Thanks for sharing! So many correllations with my path, I was just sitting here nodding. I was a New Age guru for 30 years before I was saved. I was immediately told to leave Sedona, AZ where I lived, and my husband and I moved sight unseen to Southwest Missouri. We bought our little homestead off the internet and crossed our fingers. Even though my husband was not yet saved, he was also being steered by Yeshua. We started attending a Southern Baptist church and I plunged into studying the bible in earnest. It did not take long before I realized that most of what was going on in our church was not biblical. I began following Torah, observing Shabbat, and then did the unthinkable and give up pork. My husband is being patient with the changes, but he is not yet Torah observant. It is a process for us, but I am moving in the direction my heart and my Lord tell me I need to go, so I'm content.

Following the Torah is DENYING WHAT JESUS CHRIST DID FOR YOU ON THE CROSS. Read ALL of Romans. Read Corinthians! Read the NEW TESTAMENT sister. May the Holy Spirit help you find the PEACE AND REST that comes with BELIEVING IN OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. Jesus is our sabbath rest!

@@YY-jv4uu Not according to Yeshua. I would suggest you read those books again, as well. Yeshua went to the cross to allow us salvation. I do not follow the Torah to be saved. Yeshua did that for us. All I have to do is believe. I do it for OBEDIENCE and to show my God that I love him, in the way that he asked to be shown. Matthew 5:17-20-- the Sermon on the Mount. I personally do not want to be called "least in the kingdom of heaven" because I did not follow the law and told others not to follow the law. That is what you are looking at as a fate according to Him. Torah in no way denies the sacrifice of Yeshua. You are following the traditions of men.

@@YY-jv4uuyou are sadly mistaken. The ideas you put forth would only be true if God changes. Israel was saved from Egypt and then given the rules to live by as members of the household of God. What does Jesus say about those who are “lawless”? “Get away from me! I never knew you!” Those should be chilling words especially if you’re trying to entice others to follow you into lawlessness.

Wow, when she said Grace goes along side the Torah, it about knocked me over.
I really needed to be reminded of that. Since coming to Torah a little over a year ago, there are times when I'm really down. I think man, I'm never going to get all this down pat. Yeshua said, "my yoke is easy, my burden is light", why do I make it hard and heavy?
If I strive to be obedient, there's grace to help lead me to better understanding
    Very encouraging !!!!!!!!

@@YY-jv4uuif we go on sinning (acting against the instructions of God found in Torah) willfully there remains no sacrifice for us and we trample under foot the blood of Jesus. It is a terrifying thing to come under the anger of the Living God. Read Hebrews 10:26 in context.

Goodness, I can relate to this testimony so much! I am still the only one in my immediate & extended family. It wasnt until last Sept that I found some like-minded believers. Many of the Christians in my life have been awful in treatment.
I spent many years scouring the Scriptures, crying, 3 day fasts, crying Scripture begging the Lord asking "where are you?" I was also in a Pentecostal church. It took one act of obedience, which led to another, which led to another. I wrote a personal "thesis" on the Sabbath against the claimed "Lord's Day" sabbath and by the end of it I remember saying "I feel like I should be honoring The Sabbath.
It was a rocky 4.5 years, but now the Scripture is jumping off the page, makes complete sense now, etc. The fire in my heart for Him & His ways is greater than ever.
    Thank you for sharing!

Oh my. Jim Staley had a video recently about the Torah movement. That Yah is raising up Spirit filled Joshua's and passing by those of us " hung up" on slamming church, arguing over His name, calendars anything and everything. I felt in my spirit that it was true. People don't pick fruit from thorn bushes and thistles Scripture says. She's a Joshua. Filled with His Spirit , Truth and LOVE. THIS video is so powerful . And THOSE will reach so many in Christianity that the Torah terrorists will only offend and run off. I was one too. A Torah terrorist.
:( Thank you thank you thank you for this confirmation. I needed it. Im pretty sure Im not alone either. Shalom and blessings from Alabama. ❤

Praying to be shown Truth and then reading the Bible are dangerous activities. When I asked our pastor about the passages in Torah which said “my people will …… through all their generations in all their Dwellings” and he answered “that’s not our tradition” I was a bit confused. Then I got to the words of Jesus and he was condemning the religious leaders for replacing the precepts of God with their traditions! Wow, the church is doing the same thing. So now I read the Torah and follow YHVH’s instructions as best I can. Are traditions bad? No, so long as they are not elevated to the level of the Word of Yah nor contradict His Word. Check everything against the plumb line of Torah.

