RECIPES:
CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD BAKED OATMEAL
1. Add 1/2 banana to an oven-safe dish and mash
2. Add 1/2C of GF oats and top with 1/2C of milk of choice. I used oat milk
3. Add a dash of cinnamon and mix
4. Use toppings of choice! I added DF mini chocolate chips and chopped walnuts
5. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes and enjoy!!
AVOCADO BREAKFAST WRAP
1. Add a splash of olive oil to pan, then spinach. Season with salt and pepper and cook until wilted
2. Whisk 1 egg with a splash of sriracha. Once spinach has wilted, add to pan
3. Add cheese of choice. I used DF Violife mozzarella, cover until melted
4. Once melted, add tortilla and flip
5. Top wrap with everything but the bagel seasoning, avocado, turkey
6. Roll up into a wrap and serve with sriracha on the side
TUNA CUCUMBER BITES

SPICY MAPLE CHICKEN
1. Toss 2 diced sweet potatoes into a medium pot with salted water. Bring to boil and cook for 20-25 minutes. Drain and return sweet potatoes to pot. Mash with a splash of maple syrup and season with chili flakes, salt and pepper.
2. Mix 1 tbsp of melted butter with 1/2C breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and paprika. Add a splash of olive oil and mix. Pat chicken dry and top chicken cutlets with a thin layer of sour cream and mount the crust on top, pressing to adhere. Cook for 8 minutes at 425º
3. Mix green beans with a splash of olive oil, salt and pepper and add to sheet once chicken has roasted for 8 minutes. Then place back in oven for 12-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and green beans are tender.

Great idea with the tuna and cucumber. I only had minis which only adding more bites, and i like a little mustard and relish for some sweetness, cranberries when i can get them. Love it!! Definitely a better alternative to a sandwich. A year old and still feeding the culinary lost. Thanks!!!

Sat on my bed earlier and just cried. I have no problem with becoming MOTIVATED, but I have to DISCIPLINE.
I’m motivated to lose 50lbs so I can fit back into all of my clothes, I’m have motivation to go to the gym and learn to eat better- but I have no discipline to actually GET me to DO those things.
Probably because my entire childhood and teenage years consisted of people making empty promises to me in some of my most important developmental years. My parents always said one thing and never followed through, my mom always started diets and gave up, my dad promised to do things with me and spend time with me but he never did- so I grew up having no discipline with anything in my life. Now I’m 25 and I can’t use that excuse, because I’m 100% capable of changing my ways and mindset.. but y’all it’s hard 😩 I have workout clothes, I have a gym membership, I have supplements and pre workout, I have a fridge full of healthy ingredients- I have all these pieces and yet I can’t seem to put them together and complete the puzzle, you know?? Please tell me some of y’all are in the same boat 🥺
Of course honey! Lots of us are in the same boat. And as a mother myself now, I do the same things my mother did, because I am so overwhelmed, I forget all about the things I said I would do. So I would say first, see a psychiatrist, then a counselor. They will allow you to talk through what’s holding you back and if you can’t do that, write ✍🏼! You will normally end up with solutions on your own, accountability is the most important though. You have to know what the consequences are if you don’t do what you need to. I’m very sick with my gastric illness, and hypothyroidism (I suspect), and that’s a reason to get back in shape, eat healthy, but I’m limited in what I can digest. That’s why therapy works bc you get an assignment and you want to be able to come back and say I did it, and this what happened. Once you stick with something for a month or two, it’s easier to keep it going. You’re still so young and trust you do not want to waste these next several years. Once you turn 28 your body rapidly turns on you, you have to keep up. I hope anything I said was helpful. Best wishes to you! If you lived near me I would work out with you, maybe you can find a local group to meet other woman, with similar goals.
