I watch a lot of trials and depending on the state they have different rules on how you can ask questions. Jackson is purposely asking in a way that he knows is wrong and their will be an objection but the question was still asked in front of a jury and that leaves an impression whether they like it or not. Then he asks the same question in a slightly different way that conforms with their rules.
How is this judge even behind a bench. Prosecutor knows all he has to say is “objection”, no reason at all and the judge will sustain it, if she doesn’t, she doesn’t overrule it, she directly asks the witness the question again. She doesn't need to. The objection comes after either the defense doesn't ask a proper question, makes an accusation, or asks a compound question requiring more than a yes or no answer. I assume the judge isn't trying to confuse the jurors with legal language

She doesn't need to. The objection comes after either the defense doesn't ask a proper question, makes an accusation, or asks a compound question requiring more than a yes or no answer. I assume the judge isn't trying to confuse the jurors with legal language