Yes! I said the same prayer after reading Matthew 5-7 daily for a year. "God show me the truth of Your Word and what You mean." He told me to stop reading and listening to commentaries. He has been leading me through His Word and connecting "New Testament" to "Old Testament", so I see what Paul actually meant, rather than what Christian leaders taught in separation of Old Testament. So many things were taken out of context. I also had a lot of nagging "not quites". 💞

I lived in Dallas, TX for 33 years, so when I started observing the Sabbath and I quit celebrating pagan holidays after a video by Jim Staley, I cut myself off from everyone that I ever knew, because I suddenly realized from 1 Cor 5:11 that I was to so much as eat a meal with a "believers" who continue to worship other gods. So in June 2021, I moved to AL, then FL, then CA, MO, LA, but I never found any like-minded believers; compromise was everywhere. I found that some or all were still celebrating Christmas; they'd say, but we don't celebrate it the way the world does." When I was the only one not showing up, there was a whole sermon on YT dedicated to shaming me. When my pastor found out that I bought a manorah, he called to tell me that I was going to Hell!
So the last time I saw any family was in Aug 2022, and the last time I had a friend/community was in Dec 2022; so during this time of isolation, I've gone 471 days without a hug, handshake, a pat on the back, or a high-5.
When Elohim is all you have, you find out that he's all you really need 🎉 I started learning the Hebrew alphabet in 2/23, and then I learned about the Hebrew names and how badly the Bible had been tampered with. So I bought The Halleluyah Scriptures in 5/23. When I wanted to start celebrating The Feasts, I packed up for a week long camping trip, and I drove 12 hours for Shavuot, only to leave the next day.
So, had I still been busy wearing 5-6 different hats in the other home churches, than I never would have found The Truth. Once I was willing to leave everything, I could finally hear His Voice, so I don't regret it. Just a year ago, I thought for sure that I was a Wise Virgin, but now I can see that I was on a wide road. The path is very Narrow!
On YT, I recently started following: At The Foot Of The Covenant in Cape Town, South Africa. They are a tiny home community with probably 8-10 people!! So, I sent an email the other day to ask if he knew of anyone in the US who doesn't compromise, but he said no. If I could afford to live there, I would!! My lease will be up at the end of Aug, so I have to move again, but I don't know where to go next. My prayer for the last year has been: I just need 1 like-minded friend!

Where does it say in the Bible that sabbath is on Saturday??? I’ve been investigating this also

    • @TheLife_Podcast
      @TheLife_Podcast  Месяц назад

Luke 23:54- 24:2: The account of Yeshua’s burial and resurrection reveals that the Sabbath was on Saturday, which comes right before they discover Him risen early Sunday morning (the first day of the week).
This is reflected in the counting of days of the week in the Greek, as it states here: one "Sabbaton" or "eis ho sabbaton" to mean Sunday, the first day of the week.
This connection between Saturday and Sabbath is reflected in modern languages, which preserve Sabbath as a cognate of Sabbath:
      Italian: Sabato
      Spanish: Sábado
      Portuguese: Sábado
      French: Samedi
      Polish: Sobota
      Hungarian: Szombat
      Greek: Σάββατο (Sabbato)
      Permian: Subota
      Morduin: Subbota

That kind of gets lost in English, since we named all the days of the week after false gods.

I will add that the one mention of the word Easter in the King James is actually correct as it was not at all referring to the Passover. This is a common mistake people make. However, if you read it within context, calling it Passover would be wrong as it would then put it after the Feast of Unleavened Bread but it was Herod who said to wait until after Easter and when he said that, it was the middle of the Feast of Unleavened Bread so Passover would have already taken place. We know that Herod was indeed a pagan so thus, he very likely celebrated at least one of many fertility goddesses.
(Acts 12:1-4) "Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. {2} And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. {3} And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) {4} And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people."

    • @molliemoxie
      @molliemoxie 3 месяца назад +1

If you look at the original word, not what it was translated *to* - you might be surprised. It is the Greek word "pascha." It's in the bible 29 times. Every time but once (Acts 12:4) it is translated as Passover. Jews at that time (and still today) refer to the entire Spring feast season as either Passover or Unleavened Bread - lumping them all together with one name. Herod was definitely not a good guy, but this was referring to the Passover season. 🙂

@@molliemoxie I understand that is what many are saying and also that the whole week is referred to as Passover, but some do not realize that Jewish scholars were among the many translators that worked in a cyclical fashion for the KJV. I never had a problem with HEROD saying Easter (the one and only time the word is used in the KJV) because he was most certainly a pagan so it would make perfect sense for him to use that word.

