head and you can use those as your next batch of seeds..I do it every year and I have a giant bag for this summer 😊

Oooooooo YES !!! Show us some videos ! Like a series … most amazing summer ever ! We want to see the hauls ! The seed starting and planting … harvesting … preserving … and fun stuff mixed in !
One of my exciting things this year is to plant morning glory in hanging baskets off hooks on the fence posts so it’s beautiful flowers and it hangs down and different colour flowers in raised beds along the bottom 🥰 nasturtium is my fav for hanging baskets … they just don’t die … as a flower dies it makes a big seed I pick off for next year then more flowers grow and it was beautiful and full all the way until it was almost ready to snow lol !

So motivating … that I’ve stopped over thinking and putting it off and finally starting my RUclips channel to document my journey from a crap life and poor to getting my homestead and all the stuff I learned and doing and all the stuff I’m working on … and at some point I’ll figure out how to edit and take over 30 000 videos and pics from the past and make them into videos to post lol so no longer Empress Jennifer SWC … it’s now my journey to my Ocean Homestead ! (Side note: when you see Esmae Isme … that’s also me lol)

Love love love the balm. Almost through both my 4 oz jars. I bought the Soothe & Baby Balm. Also got the multipack with Original, Soothe & Night Cap. I'm not crazy about the smell of rose but the balms work. I do love the smell of Frankincense which is in Night Cap. My feet are looking fabulous. The dry patches on my face are diminished. Will be getting more.
I set my carport up for canning with my crockpots, gas grill and camp chef outdoor cooking products. Never had any issues with being unlevel but I will check next time for sure. Never would've thought of that. Thank you for that reminder.

If you want to lengthen your growing season go ahead and start your tomatoes onions and peppers. Maybe put them in pots( large) in your green house when they get larger, then sit them outside when its warmer.😊❤❤❤❤❤

Ordered the balm. How do you clean your salt and pepper (auto)also the olive oil and spray containers(measure one)?thks fo making me smile and laugh!
I got a new stove and my stove was level but the ekements werent. Even when i replaced the element to a canning element it still wasnt level. My guy managed to get it to the point that when my canner has water in it and its on the element its pretty level thankfully.

I haven't seen lovage in Walmart. I got mine from sow true seeds. It's a mix of parsley and celery. I personally think it has a mild cilantro flavor

I’ve decided to take up medicinal herb gardening this year. It’s a fascinating subject to me. God has given us so many things that are good for us. I do have a question. How do you talk to someone about having something put away for your family when they say - the Bible says not to fear. I don’t know what to say when they say that to me.
Thats awesome! I definitely am learning more about medicinal herbs and flowers as well! LOVE IT! Thats a great question..... in Proverbs 6:6-11 it says
"Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man."
This is why so many are telling people to "wake up"..... it is time to be like worker ants. Preparing, stocking up harvest to get us through the winter is exactly what the Bible tells us to do. Being prepared, being good stewards can be done with no fear. The two have nothing to do with one another. All that you do, do to the glory of God with a joyful heart..... being good stewards is something we are called to do.... and preparing is just that. Many prep with fear, or covet, hoard, have a spirit of gluttony... a spirit of selfishness.... all of those are from the enemy and not of God. Hope I explained that well enough. Great question! Thanks for asking me!

Have you ever tried emuaid max? And straight emu oil around the eyes. Also drinking about a gallon a day for most adults is what we really need and many of us are not getting ❤