Sorry if I sound argumentative in that reply, you were so polite in your response and I certainly do not want to come across as rude, NOT my intention,. This is just an important topic to me and the interesting thing about walking this "new" path is it has only proven to me the validity of the King James and the King James has proven to me the the validity of being on this path and following his laws and commands so it means a lot to me. I have to believe that the Father kept his promise in the purity of His word, which is not in the modern translations that remove important verses and phrases that prove the importance of eating clean and keeping the feasts long after Jesus had risen

I'll just leave this here for you...
Once you accept Yeshua as Messiah you are "Grafted IN" to Israel. (Romans 11)
And you are no longer a foreigner, of the nations or a gentile, but a citizen of Israel. (Ephesians 2:19 and 1 Corinthians 12:2)
There is NO SUCH THING as a Jewish or Gentile "Christian". (Galatians 3:26 through 29 and Galatians 3:7)
People who CLAIM to follow Yeshua the Messiah thinking they are still a gentile is one of the things that have caused so much confusion and so many false teachings in "the church"...
If they are still a gentile, then they have NO PLACE in any of the Covenants or the Blessings of Israel. (Jeremiah 31:31-34)
      BUT...
If they INSIST as being counted as a "Gentile", then they will be counted as "the Nations" who come up to the Kingdom, not part of the Kingdom...
Gentile/Ger/Foreigner/the Nations are all from the same Hebrew word... (Micah 4:2, Zechariah 14:17)
There are NO "Gentile" gates or a "Church" gate in the Kingdom... (Revelation 21:12)
Leviticus 19:34 - The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.
Exodus 12:49 - The same law shall apply to the native as to the stranger who sojourns among you.”

Deuteronomy 1:16 - “Then I charged your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your fellow countrymen, and judge righteously between a man and his fellow countryman, or the alien who is with him.

Leviticus 18:26 - But as for you, you are to keep My statutes and My judgments and shall not do any of these abominations, neither the native, nor the alien who sojourns among you
Exodus 12:19 - Seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses; for whoever eats what is leavened, that person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is an alien or a native of the land.
Exodus 20:10 - but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you.
Deuteronomy 5:14 - but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant or your ox or your donkey or any of your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you, so that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
      Leviticus 16:29 - “This shall be a permanent statute for you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble your souls and not do any work, whether the native, or the alien who sojourns among you;
Leviticus 17:8 - “Then you shall say to them, ‘Any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
Leviticus 17:10 - ‘And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.
Leviticus 22:18 - “Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘Any man of the house of Israel or of the aliens in Israel who presents his offering, whether it is any of their votive or any of their freewill offerings, which they present to the Lord for a burnt offering
Leviticus 17:13 - So when any man from the sons of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, in hunting catches a beast or a bird which may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth.
Leviticus 24:16 - Moreover, the one who blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him. The alien as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
Numbers 15:26 - So all the congregation of the sons of Israel will be forgiven, with the alien who sojourns among them, for it happened to all the people through error.
Numbers 35:15 - These six cities shall be for refuge for the sons of Israel, and for the alien and for the sojourner among them; that anyone who kills a person unintentionally may flee there.
Joshua 20:9 - These were the appointed cities for all the sons of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them, that whoever kills any person unintentionally may flee there, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood until he stands before the congregation.
Numbers 19:10 - The one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening; and it shall be a perpetual statute to the sons of Israel and to the alien who sojourns among them.
Romans 2:14 - For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves,

If you believe in the sacrifice JESUS made on the cross for YOUR SINS and to fulfill the Law as stated throughout the New Testament, then you have no need to follow any Torah laws. They have been fulfilled by Christ our Lord and Saviour. Don’t be manipulated by these herbrew roots cults. Believing in CHRIST is our salvation. Read Romans ch 9 and 10. There are also SEVERAL other verses that substantiate this. No need to follow any feasts. No need to follow any food laws. And this goes for the ex-Jews that are now Christian too, though they have these things embedded in their culture so it’s understandable that it’s hard for them to let these things go.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:17-20
He fulfilled the Torah by keeping it perfectly. He didn't abolish it. Salvation only comes through faith. He also said if you love him, to keep his commandments. That's why we live this way. We aren't earning our salvation, we aren't doing works for salvation. We live this life because we love God and are grateful to Jesus for redeeming us from our sin.

At the end of the day if you wanna eat or not eat pork or celebrate Christmas or Easter, do whatever your conscience allows. Don't celebrate if it bothers you. Observe what ever Jewish stuff you wanna Observe. The Bible is very clear about all things being clean because of Jesus. Paul talked about eating meat sacrificed to idols. Do whatever for conscience sake.

Based on your comment one must ask, are we following Yah as Lord or are we following our own deceptive conscience and just calling it of Yah? You see what I mean? "Who are we to please God or man?"
      2 Peter 3:15-18
If you are speaking of Mark 7 it was regarding ritual hand washing AND the phrase "all things are declared clean" does not exist in the original manuscripts. The book of Acts clearly points to people when referencing clean/unclean.
Please read 1 Samuel 15 and see what Yah has to say about doing what is good in your own heart and "slapping a Jesus sticker on it".
Transforming from traditions to the Truth can be a hard process, but it is amazing and Yah honoring when the Spirit leads us to His ways!
Bless you on your road of discovery. ❤
